Minor correction; when talking about Donkey Kong Country Returns I said it was developed by Intelligent Systems by accident. This is not the case, the game was developed my retro studios. Sorry!
why is everyone calling you funny twitter man, i know you as drama-island-2h-video-that-i-fully-watched-after-it-landed-in-my-recommended-for-some-reason man
Uh oh a persona fan, guess that means the video is awful, sorry I don’t make the rules. But in all honesty, I’m glad to see so much effort being put into your content from so early on. I eagerly await to see what you put out in the future and how you continue to improve. Wonderful job.
@@switch1e quite difficult to put into words but I appreciate this flavor of content still being on youtube: broadcast yourself also I i played many of these shortly before I began to switchie (and they were great)
8. Agreed 7. I was expecting you to talk about Hyrule Warriors Age of Calamity. Anyways this remake is great 5. Funny, I'm playing this game at the moment! 4. I haven't played it, but my sister has, and she enjoys it 3. Pretty good 2. One of my favorite Pre-Awakening FE games
Wow i can't believe your a persona fan :/ i just found your content recently but i might need to stop watching. Im sorry its not me its you. *Shoves away the fact that i beat persona 5 twice in one year and got royal day one for my birthday* In all seriousness im really enjoying the content i've seen from you so far, It makes me feel nostalgic from the types of videos i watched growing up. Here's to a good 2021 🤞.
okie dokie time for my favorite games I played this year. I'm only halfway done with it but Ori and The Blind Forest is pretty special. The gameplay is tight and difficult, the graphics and music are beautiful, the level design is strong, the story telling is whimsical... Come back to me on this next year. Devil may cry 3 is the first devil may cry game that I enjoyed and I still hate it. It's just old, and I'm not good with playing old games. But it's a dramatically epic game, and I'm really looking forward to playing 5 soon. The Henry Stickmin Collection is everything I wanted from it. Just a ton of fun. Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain. I will never beat this game, but man oh man it's so fun. Feels like the only time I've played a good stealth game, which I've really been looking for. Or it's not, and you can spend a million dollars blowing up everything in a building. I'm bringing up Enter The Gungeon because I've been playing this game so consistently for 2 fucking years. If you haven't played Enter The Gungeon, you're missing out. Animal Cross is Animal Boss. Bloons Tower Defense 6 is the best tower defense game. Moonlighter was great but the combat wasn't all too interesting. The addictive quality came from being a merchant. Child of Light is super good. Beautiful, fun story, excellent "turn-based" combat (you'll understand when you play it, it's super unique). Golf Story was surprising. First golf game since wii sports and I'm a big fan. Fire Emblem 3 houses is really good and really long. Really, really long. Akane was a nice surprise. Very arcade-y. nice to have on the switch. Katana Zero is STILL a masterpiece. I'm playing the hard mode right now and it's so excellent. Kyle, please play it. Yakuza 0 is not a masterpiece but damn it's fun. Being fair with games I've started in 2020 and beaten in 2020, Yakuza 0 is probably my favorite game of 2020. It gets slow at points, some mechanics are flat out dumb, and some parts feel cheap, but the story is an absolute joyride with so much personality in every single corner. So much to do beyond basic combat. So damn fun. Just one of those games where I'm grinning and laughing more often than most. Very excited to play Kiwami. I'll play persona 4 eventually, Kyle. I will.
yet ANOTHER banger from the man Switch1e himself lowkey i agreed with your views on GTA, New Horizons and P4; your writing and execution of depicting your thoughts just works *so well* in editing and youtube videos, and i WISH to do similar things (but ofc, premiere decides not to work for me :/) anyways yeah another great vid and i hope to collab with ya soon, mate. take care
List started out strong... up until Persona. Okay but seriously, good on you for playing it. Persona 4 is a good game, but I personally found it to be decent at best. I have a love/hate relationship with the series and a bad experience with fellow fans. Also, speaking of what you said about Path of Radiance, it's my personal favorite FE game. I didn't like Three Houses all that much, but I love the older games. My top three are PoR, Fire Emblem GBA, and Awakening. In my opinion, GTA V is the GOAT on the list. I played that in 2020 for the first time and I loved it. You made a swag video.
I don't believe you. Where are the links to these Persona claims? Joking aside I found the video to be hilarious & I'm glad you enjoyed Donkey Kong Country & Path of Radiance. ^^
@@switch1e Honestly, it's not that big of a deal. Newcomers usually just start with 0 and work their way up to 6(well, it's 7 now, but you get my point). Though starting with Kiwami is perfectly fine. Long story short, 0 is not only a prequel, but a celebration of Yakuza as a whole. There are tons of references to the other games. If you start with 1/Kiwami 1 and work your way up to 0, you'll get all the references. But if you start with 0 and work your way up to 6/7, you might not get the references, but you still get a fantastic game that many deem to be an even better introduction to the series than 1/Kiwami 1. You either get a phenomenal celebration of Yakuza, or a phenomenal introduction to Yakuza. It's a win-win. It's like a long-time Sonic fan playing Generations VS someone's first Sonic game being Generations. It's a completely different experience, but a great experience all the same.
