Fuтuяе Sтяаиge It was obvious he was gonna die just based on the trailer but Wolverine was played by Hugh Jackman for 17 years so just seeing that and having pretty much one of my child hood heroes die was really sad for me.
I nearly lost it in the final act when Adam's character was sprawled out on the street screaming after his son in vain, I'd have cried like a bitch if the son hadn't turned around in that moment and they had just drove off like I thought they were gonna do. The way the scene ended up playing out still managed to get me choked up though.
Well I myself cry every damn time at the scene when Frodo and Sam are talking after destroying the ring. When they say they won't make it and reminds Shire. I know how it end and all but still it gets me.
Aaron Romero bruh me too!!! My younger brother looked over at me when Laura called Logan "daddy" I was crying and he was like "I know man....😢I know😭😭😭"
forest gump made my dad (who served multiple times in deployments around the world, and didn't even cry at my grand moms funeral) started to cry when we all watched forest gump.
The thing with Marley & Me is that it is predictable. Barely 10 minutes into the film, and there's only one possible ending that makes sense. It follows one of three main animal movie plots: 1. Animal(s) lost, finds way home. 2. Animal is abused, finds new loving owner, has to choose between two owners in the end, obviously chooses loving owner. 3. Animal(s) dies. There are a few exceptions to the rules, my personal favorite being Hachi. That movie completely flipped the switch and made the human die, thus making you watch the animal grieve instead of the other way around. Hachi is a much more deserving mention here, in my opinion.
Marley & Me is definitely on my list. Yeah its predictable, but its a pretty simple film. Its the story of a lifetime of a dog that most people have experienced in their past, which is why it is so easy to get emotional watching it
Different strokes for different folks, as they say. It just didn't appeal to me, as I felt it was a tired old trope. I've yet to see A Dog's Purpose, but I look forward to that one because, again, it's a unique premise in an otherwise predictable film genre. Not saying Marley & Me isn't a good film (I did enjoy it), but it's just all too familiar. It brings nothing new to the table, and follows a tried and true pattern. To me, it's like the Nickleback of animal movies. The talent exists, it's just all too formulaic.

I don't understand how Hachi wasn't on the list! This movie, especially the scene where the dog was waiting at the end, was the only one that really got me bawling my eyes out lol. I did get a little bit teary-eyed for the ending of Furious 7 as well.
You do realize a grand majority of guys grew up with the franchise as well as the fact many of guys, such as myself, developed either a new sense of appreciation for cars and well as helped us solidify the belief in family and friends? I am aware a lot of people won’t agree with it but many of people I know(grand majority) have had some significant memory with the franchise
Although I know Christian movies get a bad rap, the Kendricks Brothers movie "Facing the Giants" is a stellar movie about family, failure, teamwork and faith. I hate football, but there is a scene where I had my arms raised in the "uprights" position with tears streaming down my face. Another incredible, tear-inducing Kendricks Brothers movie is "Courageous", which is one of my husband's favorites.
Oh man. ''Field of Dreams'' hit the spot right there, ninjas cutting onions to the max. As well as the Noble prize ceremony speech at the end of ''A Beautiful Mind'', and Snowden's face at the end of ''Snowden''.
How could you guys leave out the death of Boromir in Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring?! The death and redemption of Darth Vader in Star Wars: Return of the Jedi? That scene where Luke say, "I have to save you." And his father says, "You already have." Gets me everytime. I'm even tearing up, just writing about it this moment, right now, lol! Another incredibly powerful moment from LOTR is in Return of the King. Between Frodo & Sam. The "I can't carry the ring for you. But I can carry you!" scene...
T2 made me and my fellow soldiers cry. A father figure hugging you, letting them know you understand them, and then being lured into molten metal. Terminator2 was phenomenal.
Anyone who asks why I love Intersteller, this video perfectly explains why. Also how is Vego Mortenson's "The Road" not on this list, the tale of a man and his son surviving a post apocalyptic world hits the feels everytime and the ending had me crying more than I've ever cried in any movie.
My top 10 10. The field of dreams 9. My dog skip 8. Logan 7. The champ 6. Dead man walking 5. Terminator 2 4. Furious 7 3. Hardball 2. The green mile 1. Old yeller/where the red ferns grow
Lewigicfc99 Oh Christ that was hard....but beautiful. The stinger with the Mexican fed shooting the "big bad" at the end helped me not be as sad. Fuck that guy.
Top 20 Saving Private Ryan Hachiko:A dog's story The pursuit of happiness Gladiator Toy Story 3 Call me by your name(maybe? Not sure but i cried and im straight) Avengers: End Game Schindler's list Up Bohemian Rhapsody Hon'ble mentions: Into the wild (It was emotional for me idk bout y'all) Finding Nemo Life is beautiful The shawshank redemption
Because it appeals to a broader audience where a good chunk of the movies here market towards male dominated audiences (see sports). It's not to say women don't watch these movies, but rather these movies are probably more likely to be seen by a guy as opposed to, say, Titanic.
Gladiator, Braveheart, Seven Pounds, Pursuit of Happiness, Into the Wild, Life is Beautiful, The Sixth Sense, Leon: The Professional, Toy Story 3, Grave of the Fireflies, The Elephant Man, I am Sam, Schindler's List, The Shawshank Redemption, and etc! Why non of these movies are on this list?
The Pursuit of Happiness & Hachiko, no matter how hard I tried.. how many times I’ve watched this two movies.... I will ended up crying like a baby. Oh & “Your Name” too..
seriously I have seen most of these movies but furious 7 touched everyone all over the world, all the other movies weren't based on real life or a death and that speech from vin diesel in the end was so heartbreaking he was literally crying. Paul Walker's death was something else seeing a man dying in his 40's with a little girl left without a dad. But most important he was so humble and wanted to live his life to the fullest one of the best to ever exist. For me he'll always be #1. Rest In Speed Paul
Redneck322 yeah they left out lone survivor.. bruh that got me and my parents and the whole theater when that movie came out. My dad was like 55ish when he watched it and it’ rare to see him cry since he acts all tough and shit..
Movies like 'Big Fish' get me - it was all true. Wrath of Khan when Spock dies like every single time. Even the newer one when Kirk's dad dies while he's born gets me. Edward Scissorhands when Vincent drops dead in front of him with absolutely no understanding of what happened. The Natural - all that untapped talent just wasted makes me cry. Highlander when Heather died - who wants to live forever?
+Omar Barakat I'm not even acting like a hard ass. It just wasn't a sad ending. It was annoying and kinda made me mad that they killed off Logan and all of the cool X Men in the series up to that point.
Lamtitude BRUH. It's his last movie they had to kill him to close his story AND you're mad they killed the rest of the X Men seriously? BRUH if they weren't killed off people would've been whining "where are the x men? Why aren't they in this movie?" SO it was either put them in the movie or kill them AND if they were in he movie they would've ruined it, it wouldn't have been as good
IMO , The Pursuit of Happyness & 2012 should of been up here. When Dr. Adriens dad is talkin to him from the yacht on the phone when he tells him hes gonna die i think can make anybody tear up
