Main reason why Filipinos sing at class: for the Teacher to skip the lesson and focus on the singer. 🤣

Singing in class is normal in PH. When the students are sleepy or tired, sometimes the teacher would ask someone to sing to break up the monotony. PH language and dialect are also really good for singing voices, hence why there are so many good singers in PH. Singing is favorite pass time, they can't help but get good at it. :)

This is why it's hard to win signging competition in the Philippines lol

And the fact that most of them were sitting while singing those high notes 😂😂😂.

Hahhahahahaha that's so true we used to do that in our classroom we sing to get the attention of our teacher to stop lecturing because in our class we are 53 students and half of us can sing some is competing in stage contest and choirs .And Filipinos naturally born with a strong diaphragm because when our moms gonna call us to go home they usually scream to the top of their lungs 🤣🤣so I think we adopt it.

Fun fact: In a Filipino classroom if the teacher is not around or maybe late, the classroom becomes a concert hall. Another fact: The kids use their voices to feed their hungry stomachs. They just sing and people give them something in return.

Yeah we like singing in class, I remember when there was still no quarantine and it was still face to face here in the Philippines my classmates and I always have time jamming in the class during break time also there's always this classmates of ours who brings their instruments too and we're all jamming and singing together(I missed those days) (Also Justin Vasquez is now pretty famous and has his own RU-vid channel)

When I was a child I can sing high notes but because of puberty my high voice becomes deeper and now the song I'm singing on this days is "sway" imagine it's a big different when I was a child I can sing "making love out of nothing at it all" but now I'm singing "sway"

There are 3 big reasons why Filipinos are talented singers. First, almost every households in the Philippines have a karaoke where every member can sing and practice singing that makes a good singer. The first karaoke machine was invented in the Philippines. Second, if a member of the family has shown very good potential to become a great singer, the parents and the rest of family including relatives and even neighbors will encouraged him/her to join competitions so that if they won and become a popular singer, it will give them a chance to get rich and change their lives. Third, Filipinos, when they sing, they prefer to sing high notes music such as the songs of Whitney Houston, Mariah Carey, Celine Dion, and others, and will always try to perfect the songs so that they will be very much appreciated and liked by the audience.

Well singing in the classroom helped me somehow.. I'm working in a cruiseline a d whey they found out I'm a Filipino, they started to ask me to sing for them, and most of them give me tips afterwards 😊

When I'm in high school, I had 4 best friends and 3 of them are good singers❤️one belter, one ballader and the other one can do both genre😍 aside from that we also have had a classmates who were good singers, I think 10 girls and 4 boys they're definitely a good singers😊 but luckily I'm just part of the audience 😂 idk how to sing nor dance haha.. I for one love to sing in classroom (well, when I was still studying), it is because of the natural reverb of the room, that is being created (this goes the same when we sing in the showers). As you can hear, it (the reverb effect of the classroom) gives depth to the voice. And yeah we, love to sing. ;)

honestly, it's really hard to become a famous singer here. there is so much talent and so much you have to go through just to be there. we probably have one of the hardest singing competitions in the world. even in the eliminations, they have to face some of the best and most of them are potential winners. just imagine if all of those in the video joins a singing competition, who would the judges pick?

Yes Filipinos can sing and dance. We sing anywhere like while working eating taking a bath or doing some chores playing or doing anything to ease up the work we’re doingand mostly the one can sing good are poor and middle class and the instrument they use all the time is guitar we learned to sing by listening to the radio and watching tv then sing in the mall. In the mall it’s free to use the microphone and there is accompaniments where you can hear if you are good like the karaoke.we can not afford for the lessons and instrument, guitar is the only one we can use or buy because is cheap.or go to the neighbors borrow guitar and learn to play.
