fightspace3b is the best for me.It has a lot of space for me to test mods and have fun (the water is what makes it better for me) and the design is really good.

inside the tunnel/platform in gm_flatgrass there is a room where u will see that there is a doll and the lights blink in and blink out

That's not a blood river, it's the skybox reflection, water is normal

Your only problem with flatgrass is the structure in the middle. So the best map is one that has nothing in it in your opinion, nothing but empty space.

Flight space 3b is just an extended version of freespace
