Blair was the heart of the show. Yes she did sketchy things and had no real moral compass (lol) but she was also the hero that saved her loved ones like Chuck, Serena and Nate over and over again. She's an authentic anti-heroine. You laughed and cried with her and always rooted for her. She definitely deserved number 1. Chuck had the greatest development and journey of any character. He went from unrepentant bad boy lothario to devoted husband and father. His last words on screen are "It was all Blair" Doesn't that say it all? This was the perfect video to post for their 10th Limoversary on November 7th! Thank you so much! :)

I really liked Rufus at the beginning of the show, but then he started getting mad at almost everything. I remember he got mad at Lily over something and they didnt talk for a few episodes. Him and Jenny are my least favorite characters on the show.

Even though I'm a guy , I'am the biggest sucker for teen dramas. I never watched it when it was airing on the CW . I watched all 6 seasons on Netflix and I loved it .

In the first seasons I liked Dan, but really?? He shouldn't even be on the list

Blair and Chuck are obviously the right choices for 1 and 2. Even if you don't find Chuck interesting without her he's still more interesting than any other character so lol at some of these comments.

Nate was definitely super underrated. He never sent in any posts to gossip girl, and genuinely cared for all his family and friends. Wish the producers gave him more of a story arch.

The Top 4 is perfect but I would put Georgina in Dan's spot and put him lower. At least Nate was hot and sweet. Chuck is one of the best characters for sure. He grew so much But Blair is Queen and deserves number 1.

Totally agree with this list!!😃 Blair is the heart of the show and Chuck, despite his flaws earlier on has the greatest development and we were all rooting for him in the end❤️ I love how Vanessa wasn't on this list at all😂 I think there should have been a mention about how great Lily was because she became a wonderful parent figure to Chuck and she always stuck by him💞 I would LOVE to see a top 10 Gossip Girl couples!!!

They got the bit about Serena staying out of catfights wrong , because it felt like she and Blair had petty catfights all the time and then the actual physical fight lol.

Why does everyone hate Jenny? She's by no means my favorite character, but she brings something interesting to the show. Jenny was really the only one who challenged Blair. She was able to get under her skin the way no other character could which was interesting to watch onscreen.

Chuck out of Everyone actually matured and had a complete character change from high school times

All these people saying that Georgina should be lower on the list just because she is an "evil bitch", that's exactly why she is one of the best characters on the show, she actually deserves a higher place. She is a psychotic, fucked-in-the-head, "mean girl" type villain who takes pleasure in causing chaos, gleeful at the thought of causing trouble and ruining the characters' lives, and she does it all with a devilish smile on her face, also, she is the ultimate schemer (sorry Blair). And of course, hugely elevated by Michelle Trachtenberg's brilliant, scenery chewing performance, nailing the character's sharp humor and delivering some of the best one-liners on the show. Georgina Sparks is one the most underrated TV villains, period.

5. DAN? really? He was one of the most important characters on this show. Nate became irrelevant after season 2. And serena? Also not that important after season 3. Top 3: Blair, Dan and Chuck. Season 4-6 Love Triangle. Nobody cared about serena or nate at that time.

Just because they're a main character in the entire series doesn't make them a requirement for this list. By the series end Dan seemed to be the most HATED character and with good reason. I honestly would have rather never found out GG's true identity and for the series to have just ended with the iconic "And who am I? That's one secret I'll never tell. You know you love me xoxo Gossip Girl" I never even finished season 6 after finding out Dan was GG I just watched the Chuck and Blair scenes and said good riddance to the show.

Jenny was interesting because she starts off a sweet girl next door who becomes a true Queen and possibly the only girl who could go up against Blair. After Jenny left the show died.

Absolutely loved that show but at one point I mainly watched it only because of Chuck and Blair- the golden couple of the show. I honestly felt that they had their own bubble, a world of their own and they had an AMAZING chemistry and a great relationship development :-) loved their journey from season 1 till the end in season 6. However it's a shame that after season 2 the writers got a bit lazy with the writing. Season 3 was different than 1&2- interesting enough to watch but also marked the beginning of the show going downhill. I kinda expected something else since season 3 and it just went all wrong with some really bad storylines (not all of them) some I just disliked, some were delusional and some I absolutely hated like the one when Blair dated Dan-I completely deny that one. I think that some of lessons the characters had to learn could have been delivered in different ways.

I know a lot of people disliked Jenny but to be honest I really liked her her character was different and interesting along with her character arc I was very upset when she stopped becoming a regular because she was just so interesting whether it be the Jenny who worshipped Blair or the Jenny who tried to get emancipated she was honestly the best
