There's actually a board game that I've wanted to play with others, but never found the opportunity: it's called "The Forbidden Island", a co-op game about trying to gain treasures on a sinking island and escape. I was actually surprised board game arena had it! (Haven't gotten around to playing it with others though...) I even have the physical game itself, I really liked playing it! I wonder if they could possibly add Jamaica
Forbidden Island is a great game. It is one I recommend to families the most, especially for a co-op. A gem that still gets played in our house. We also enjoy Forbidden Desert. Jamaica would be a great game to add to BGA. I am often looking for good 6 player games on there. Thanks for watching Tha nos!
I absolutely fell in love with The Castles of Burgundy on BGA. I haven't played it irl, but I think this version's even better. The guide was just perfect! I play this game almost every day😍 Btw, I was quite disappointed by The Lost Ruins of Arnak guide, and even after 2 times following it step by step I couldn't play the game correctly and had to quit.😓 Maybe it's because a lot of actions were automated within the guide and therefore I wasn't able to understand how to make game choices properly. I hope that after reading the rulebook thoroughly I'll finally be able to try playing the game, because it doesn't seem to be difficult overall, being in the family section🤔
Definitely 😁. I have a massive list of games that I want to film and it is jockeying in the top five right now. So it should be really soon. I'm excited to finally sink my teeth into it. Thanks for checking out the vid Jade!
yup, BGA has been crushing it lately....in fact so much so I find it hard to keep up w/ all the new games they've been adding. My one gripe is not a lot of them have the solo modes implemented, which is a shame considering that is a really good way to prepare to teach the game to new players. In fact, I learned how to play La Granja by playing the solo mode on BGA & then was able to teach it to my non gamer spouse pretty easily. And (more importantly) she likes the game as much as I do!
I love La Granja and play it quite a bit on BGA! Such a great game! I do wish they included more solo modes, but Carnegie, Gaia Project, Viticulture, and Feast for Odin make up for that a bit. Thanks Andrew!
I love BGA and agree with all your comments about how much value for money it is. I hadn't realised Arnak was free - it's my favourite game to play on there but I thought it was for premium players only? Anyway, fantastic implementation. Of the recent additions, I am a big fan of Martin Wallace's PI. I also love Jaipur, Nidavellir, Viticulture and Century - although I own all four, I really appreciate being able to play them at any time.
Thanks for watching Ian! I regularly play all those games on BGA except PI. I am completely unfamiliar but with your endorsement I will definitely give it a try. Looks interesting and something my group would enjoy. Thanks!
