I can not stress enough how important and resin efficent doing a daily artifact route is! You can use that fodder on the strongbox, potentially saving you thousands of Resin in the process. Also you can use the Parametric Transformer to get various things. It's roughly ~40 resin a week. Thanks as always F2P Archon!
@Ra_zins using 5 stars to upgrade shouldn't even be considered. But honestly i don't see how an average player runs out of upgrade fodder by just doing domains. I'm literally farming for perfection so i defo roll things i shouldn't and im still entirely fine in terms of fodder.
@@Shadow-sk1oj sorry i worded it poorly, i was in a rush. Basically what he said. Many people use 5-star artifacts as level up fodder, that should be used in the strongbox (if possible) and the already leveled artifacts that had poor rolls fed to the artifact selector. There's a video by Jyo called 'how much time should you spend artifact farming?' where he does a bunch of calculations, i highly recommend giving it a watch.
My artifact route gives me 85k worth of artefact exp, 142 spots including sumeru bubbles, chasm pot, Fontaine potx3, 7 NTlan birds. My count for artefact exp is 1 resin = 600 exp from domains not counting 3 stars because you should strongbox them. So 141 resin worth of artefact exp per day.
As a free2play player I do agree. I love to explore the map, honestly I am excited to explore the new map in 5.2 rather than pulling for the characters until 5.3 (Mavuika) I have been collecting characters that I want (I have at least 1 dps character for every element: Alhaitham/Kinich, Arlecchino, Mualani, Navia, Ayaka, Raiden, Wanderer) and because of that, I am now focusing more on supports because they are most versatile and can be used to different teams (I have Kazuha (my first ever limited 5 star back in version 2.8) Xilonen currently, etc. Now I am saving for the Pyro Archon to synergize with either my Mualani or Kinich having Xilonen on their team.
Have never pulled on the weap banner so all of their weapons are refined 3 stars and 4 stars only. And never had a problem 36 starring the abyss for such a f2p like me. Note: Just sharing my f2p experience.
Same. I have Aquila and Skyward Blade from Standard pulls and that's it. 5 star weapons make clears easier, but are not necessary for abyss or theatre.
@@Mr.Mondstadt yeah, as long as you built your characters correctly (I built all of my characters with their 4 pcs set signature artifacts to reach at least their full f2p potential.
A huge issue I have as an F2P is that the best supports in the game are almost all characters I happen to dislike as characters. I literally pulled Freedom-Sworn as a joke because my friend said I should as a joke, and it looks pretty on Lynette (Got it in 20 pulls). The daily artifact route is so nice (I did my own configuration of it, but it's still so helpful).
@@animeworld4249 do it on Ar 30, this is where it starts hard difficulty, I recommend you to build Kaeya and Lisa, Amber you level her to its lesser (20)
The main problem (well said in the video) is that people wants literally every single new stuff which is released, and content creators usually tend to increase people's hype with some videos like "NEW GOD DPS BEATS THE GAME" "80K WITH NO SUPPORTS OMGGG", I mean, let's say you already have a well built Hu Tao, with a full well built team, you already clear 36 stars Abyss and you even got her Homa or/and c1, there is LITERALLY no reason that you must get Arlecchino just because the content creator you're watching said she is better and clear faster (unless you really like her for personal reasons, like design, voice actor, etc.), at the end of the day you just bench Hu Tao because everyone is saying Arle is better and, of course, you wanna belong to the BEST OP CHARACTER COMMUNITY, even if everything was fine for 2 years with your Hu Tao. Then, whenever a new random pyro dps is released you just bench Arlecchino, and so on. The game is not made to have everything and build everything, there is literally no resin, World Boss drops and LUCK into artifacts domains to get every single character to their max. What happens then with most of the players who just pull for everything, they end up with 30 characters super op but with mediocre builds which are not the ones they see in their favorite RU-vid Genshin Channels (Kazuhas with 400 em and no energy at all, Furinas with level 6 ult, Yelans with 116 E.R, Arlecchinos with 1400 attack and 130 C.D.....) etc, etc, etc. Pick a character, save and get them. Build them, make them work with a good team, and THEN think about the next one. In case the newest one is said to be stronger than yours, it literally doesn't matter at all since you can already face everything the game has to offer you. This is my take in this great video, thank you.
