Played this game for years and didn't know you could do the SMT strat going top path on shy guy falls nor did I know the Athens ultra cut, really cool stuff!
@@Daymare19 Oops, yeah I caught that on a rewatch, thanks either way. I don't like going for the SMT strat on the lower path because of the amount of items spam that usually goes on in that spot, it is easier to avoid by going up top.
@Emkaydee I think @Girlilla-n-4Eyes (aka girlilla is writing the comments) has just a commenting addiction and has commented on basically every single mario kart 8 deluxe video in existence (I think, I haven't checked yet🤣)
@@AlexSilverBoy so basically: I wouldn't recommend Yoshi circuit, as I don't think anybody knows how to do that consistently, but I think you could try the last piranha plant cove on from this vid as it's something that can get consistent
that shy guy falls nisc was not exactly the fast method, instead a variant of the fast SMT nisc. instead you should hop earlier. see world record for reference, it's probably also easier than the version you do. also amazing voice
Also I attempted the Athens dash shortcut and with the perfect drift after I did the shortcut and it’s about 2 second save if you do the drift successfully
