UrAveragePlyr I played more BF4 than BF1. I became level 61 in 3 months beacuse of playing BF4. BF1 I played a lot during the first 2 weeks it came out and I got bored. I love BF1, but for some reason I enjoyed BF4 more. P.S. I played BF4 in 2016 not in 2013.

Guess this video was created too early to account for how impressive Ubisoft Massive's complete overhaul of Tom Clancy's The Division brought its playerbase back almost to launch levels and made it objectively far more rewarding and fun to play.

I knew it was shitty before I even played it but I gave it a chance and It still sucked major ass lmao never again will I touch that garbage. With the fuckin terrible launch of Battlefield 4, it's such a surprise with all the hype Battlefield One got. I waited a few weeks to buy Battlefield One, just to be sure, but man that game did NOT disappoint.

Bf1 still has ton of gameplay breaking glitches which DICE said will fix in the upcoming patch and that never happened. They only changed the icon you see when you want to pick a squad and idk what else. There are a lot of revive bugs and bayonet charge glitches and shit. But hey, that's just Frostbite - the best looking engine but also the worst in terms of gameplay. Nevermind all that, I sti enjoy Bf1.

Taylor W the game just came out though and like bf4 launch, it's not at its best state yet(but WAY better than bf4's launch) and may become better than battlefield 4 over time with free content and stuff

BF3 is the last one I thoroughly enjoyed. The newer ones get stale too fast. I already have virtually no reason to return to BF1. I played a lot of BF4, but it honestly felt like a downgrade in terms of gameplay.

, ninjalemurdude Yeah, I don't enjoy the ww1 setting, I get they wanted to do something different, but I honestly can't stand the weapons or vehicles. Most are crazy inaccurate ( I know that's the point) , but it's just so bland compared to bf4 imo.

Taylor W I actually like the setting, my problem is that there's no progression. The only things you really have to try to unlock are the final guns for each class, and even that doesn't take to long and is just an XP grind. I miss having to do challenges to unlock the different guns and gadgets.

I honestly feel the opposite, I enjoyed Hardline more than BF4 personally. BF1 is the most fun I've had in a Battlefield game since BC2, possibly the best FPS I've played since then too. There are some minor issues like the UI and medal system but I feel like the game can only get better from here, everything seems a lot more balanced than BF4. The overabundance of weapons + attachments, annoying and easy to use vehicles and mediocre maps are my main gripes with BF4. It's a good game, don't get me wrong, I just found it lackluster. Maybe it's because the modern military setting was so overdone at the time, I'm just thankful the franchise went into a new and risky direction.

I just started playing (tried with free weekend, and bought it) and love it. I was hesitant though because of the HORRID reviews, but it's a stand up game imo. I've talked to a few people in game that have played since beta and they all said how bad it used to be and how much work has been put into it. So yeah, I agree with you.

SalsaSpartan7 Shouldn't be, really! You can be proud but really, it was never a bad game. Repetitive, yes. Bland story, yes. Awful system (RNG), yes. Re-skinned everything? Yep. Slow release what cost extra money despite the fact it should've been in there in the first place... But, they kind of fixed the major surface issues. Still kinda repetitive BUT the first time you play it is magnificent. The PVE is amazing! The way they tackled the large group raiding that was only really done on MMORPGs was beautiful! It wasn't just about the gear you had and how well you could shoot things. There were strategies and things to work out on your own and the game rarely held your hand through anything. I'd recommend playing it if you got a PS4 or Xbox 1 and have a few friends who you can play it with cause playing it with friends is amazing! Give it a go. Not gunna sell it for ya or argue with you over anything but I'm just recommending it and letting you know that WatchMojo were right to put it on this list! If you're into the sorta thing, at least give the demo a try.

The Destiny franchise is one of the biggest scams in gaming history. If you've read the 10 year contract Bungie and Activision signed, you'd understand that Activision has final say on nearly all decisions involving content, and finances. And gamers will be forced to continually pay for basically the same game, with limited story, (of course you can read the story online, because it's 2016, and video games are years away from coherent cutscenes and voice acting) and beta expansion packs that will be required to continue playing, also microtransactions, because paying 160 or more for in incomplete game without a comprehensive story is letting gamers off easy. Basically, Marvel 's cinematic universe will have completed the the following events; creation of the Avengers, Age of Ultron, Guardians of the Galaxy creation, Civil War, Doctor Strange bargaining Dormammu, Doctor Strange bargaining with Dormarmmu, Doctor Strange bargaining with Dormammu, Doctor Strange bargaining with Dormammu, Doctor Strange bargaining with Dormammu, Doctor Strange bargaining with Dormammu, Doctor Strange bargaining with Dormammu , Thor Ragnarok event, and the epic Infinity war event. And Destiny will have only released a sequel and mandatory expansion crap without a legit story. Master Chief is rolling in his grave.

Activision are some of the dumbest shits I have ever seen in a gaming company. They ruined COD pretty much, they fucked up destiny, and the stupid micro transactions. Let Bungie take the helm and not be the one company people play for the game.

Shadysif As you said, it's activision. They're just a shit company. If it was Bungie calling the shots, the game'd be much better. And in all honesty, it deserves a place on this list cause it has improved dramatically! But those activision scum are milking it for every penny it's worth. I just hope that when Destiny 2 releases, they realise that they royally fucked up with the first one and take a different approach. If not, I don't know what to say. I'll still play it definitely cause the first one is my favourite game of all time (well, one of them) and I don't want to constantly pay cash just to get the value of the £40-£50 I already initially paid for. But yeah, it's a scam. Though, it works. Sad to say that Activision's approach to how they handle destiny may inspire other studios to do the same. Overhype a video game, lie about it, charge full price at release and slowly re-introduce the content what should've been in since the beginning. Glad that they won't be able to do the same with Destiny 2. Since its confirmed to be on the PC, anything they release from the start but what they don't give us access to, PC players can look into the files and call them out on any content with proof that Activision are conning them. So, fingers crossed it doesn't happen again...