Yeah, I'm also more for quality over quantity. I don't like sharing artifacts or weapons, so it would be almost impossible to build multiple dps of the same element for me.
I'm struggling so badly. I'm at 60 pity, 5 fates, and i wanna save for Zhongli and Mavuika. Definitely doable. But at the same time, i hear Neuvilette is a top tier hydro main dps, and gods, my Xilonen would love to have a word with him😩 At the same time, Chasca can literally fly on her huge revolver. And you expect me to be able to save? Finally, Nahida. I'm not a fan of the super small female characters, but at the same time, she's the best dendro applicator and likely will continue to be for years to come. Maaan. I must stay strong. But it's so difficult. The fear of missing out for like a year is hard to deal with
@giadaaaaa deffo will try. If i win Zhongli's 50/50, i'll spend at most 20-30 summons on him. The rest that i manage to scoop up until then will be dumped on Neuvi in hopes of getting him. If i lose Zhong/Neuvi 50/50, i'm screwed. I need Mavuika, man💀
[Sorry for the loooong text] Sound like resource management issue. If you are constantly out of wishes, then the game and the FOMO have won. My recommendation is to look at the hole roster of characters and determine which ones you like the most (for whatever reasons, could be that they are visually stunning, you like their VA, they're easy to use, etc) and then look for teams for that chatacters. If multiple of your favorite characters fit in the same team, great; otherwise, determine which characters would help you complete the teams for the characters you like. Then save, save, and save for those characters. For example, I love Kokomi and Nilou, and to play them together I need Nahida, so I've been saving for her. This game is about resource and information management, control that and you'll have the most fun because you'll have the characters you love.
Chasca is not a meta character, unless you really like her she's an easy skip. Nahida and Neuvilette are not, they are great account value. Zhongli isn't technically a meta character either, just a super comfort one, good for bow users, Mualani, etc but Layla, Kirara, Thoma, Diona, C1 Beidou, C4 Yanfei, upcoming Citlali etc will provide good enough shields.
It's not completely accurate about weapons banners. It's not well-known but the pity for weapons banners is at 77. Soft pity starts at 63 and ramps up until it becomes 100% at 77. On average, only about 11% of wishes go past wish 70. For characters it starts at 74 and ramps up until 100% is reached at 90, so that one the playerbase got it right. On average, less than 10% of wishes go past wish 80.
I keep hearing people say this, but I completely disagree that the weapon banner is a scam. Maybe, but this game basically requires good weapons. Your character is completely gimped without a five-star or highly refined four star.
I started playing again 2 months ago and farmed 300 wishes, I spent 250 on xilonen c2 r1 with the cash back from the paimon store and primos, I have 88 wishes and I'm collecting at least 200 wishes for the next support if mavuika is a support pyro I intend get c1 r1 my supports make my ayaka c0 cause enough damage to destroy the abyss
Also, sorry to disappoint, I don't mean to hate but these are all beginner tips. Maybe some older players still go around pulling whenever at the drop of a hat, but they're just older players, not more advanced players. You won't find anything satisfying, anyone who reached close to endgame would know about all of this. Once again, no hate but this is pure clickbait.
I just could not help myself. I am a free to play and started this year but all these characters look so good. I pulled Furina then pulled Kazuha then pulled Xilonen C2 and then I even pulled peak patrol and mitsugiri for my furia xilonen combo. Now I am completely out of primogems for Mavuika. T_T send help please.
You need to control the urge to pull for everything. Prioritize your favorite characters and save in advance, never use all your wishes. Leaks will help you to know which banners come next weeks in advance, so you can manage your resources nicely.
@@iNovak-HSR Well I do that actually but it just so happened that they gave such insanely useful characters for my teams 1 and 2 so I got them. I basically only pull 5 stars for teams 1 and 2 and any other team will have to do with whatever 4 stats I get on the way. Now my main team with Furina Xilonen both with 5 weapons deal so much damage. Furina outDPS my Noelle who is supposed to be the main dps by a lot. I hit 40k damage per swing with Noelle and then Furina does like 70k hits from the off field without me doing anything except press her skill and burst.
