+Dewillie Smith Aside from a few gen 1 pokemon Megas (Butterfree, Fearow, Machamp and Golem), i think they are done with giving gen 1 pokemon megas. If Ninetales gets a Mega, so must Arcanine, since they are counterparts.
I really hate that all these people these people that have played Pokémon GO and Pokémon GO only are trying to act like they've always been a fan. They haven't even seen the anime and have probably never even owned a card or played on gameboy. It's just popular right now. Just a few months ago everyone was making fun of me for playing Pokémon, now everyone's playing it.

As a kid, I did not like Gary but today, he is my favorite character. He did grow & mature in the series far more than Ash did & I wish we could have seen his journey & watch it continuing on as a Pokemon researcher.
I evolve mine so I can complete the Pokedex. plus, like I sorta prefer riachu to pikachu. I just think it cools cooler. Pikachu is still adorable and holds a special place in my heart, though.
Nothing in the pokemon universe will ever make me feel so good as when I caught Mewtwo in Cerulean cave for the first time! Maybe I was a bit older than Jethrotex at the time in 98-99 (11/12?). But I found and caught him (with ultra balls! because I gave Moltres my master ball...) without knowing about him beforehand. And that was insane.

Weezing My choices aren't always what people call conventional, but I tend not to be that bothered about Pokemon people seem to love for some reason (e.g. Gengar, Charizard, Arcanine etc.) Interestingly enough, Pikachu and Charizard are two of my least favourite Pokemon of all time (mainly because Charizard never really helped me out in battle much and Pikachu because of petty over-exposure...Raichu gets no love most of the time), but your opinion is yours and yours alone. Like what you like :)
That's a great list man! It's good to know that other people like Weezing, Tentacruel, and Porygon besides me. I feel like they're such awesome Pokemon but they don't get enough love.
+Caleb King (MrFoxyRaccoon) Nah man I love Tentacruel, especially his Red sprite! Porygon's just so fascinating with its unique existence as the first digital Pokemon (I also love its evolution as a matter of fact) and Weezing is cool in my eyes and is also immune to ground type moves (always a plus).
Generation 1 has a special place in my heart. Its when my friend showed me the Pokemon and I was blown away when I saw them. Then I bought the game with my own pocket money and started to play for nonstop hours. That was about three years ago now and I'm still a Pokemon to this day. I'm never going to forget about Pokemon and I'll love it for the rest of my life!
6:39 the greatest part about that picture was that in one of my playthroughs of Black 2 I caught a Growlithe and named him Doge. He was great, and I loved using Arcanine in that playthrough!

Arcanine is also my favourite pokemon. I love fire pokemon in general and he looks like a combination of a dog and a tiger, it can't get much cooler than that. I also started loving Mew after I saw the first movie in which he made that adorable little squeak.
Despite all the awesome and cool Pokemon of late, its kinda refreshing to see some of the simpler designs of Kanto. They probably aren't my favorite collectively, but there are a lot of good ones!

I grew up with Gen 1, and since there were so few Pokémon back then, it was easy to remember them and grow attached to them. I also liked the simple yet cool design on many of them, as well as the vibrant color schemes. Great choices, I love every one of them and most of them are on my top 10 as well. Some that I can't leave out of my top 10 (besides a lot of the ones you picked) include Machamp, Gyarados, Pidgeot, Alakazam, Onix and Kingler. Just classic designs and nostalgia whenever I see those dudes/dudettes The Gen 1 love is reeeaal! I'm hoping/guessing you'll do all of your favorites from each generation?

I loved Sandslashed, ninetales, ponyta and eevee the best. But I was 6 when I played gen 1. I would have to lie if I said they weren't still some of my all time faves
Is it just me, but when I was little I used to think Sandslash evolved into Kangaskhan. Am I alone? Granted I never had the Gen 1 game I only had the cards but still.
My fav 1st gen pokemon are Lapras,Psyduck,Pikachu,Lickitung(Dont blame me),Alakazam,Gen- gar,Butterfree,Nidoqueen,Squirtle and Charizard(no particular order)
I had the same feelings for Arcanine when I first saw it. Then I saw its pre-evolution Growlithe and fell in LOVE with it. I still love Arcanine but I love Growlithe WAY more than Arcanine
I like Pikachu too. As a kid, I could never bring myself to evolve mine, so I waited until I got to Cerulean cave to catch a Raichu. In Gen 3, I caught a Pikachu in FireRed and evolved him into Raichu, and I caught another Pikachu in Emerald version and I never evolved her. Both Pikachu and Raichu are a couple of my favorite Gen 1 Pokemon. Venusaur and Charizard are also a couple of my favorites. My first Pokemon ever was Bulbasaur on Red version. It was super effective against Brock and Misty’s Pokemon, and was resistant to Lt. Surge’s. When FireRed and LeafGreen came out, I just had to pick Bulbasaur again and relive the experience. The Venusaur I had on FireRed is actually really strong when I mega evolve him. He’s gotten me out of some tight spots in the Battle Maison. Poliwhirl is also a favorite of mine. Why? Simply because a Poliwhirl bean bag toy from Burger King was the first Pokemon toy I ever owned. I mean seriously, I had no other Pokemon merchandise prior to that moment. It’s a really memorable moment from my childhood.
Ninetales is based off of a Kitsune, which is a Japanese fox spirit. They can have up to nine tails, and can only die once they've all been cut off. Kitsune's start out with one tail, but as they grow they get more, and until they get their ninth tail they look like a regular fox. ( The acception being the tails of course). Once it gains its ninth tail its fur will become golden. It's also said that once a kitsune reaches an old age they can shapeshift into a human.( I love mythology and Ninetales is my favourite Pokémon ! :D )

I love many Pokémon on this list, and most of them I've always liked. However, Arcanine didn't stand out to me too much before, but when I used him in my Black 2 and White 2 playthroughs, he quickly grew on me with his awesome design and high attacking power. FLARE BLITZ ALL THE WAY!!!