What about Halo: The Master Chief Collection? Although, It might be an unpopular Opinion, Halo MCC is actually pretty stable now. Although Often you are unable to find a game and have to quit just to play it, the games frame rate has gotten better and crashes are minimal. The Only problem is that by September 2016, Halo MCC is long forgotten with an extremely minimal online player count something Vital for a game like Halo. If only 343 hadn't jumped the gun releasing the Master Chief Collection. They should have released just Halo 2 Remastered Company and Halo Anniversary Online! (I want to play BTB in Halo 2, but nobody ever picks it!) the game would most likely have far less problems, giving 343 the Opportunity to release Halo MCC with Halo 3 anniversary in 2017. But Even If they did release Halo 3 Anniversary next year, It would easily kill off any remaining dedicated players of MCC, ruining the Halo CE and 2's legacy for good.

Killzone Shadow Fall should have been number 1. Its an amazing game, but it launched without VOIP, clans, or dev servers. With 18 months of support Guerrilla added 17 new maps, coop, a new class, 3 new weapons, 3 new abilities, an in-game point system to get paid cosmetic DLC for free (all of it!) as well as a scavenger hunt sidequest added to every official mp server. Its a stunning game now, you should play it.

I'd switch number 2 and 1, because FFXIV is almost an engine overhaul. Reducing graphic quality, lead-designer and crew changes, ALL of the UIs, most battle system, reworked all the maps, makes it a console game and actually put a related story in the change(as in destroying the city in 1.0 in opening cinematics and makes a storyline about it on 2.0). Truly, the sweetest comeback in gaming history. Imo anyway~

SimCity, like with Cities XL. I never get the HATE it has gotten. For both games I've been there since the ALPHA mode. And yes it was just, HORRIBLE to play (Though the online mode really added some fun chats with people. The ending of the online mode on Cities XL will forever be in my mind as it was the most joy I've ever got in a game.). But today, I am still playing both games. Offcourse the newest versions and latest updates. But both games are so amazing today. The music makes you play for hours. The still online mode in SimCity is actually still fun. You can do so much, go on for so long. Sadly for them though, when I can play Cities Skylines however. I will probally stop playing the games. (Yeah PC is not strong enough). Because damn that game is amazing. (I could play it for the first few days...Played really hours without breaks...). I started playing Simcity in 2003 or so. And didn't stop playing it since. Played 1/2000/3/4/5/mobile versions/online versions...Cities XL did the same. I just so much love building cities. As I always did when I was younger in the sandbox near the school or drawed on paper everywhere (Still do this, drawing like crazy). So yeah, the Simcity (basically the whole city building experience) has gone from, reasonable to GREAT. With some bad ones down the road off course. But yeah, no perfection is reached without faults.

Diablo 3? Wut? Builds got less diverse because damage buffs are exponential. Auction house got removed. It's an item-grind game and they removed trading. There's no endgame (to be fair, there was no endgame when it came out either). We still don't have the structured pvp that was supposed to be there upon the vanilla release. Diablo 3, like most post-2009 Blizzard games, actually got WORSE over time. At any given time only about 100 people are logged on in public games across all difficulties. That's fucking pathetic.

CS:GO was definitely what I expected at #1. For the first while there were more people playing the last two version of counter strike. Now it regularly hits 800k simultaneous players and is the most popular shooter in world. Right up there for e-sports viewership as well.

***** No they are not, they are just renamed. Instant Action is called Skirmish; CFT is called Cargo; Command Post are called Control Point; Conquest is now called Supremacy; Hero Assault is Heroes versus Villians. I could keep going on, but you get the point. We even got new game-modes that have never been in any Battlefront. At launch the game was lacking, but currently it has more maps, game-modes, customization, than all the previous titles. And Dice recently announced even more content.

I don't know if it has anything to do with the older games in the franchise. I think Battlefront at launch was just, in general, a watered down experience. If it had felt like a complete, fun game at launch, I bet a lot fewer people would still bother to compare it to its predecessors. You'll notice a lot of the games on this list improved by having vast overhauls to the functionality of the game or the addition of free, new content. I think it got left off this list because EA's approach to improving Battlefront was almost exclusively through paid DLC. For most, DLC is always considered optional, which is why I think people like me weren't surprised to find the game on sale for $7.49 on the playstation store this weekend lol.

Rainbow Six Siege is definitely on the Games that got way better overtime. At the beginning it was horrid, ranked was messed up, bugs everywhere, bad communication with Devs etc. IT IS STILL NOT PERFECT, with server crashes and such, but the actual game, mechanics, and community improved as the season went on. If they literally fix their server issues, Ubisoft would have of the best tactical shooters in the history of gaming.

Ok, so how did destiny get better post launch. We as the player had to throw money to the dlc in order to proceed to the next level and if you didnt have the dlc the game would be boring and is forcing players to spend it with real money. Not only that it was the most repetitive shit and git boring pretty easy as hell. I stopped playing destiny when Taken King came out as it cost $80 just for the dlc which i couldve got a game and i did, not only that Rise of Irons came out shortly which we had to spend another what $40 by that time i was already playing Halo and just gave up on destiny as you must spend money to lv up, Was the same thing over and over again and the pvp was broken.

SymptoNz x Shortly? Rise of Iron was a full 370 days after The Taken King. And yes, it's crap they made us pay for the content what we already paid for but let's hope they can improve with Destiny 2. They leaving the mess that was Destiny One behind and focusing solely on Destiny Two. With few staff to manage Destiny One and emplace events to keep players there while they wait for Destiny Two :3
