Tessa at number 10 is hilarious. I cannot wait to see her shoot lights out and play shutdown defense this year!!!

I'm biased toward South Carolina (alum and long time fam) but I do have to say --- I am not buying the Tessa Johnson at #10 thing. She easily goes over Ice Brady S'Mya Nichols, and Alyssa Latham - easily. And here's why. She plays with such an even keel. Nothing rattles her as the ice coarses through her veins. She can score at all 3 levels, and her defense improved markedly over the course of the year. Finally - she has tasted the ultimate victory. She knows exactly how to win and do so in a DAWN STALEY system - and she will be supported by a team returning 90% of its undefeated Natty team and loading up with a stellar recruiting class to support. The splitting of play time HELPS (not hurts) her because she has the opportunity to absorb the game, get mentally right every time, and stay fresh. If you translate her scoring average over 40 minutes, she's averaging nearly 25ppg. She is a student of the game and values her bench time (as evidenced by her own words describing her sophomore high school season as she sat out with a broken femur). By your logic, Fulwiley should be #9 because of having to split play time - and that clearly makes no sense because even when she's having an off night, she just impacts the game in so many intangible ways.

Ice Brady hasn’t done enough to be here. She was kind of disappointing last season tbh.

JuJu is the truth. Shade of UConn is the player to watch going into her Sophomore year on that team. In my opinion, bigs like "Ice" Brady take more time to develop.

1. Tessa is getting too much hype for her title game performance over players who balled out ALL YEAR. 2. Where's Audi Crooks? 3. I've been a UCONN fan since 1991, but Ice Brady over KK & Ash is WILD! Those 2 started all year & were super productive. Also, Ice is gonna have to fight Sara Strong & Jana El Alfy for time this year. 4. Hanna is better than Juju. She is a TERROR on defense.
