Well... i'm not really a sportive or whatever else, but i'm just pissed of than they quote only "american" sports like hokey, football, baseball... But if YOU have favorite duo, please share with us ;) . P.S sorry for my english
Colby Kozier Because they don't come even close to duos like Kane and Toews. But maybe they should have been given some credit since they're complete shit without each other.
The Duppe Kane and Toews aren't a duo, they don't play on the same line, just two great players on the same team. The sedins are closing in on 1000 points and pretty much every point they've had is with each other.
The Duppe actually when daniel went down in 2009 for 20 games Henrik stepped up won the art Ross and hart trophy. check your facts but of course they are so easy to bash for bandwagon hockey fans
ramzi1979 Bandwagon hockey fan? So I like hockey because it's doing well or because everyone else does? What? Do you even know what a bandwagon fan is, or did you just mean to say that I don't actually know anything about hockey? That would be wrong too tho. And that is one good season for him. One. 7 years ago. Nowadays they can't do shit without each other.

I usually don't agree with the lists from watch mojo, but I never write or complain because, let's face it, no point. It just surprises me that a work that should involve extensive research on a subject didn't came up with the duo Pele and Garrincha and out of no where could pull Xavi and Iniesta. I don't even want to compare numbers, because if I do it wouldn't be fair with the spaniards. I leave you with just one glimpse. Pele and Garrincha played together for the Brazilian National Football Team 40 times. They won 90% of the games, and NEVER LOST. Congratz to the research department of WM...missed that.
Buster Posey and Madison Bumgarner? 3 World Series Buster: Rookie of the Year, MVP, multiple all star games, silver slugger. Madison: Multiple All star games, silver slugger, one of the greatest postseason performers ever. And they're both in their late 20s.
why would i want to? american football and ice hockey are way more dangerous btw, and i dont think that henry and bergkamp were the sole reason for (for example) 5 titles in a row
Basketball, baseball, football they're all "real" sports. Just because they're not there doesn't mean they weren't great. They're just not on this list that people with their OWN opinions. They're still a great duo but not on this list.
Honestly there's a lot of duos should be mentioned Brett Hull and Adam Oates is a good ones as well. Look at the numbers of the two in the early 90's season of the St. Louis Blues.
They were rivals more than anything, but you're right in the sense they cleaned up completely for a couple of years. MP4/4 and MP4/5 were both pretty dominant cars and with the two best steerers of their generation in them, well.. We know how it went.
Torres + Gerrard Gerrard + Alonso Mahrez + Vardy Henry + Bergkamp Rooney + Ronaldo Vidic + Ferdinand Shearer + Sutton The list is endless. WatchMojo with its Hockey bias.
Like I've said before, if you allow football entries, football fans won't shut up until every single entry is about football. Football fans are the cancer of the sports world in that way, they're so arrogant and high on football's popularity that they think other sports are not allowed to exist.
Gretzky only won the Stanley Cup 4 times ever, all in Edmonton before he was traded. Kurri went on to win a 5th Stanley Cup in Edmonton after Gretzky was traded. Kurri was no slouch, even playing without Gretzky, Kurri is in the top 20 in NHL all time scoring and is also an NHL Hall of Famer.
+Slapshot Gaming I think the fact the Malkin is overshadowed by Crosby and they almost never play on the same line where Toews and Kane do about half the time.
Really? Cups don’t matter? The hockey duos on this list all have multiple cups clearly the Sedins aren’t comparable because they weren’t good enough to propel their teams to any cups. Clearly not that great of a duo
Trevor Rogers Cups are a team accomplishment you nitwit. So is Carey Price not one of the greatest goalies of all-time? Bure not one of the best scorers of all time?
So you mean to tell me Chicago would’ve won their cups without Toews and Kane ? Pittsburgh would’ve won their cups without Crosby and Malkin? Same goes for all great duos, without them their team never would’ve won a championship.
No arguments here on number 1! No player has assisted on more of the great one's 893 goals than Kurri! Here's some other hockey dynamic duos that weren't mentioned: Sidney Crosby and Evgeni Malkin Scott Stevens and Scott Niedermayer Bobby Orr and Phil Esposito
What do you mean Stockton and Malone dont make the top 10? The definition of great chemistry. Also, Nash and Stoudemire could be in the Honorable Mentions, as well as George Best and Bobby Charlton...
Xavi and Iniesta should be number one. They combined domestic and international success in an unprecedented way in their sport. The same could perhaps only be said about Jordan and Pippin, but international football/soccer is way more competitive than international basketball.
Bakkies Botha and Victor Matfield lock pairing for not only the Blue Bulls Rugby franchise but also for the Springboks, the South African National team. Together they won the Currie Cup, Super Rugby and the 2007 RWC.
...you're not even trying. Your sports lists are the worsts. You couldn't find any tennis double teams? (Leconte-Forget) Any WRC duo? (Loeb-Elena) Any F1 pilot and wingman? (Schumacher-Barichello) Anyone from handball, rugby, swimming, volley, ...?
I get that Lemiuex and Jagr are already there, but Malkin and Crosby have been much more offensively dominating the game compared to kane and toews. And none of these guys play together. HOW can Toews and Kane be considered a duo when Toews partner in crime has been Hossa, with Kane suiting up with whoever gets the second line center job.
I know, I'm saying that if they are going to include players who DON'T play together in the nhl, Crosby and Malkin have been better than Kane and Toews. Now honestly NONE of these guys whould be on this list, but since watch mojo is including players who don't play on the same line Malkin and Crosby are more appropriate.
+Intrinsik_ Perry has been consistent in scoring but is trending in the wrong direction and Getzlaf was only good because of Perry and Bobby Ryan. They only have one cup between the two of them too. So many other better duos
How is Stockton and Malone just an honorable mention? I wouldn't have been surprised if they were Number 1. Best passer in NBA history+ 2nd best scorer in NBA history = the best duo ever. No question.
I know this is a bit late but I'm pretty sure one of the greatest all time sports duos had to the Soviet Red Army's Boris Mikhailov and Valeri Kharlamov. I know it's not exactly cool to honor a soviet team as an american, but you have to give these guys credit, together they won 3 olympic medal (2 gold, 1 silver) and dominated world championships with 8 gold medals, 2 silver medals, and a bronze. They even took home the NHL challenge cup in 79 and are still very prevalent in the olympic record book.
Ngl and this has happened. But imagine being a 49er fan and you have Jerry Rice, Terrell Owens, Joe Montana as your QB and Steve Young as your backup. To put that in perspective all those people are top 5 EVER in their positions as players respectively.
Joe Montana and Jerry Rice of the 49ers .Were quite the teammates back in the 80's ,Since there team was one of best teams in the NFL .And sure hope are on the list seen they had such a winning team back then .
Best duos in Hockey this 2017/18 Season. 1: Crosby Malkin 2: McDavid Draisaitl 3: Ovechkin Backstrom 4: Benn Seguin 5: Kane Toews 6: Tavares Eberle 7: Hall Hischier
