Top 10 Greatest Batman Villains 

I’m glad you put Ra’s at 3. This also goes to show that Arrow had no business using him since they didn’t understand the character at all. I’m a little shocked that you didn’t have Hugo Strange or Clayface in Catwoman’s place. That’s mainly due to nowadays she’s a love interest. With that being said great list. 👍🏿

I approve of Bane in the top 3. Everyone knows he broke the Bat but not enough credit goes to his intellect. Bane both deduced Batman’s identity and then orchestrated a massive scheme to wear Batman out so Bane could actually catch him off guard, something no one else ever does.

Its honestly maddening that most of Batmans most iconic villains do deserve to be backend of top 10 Aside from Joker or Bane none of them have had that same level of iconic storylines. What alwaus frustrates me the most is the potential Two-Face has as a villain. I think if done right he couldve been as firmly cemented as Batmans 2nd best villain as Joker is cemented as Batmans first. The tragic nature or Harvey Dent. The friendship with Bruce and Gordon. The hope that the city had in Harvey. When Harvey falls, his descent marks a new age for Gotham. The rise of the freaks and gimmicks. I imagine Harvey is the last main villain to show up aside from Ra's or Court of Owls. Everytime Two-Face escapes from Arkham of whatnot it should be a punch in the face to Gotham. Being reminded of where their hope went Unfortunately no one has really done anything with the character

I also enjoy a little psychedelic impact from Mad Hatter time to time. He gave great sidequests in the Arkham games and was a good supporter in the Gotham show. Buscemi would have been the perfect casting choice when he was younger, nowadays maybe Ke Huy Quan.

I think it is a crime that you put the Riddler so low I think he should be a top three character. Also, I feel that being, although the back brake is iconic is probably a bottom half character for me. I also think the dichotomy of to face and his previous relationship with Bruce Wayne is very fascinating and should not be overlooked as a top four character.

The Penguin is either a great mix of the old Batman villains (the mob and stuff) and the 2nd gen villains aka crazy characters. Two-face is either a mix, but diff, as he was on the opposite side of the mob, it fits the duality. There still hasn't been a good live action adaptation of Bane, what is a shame. But i have some bias, as he is mine fav Batman villain.

I definitely thought deathstroke would be on this list due to robins connection to him, which made some problems, not to mention he’s just a good fight over all

Gotta disagree a bit. Batman's rogues gallery is unrivaled. Several are as well or more well known in the mainstream as most superheros in DC or Marvel. The Joker has to be as ubiquitous as Batman Superman or Spiderman
