Its Lala I become a Liverpool fan because of them aswell, when Torres won it for Spain in 08 and Gerrard being the stud he is, made me want to choose Liverpool. I almost went with chelsea. Thank God that didn't happen! 9 years and counting. What about you?
liverpoolfc963lfc i started watching torres and gerrard and they just blew me away. the fans are also so supportive. and i felt a bond between me and liverpool. so thats why i also chose liverpool when all my other friends started supporting man united. its been 9 years too that i have been supporting them😻
Agreed. Never a traitor, just a fantastic servant for LFC. One of the very best to have put the red jersey on. I have him in my all time team as one of my front men alongside Suarez and Salah.
The reason I fell in love with Liverpool as a kid. The first and last footballer I ever fully hero worshiped. Everyone at school knew when we were talking about football the first thing to come out of my mouth was Fernando Torres. When he left I thought it was just a dream, a very very bad dream. I worshiped him so much it pained me to see what he became at chelsea, even though I hated chelsea. He was in decline at Liverpool for the past year or so, but what he became at chelsea was just shocking. Liverpool have been a roller coaster rider with each passing season, but we're on the right track with Klopp and the boys. Maybe another Torres will appear for us, Suarez was better, but for me "another Torres" is someone I can hero worship like a kid again. GOOD LUCK BOY!!! MAKE US PROUD THIS SEASON #YNWA
@@patricksantino8888no liverpool fan will forget torres because of his love for the club except the whole Egypt who follow liverpool only because of salah
@@user-ps7nz2ll9x if you read last chapter of Ring of Fire by Simon Hughes, re FT9 and what went on behind the scenes and behind what was leaked to the media, you will clearly see he never wanted to leave
@@user-ps7nz2ll9x In the Chelsea match where we were league contenders under Rodgers, Torres showed he didnt want to score against us. Shame he wasted his career at Chelsea. At least Mane and Salah exist for now
Just checking in for my daily dose of Fernando Torres in his prime. Can we just invent a time machine and go back to the first day he walked into Anfield and then repeat.... What a player. Generational talent.
@@redking5762 I was looking at all the goals he scored again for Liverpool yesterday. What hit me was the quality of them all. World class stuff Torres was delivering for LFC back then
2008/09 was the first season I started supporting Liverpool, Torres was one of the reason He could be another legend if he stays in Liverpool No matter what, it's all history. Thank u Torres!
Torres retiring hits hard, gerrard was already at Liverpool when I started watching football (2005) whereas I grew up watching Torres. To see him now retire is almost the last inclination of my childhood and I’m sure many other people. Happy retirement El Niño
Tick Tick Boom his reasons could be valid as Liverpool was selling great players like alonso reina mascherano.... He felt that he would not find any success here it it continues..... Regardless to me he is an anfield legend even if u dont want to accept it
@@mightymouse5029 no he still support liverpool until now , he left because he felt the club has no ambition to win by selling good players..he didnt left for money(his wage is not increased that much in chelsea)...rather he gave us money to buy suarez and caroll instead
there was noway, lfc at this time had no money and and elnino knew it's gonna be a long way to build great time and win any thropy. 10 years has gone and Ft had true, lfc still hasn't got thropy yet .
United fan here. It’s a strange feeling to see a player I love scoring against us haha Same like Henry in Arsenal, Drogba in Chelsea Respect to El Nino what a beast he was at his prime, the Liverpool era.
@@lucid.6610 because he was the best striker for us and we loved him from our hearts and we didn't expect him to leave which created a huge hole in our hearts but tho even he left we can't stop loving him even now
gerrard and torres possibily one of the best partnerships/combos in morden football history. both at the time peaking in thier careers. was such a blessing to watch them live. kindof like rush and kenny.
I'm not a liverpool fans but i do follow liverpool news. Everytime liverpool vs chelsea. He always scored. If m'boro would stay up at premier league, i think he will their regular threat. Just like suarez did to arsenal & norwich city. All the goals are absolute banger!
That 2 year period when he was at Liverpool was his best. At that time he was the most lethal striker in the world. Good years. Loved watching him play. I salute you Sir El Nino...
best striker in the world during his time at liverpool and one of the reasons that made you watch liverpool;he was simply unmatched and his partnership with S.G cant be forgotten

I play FIFA ultimate team and and he is my striker. Even though he isn't the best. He is my favorite. However back then, at Liverpool he was the best striker.
