At conventions due to being a dedicated time to play and not just a typical evening I like the opportunity to play longer games which normally came played in the evening.

Being an uncle is awesome, I'm around your age and am also single with a sibling that has a daughter. My niece is 10 now and, mostly because of me, has a pretty sick board game collection. It is so fun to introduce her to new games as she gets older. I recently played Azul with my Mom Sister and Niece. Everyone loved it. We are having dinner together tonight and I'm bringing Ticket to Ride. I've played it with my Sister and Niece before and will be introducing it to my Mom and Brother in law. EDIT: Also can confirm that Papa Murphy's is a great cook at home pizza place in NorCal.

Looks like I’ll see you at Strat. Yah, I am the same. When I go to a convention, I have made quite a few convention friends. I want to try to get in time with everyone. So, getting stuck playing a big game takes away from that. I want to get to play with all my friends -New and Old. Also, Congrats on little Murph!!
