I knew March of the Pigs would be pretty high on the list, the fill is so weird on drums, I can't wait to actually play these songs with actual guitar and drums.
To me the hardest tracks are the ones where you play the same note over and over, sometimes with a few skips, while the other notes go crazy. By far harder then all the notes going crazy.
March of the Pigs is difficult mainly because of it's length and weird rhythm. I often mess up at the final area a lot even though it's just the first pattern repeated for a 3rd time, but way longer.
This is really cool! I like how you include total notes and nps, I like looking at statistics like that. I have 5/10 fc’s on this list, and I can agree with your list, I just lose the rhythm with March of the pigs after like 500 notes, great video though!
All the songs have a good amount of expert ratings...but there are some that are almost impossible to play on a video game controller lmao I loved the video ❤
all the fort hero songs are easy asf compared to old rhythm game, none of these are even close to being impossible on controller id even say controller is easier.
March of the Pigs is so simple, fundamentally. its just 2 very basic rythyms. but good lord doing them both at the same time just destroys my little brain lol
I mean, to the casual player, these are hard songs. I'm sure to most of us, these are nothing because we either grew up with Guitar Hero/Rock band or by playing Clone Hero or other rhythm games. People gotta remember they're still trying to attract new players or their casual fanbase. So not every single song is going to be so hard.
This video makes me start to think that those Whiplash memes when festival was first released were completely accurate with how hard songs on drums are, how are people NOT sweating and bleeding on the controller
This vid was made just before season 1 festival ended, I would agree with 8 but beat if it wasn’t for Don’t Fear the Reaper on drums and Everlong on drums didn’t exist

Bro that crap is insane 💀 I woke up one day wanting to try and get a better score and managed to get 100% but now I usually get in the 90's. Some days I know exactly what to hit and then on other days I overthink the middle note and mess everything up LMAO
I played march of the pigs yesterday on X and it's hard. I kept up until like the second drop until I missed a few notes and that just messed me up through the whole song. I have a few song that I got top 1000 in, I really want to play the search but have to buy it tho, but the search looks so fun
The search is such a vibe, it might just be me but I feel like the vocals shouldn’t be hardest difficulty though. It’s not that hard I’ve gotten flawless most times
8-bit vocals #1, everything else gets bumped down. The Edge of Glory lead maybe #10 over heartbreaker. Not gonna do a new video just yet, wouldn’t be much of a difference. But I will do a new video in the future
@rnznlt3105 and most people weren't big fans of Guitar Hero/Rock Band back then either but it still got them curious enough to try it out, which is why it got so big and became a fad. I'm sure it's going to be the same once instrument compatibility is available

Can't disagree with that, it's definitely close. You could also argue that consistency is exactly what makes March of the Pigs harder. It never gives you a break (other than the rests ofc), and considering the amount of notes, NPS, and the time signature I'm giving it to March of the Pigs personally
@@SpitfireDBDI agree. I still can’t believe I got a flawless on it. I barely made it because at the end the pattern just won’t stop. It was so constant that my thumb started to feel weird and nearly gave out. It’s the only song here that can make that happen.
I tend to think I’m pretty good at festival. I’ve fcd almost all the songs on this list except Motp. For some reason I can’t get the pattern. I wish there was a practice mode
funny thing is march of the pigs on drums isn't that necessarily hard its just staying consistent on the song without getting finger cramps that makes it so difficult for some
For some reason, March of the Pigs seemed easy to me, but Go With The Flow and Basket Case are IMPOSSIBLE for me to achieve 100%, The worst thing is that these 2 appear as "easier" 🗿
Gonna hold off for now. The list would still have most of the same songs. But I’ll likely update it before season 2 ends, soon if a lot of songs keep getting added
March of The Pigs is 100% the hardest song, only one I actually struggled a bit to play. I've been playing rhythm games for about 6 years now so it's nice to play a chart with reasonable difficulty!
How can I get the golden stars? I made 98% accuracy but only got half gold stars, I don't know if I need 100% or need to hit more perfect notes or it depends of the boost
Believe it or not, I can 100% March of the pigs (almost, whenever I use overdrive my game loves to kill me but I've gotten 300,965 points on it before)
Dude Kendrick had gotta be the best song in the game right now, it's difficult on every single instrument and sounds great. I really hope we get more Kendrick in the future, I'd love to play M.A.A.d City or Humble.
Add just about any speedcore song to Festival, and March Of The Pigs would instantly be dethroned for hardest song on drums lmao. I'm absolutely terrible on drums, and can barely even play expert mode at all, so watching anyone pull it off is pretty impressive IMO.

Ngl I’m kinda surprised there’s no poison with drums on here. My FNF build is what I use for festival do I don’t play expert or know what poison is like on expert but I’d assume it’s crazy.
It’s actually cool that March of The Pig is actually extended. Although, I kind of which the Perfect Drug for the Lost Highway soundtrack was in the game.

Yeah I thought March of the Pigs was easy just seeing this then I remember my setup having my thumb dying on certain songs' drums, I see why it's there now.
Im surprised drums for Buddy Holly isn’t on here. It’s so repetitive it gets difficult to keep up with all the notes. It doesn’t help that it only uses your first few fingers leaving your far right note empty until it reappears at random. My hands/arms always cramp on that song and im a pretty frequent/higher level rhythm game player
Poison on drums is difficult for me for the same reason. I'm decent at this game (not a pro as this is my first kinda real rhythm game as I don't think FNF counts lmao, but I started when it first came out having never really played rhythm games and progressed really quickly, maybe because I am a musician irl so I have a good sense of rhythm in general), always playing expert and doing the hardest instruments and whatnot and getting either golds or at least 5 stars on most songs, but I cannot get the consistency down for Poison on drums because it's so repetitive and my hands cramp and buttons stick sometimes. I find Buddy Holly drums slightly easier than Poison drums lol
All of these, I can handle. Some better than others obviously. HOWEVER, *THIS* (2:36) part on Brightside, I just cannot handle it for whatever reason. Either I click too fast or too slow. It's difficult when you're not ambidextrous.
I'm being straight with you....i never grew up playing guitar hero or any rhythm game. I played guitar hero on the arcade (forgot which one) just once cuz a former friend edged me to try it. i played rage against the machine (forgot which song) on hard difficulty and got a C first try. Then festival mode came for Fortnite and been playing on expert mode for all instruments on a PS5 controller since then

March of the pigs I feel is only the hardest cuz it’s the most repetitive and it’s also my least favorite song on drums cuz it can get boring playing the same things for the whole song and I tend to mess up just because of the fact that my brain doesn’t wanna stay focused on it cuz of how boring it is from it being so repetitive
