+Baxter Bailey They changed their style from thrash metal to alternative metal. They used to be the best heavy metal band until after they released Black album. Lars became a worse drummer than he used to and they treated their 2nd bass player Jason Newstead like crap. Don't get me wrong Kill Em All, Ride The Lightning, Master Of Muppets, And Justice For All, Black, Garage Inc, and Death Magnetic are great but they went down the drain.
Many people hate them, specifically Lars, like they can do better... Also the "hardcore fans" who demand the old metallica back. And don't forget about the St. Anger haters, who don't get the raging insanity of that album. Oh, and also the people who heard Nothing Else Matters on the fking radio, looked up some other songs and decided that this is pointless screaming and noise, not music. So yeah plenty of haters...
I really don't understand why one direction and taylor swift are on the list. Taylor swift: 1) "she writes songs about her exes." So what? Lots of other artists do. Why does she get hate for that? I smell some sexism going on here. 2) "she can't sing." Ummm.... Please go and watch her acoustic performances and then come back to argue with me. 3) "she is everywhere". She is popular because people live her. She deserves the fame she has earned over years. Those are the only reason probably why people hate T Swift One direction: 1) "they are gay" I'm tired and sick of that excuse. They are not gay; all of them have dated over years or are still dating girls. Only harry is bisexual. But so what? Give me a break we are in 2015. 2) "they don't write their own songs" Zayn wrote his own verse in what makes you beautiful, their very first song. Liam and louis have written a lot; basically most; in the past two albums. Niall, Zayn and Harry also co-write with the boys. 3) "they can't sing" listen to their live performances, their sound check, and zayn's high notes. Then come back to me. 4) "they are everywhere" again, they deserve the fame because they have worked hard for it. But if you hate one if these two artists because they produce mainly pop or love songs and it's not your stuff, then I don't blame you. It's ok to have your own opinion :)
Dude wtf I got so pissed about Metallica being on this list, they're one of the most popular and (in my opinion) one of the best bands ever! Same goes for Axl Rose/Guns N' Roses!

Ok 1D fans let me explain to you why they're #1 1. They don't write they're own songs. If you go on Wikipedia and just scroll through their singles they made no contribution to the song writing process... Talentless 2. They use heavy auto-tune. If they don't even write they're own songs they gotta sing pure and they still don't. 3. They don't even play the instruments. UNDERSTAND: your little 1D band is a cooperate industry. A bunch of executives got together, wrote some hits, and laid down the tracks and said "hey cute boys sing on this" then they auto-tune it, send them up to stage, make dolls of them, make a franchise, and make millions. They're talentless and they know it. And releasing a song called "Best Song Ever" is sad and childish. May I suggest: Beatles, The Rolling Stones, The Who, Led Zeppelin, The Eagles, Pink Floyd, Wings, Bob Dylan, and more that I've left out Seriously. They're #1 for a reason whether you like it or not.

Taylor Swift gets a lot of hate, and she really isn't that bad in reality. Yes, she could do less songs (especially about her exes), but she isn't a horrible person from what I've seen.
I really don't like taylor swift's music or the hype and hoopla created by her fans but i would say there is no point in hating her she's okish singer. I think most people hate her cause she gets a lot more attention than many insanely talented artists in the industry who have done a lot more than her.

Taylor Swift should not be on this list because 1.) Her haters are just jealous, she's actually extremely talented and gorgeous 2.) She hasn't even had that many ex-boyfriends. For a woman in her 20's, that number is fairly average. 3.) I love both Lady Gaga and Taylor Swift, and very VERY much disagree with those two being on there. Taylor has done/said some problematic things, but she's starting to change. To hate her for writing about her "way too many exes" (ignoring that half the guys she's been linked to were guys she never actually dated) is sexist as hell. You wouldn't say that about the men in the industry who write about their exes, would you? With Gaga, you have to understand that what she's doing is all for the art. You can argue that she goes too far, but the fact remains that it's performance art unlike anything else in the industry.

As a Metallica fan, I say this with all due respect, but when they were young, they were still good musically, but character wise they utter douchebags and some still think that they are or at least the majority of the band. Especially since I know that James Hetfield has a family now, something tells me if you were to ask current James if he would kick 18 year old James's ass, he would probably say yes.

I can count only one. Their song One Thing kinda sounds like I Want It That Way by BSB. They may have not done it intentionally but still its odd either way and it does look bad. The only reason I know this song well enough to point this out is my son loves them.

I think that Creed is a good band. And Metallica?!?!?!?! I get that they made slower placed songs, but that doesn't mean that they should make this list.
+Derek Showalter they were pissed off at the black album. i really liked it as a heavy metal album, but the fans wanted more thrash. then came load and reload which really pissed off the fans. and they thought st anger would be better but that snare and the lack of guitar solos which is pretty much a must have in metal really set people to full anger. death magnetic was not so bad but it fell short of their contemporaries in just about every aspect. oh and they made lulu, that was the final straw. like nobody has any hopes of this upcoming album to be any good at all.

I think no one should be on that list. honestly. I honestly don't enjoy a good number of people on that list either but letting them know that you don't like them and then giving a gateway for others to share the same hatred towards another should be shameful. everyone is different, everyone has different tastes and yes there are a whole lot of people who encourage a lot of people on this list and although i don't i am a whole lot more proud of them then the others who decide its best to put down other artists. :)

Yeah, my only problem with Lady Gaga's "creativity" is that everything she does is borrowed or stolen from singers that came before her. Madonna is the most obvious of the ones she has "borrowed" from, but go back and watch old videos from Grace Jones (who refuses to work with her, despite several attempts from Gaga) and also Annie Lennox, and you will see that she is not original in the least bit!
