Sylar was one of the best TV Villains of all time

I loved Ando because he was like Samwise to Hiro's Frodo. A best friend to stick with the protagonist despite not being special in any way. That is admirable as hell.

The Best thing about HEROES is Dr. Suresh's voice over. That always gives me goosebumps.

Peter was the most powerful Heroes character and then they ruined it by changing his powers to where he can only absorb one at a time. That's when the show really started to go downhill.

Peter, Sylar and Hiro all deserve the No1 spot in their own way

This makes me want to binge watch Season 1 all over again.

Nathan Petrelli - probably the only characters to 'die' in every season haha

Heroes is the oft-forgotten champion of the "started so strong and faltered at the end" club alongside Lost and, apparently now Game Of Thrones. A shame this show gets forgotten so much, as season 1 was a masterclass in not just a good superhuman series but a brilliant character drama as well.

Sylar is like Klaus Mikaelson - enigmatic, complex character with inner demons, also antihero.

I think that Niki's second personality is actually her twin sister that was killed by their alcoholic violent father. During the show they say that her twin sister died to protect Niki from her father, she (the other twin) had a very prone to violence personality, she was the one that always fought back and always did whatever it was necessary, so I really believe that Jessica's soul/mind traveled to her sister's body in order to survive.

Loved this show, it really touched the feels!! Remember fondly the first season finale: Peter: I can't control it Nate Nathan: You don't have to. We'll do it together Me: 😭😭😭😍😭😭

I always loved watching the Sylar and Peter dynamic even when they weren't fighting

FINALLY!! A WatchMojo video that is actually interesting. I always like to hear others thoughts on Heroes. Personally, My favourite characters are Sylar and Samuel.

Personally, Peter is my absolute favourite in Heroes, so of course I think he should be at the top spot... but Hiro is pretty BAMF too sometimes. And when he's not he's just an amazing mix of adorable and amazing. So

Nathan only 9th? In the beginning, he was a douche. However, the ending of season 1, he was such an awesome brother. Loved the season 1 finale!!! He couldn't leave Peter alone when he was dangerous and he was close to blowing up the city so he sacrificed himself to help save the world.

HRG was the best, loved how he was mostly several moves ahead of everyone else, he just had a knack of seeing all the moves on the chess board.

Future Peter was so badass

Honestly if this show was just Hiro and Ando I'd still love it.

Syler. Probably one of the best TV villians of all time. they did start ruining the character late stages of the series but the character was still awesome. Hiro is awesome as well but Syler was another level. It's sad they zachery didnt reprise his role to Heroes Reborn but I guess Zachary has moved on :(

Peter was always my favorite because he was so cool.

Peter, Sylar and Hiro are the best characters in the show in my opinion. I always felt Peter would be considered the main character of the show.

One of my favorite characters was Adam. I think it was because of his friendship and connection with Hiro during season 2 where he became one of my favorite characters :D

Hiro Nakamura is the winner in this list not only he my most favorite Heroes character, he's the only one from Heroes Universe that makes it into Ani-Toonspiracy(besides Emile Danko of course)

I absolutely agree with this list. Hiro is the most important character and has the best personality. Tho Peter can absorb his power. He becomes less enjoyable after he loses them. I think it's because his power was a bit too op. Claire was also one of the best but I absolutely hate that they killed her off in reborn. Matt started to annoy me after a few seasons. And Emma was agreeably a inspirational character. Representing those with disabilities. Her power was beautiful.

Sylar should be #1 on this top ten list. His character was strong, complex, very interesting to follow and made him one of the best villains over the past decade in TV series. I've seen Heroes Reborn and it's not up to the same level as the original series. Even though Tim Kring's aim was not to produce a sequel but a stand-alone project, in my point of view the bar is considerably lower.

peter, hiro, ando, claire, and mohinder will always be my favorites.

I only watched heroes cuz of Sylar.

Hiro's name wasn't for the show, it was explained on the comics the show was based on. His name is short for hiroshima, a living memorial for those who died during the bombing in hiroshima

Noah is my favorite character from heroes he is extremely Intelligent!

I hope in the future they make a heroes reborn list. that'd be cool. also i wish that both Mika and especially Ando would have made at least the honorable mentions list. i Definetly agree with so many of these rankings. especially the last 3. I'm super glad that they finally made a video for this iconic show. but like i said i hope they make a heroes reborn list in the future.

Loved Heroes until the last season. It got dumb. Then the Heroes Reborn and Video Game girl turned me off half way into episode 1. Such potential.

After watching the first 8, I had a feeling that Hiro would be 1. Also, quote from WatchMojo in case you haven't read the description: "For this list, we've ranked the best characters in the NBC sci-fi drama series based on their importance to the series and their status as fan favourites."

I am glad that Samuel and Emma were at least mentioned, though I wish they had been introduced before the writer strike so their characters would have been developed better.

The fact that each hero has his/her own, unique ability is one of the best parts of the show. Every time a character shows up who can copy it the person who originally was the only one having it becomes less interesting. That's why I never liked Peter - his power was not having an innate ability like the others - any power he ever had came from someone else. Sylar was amazing, since claiming powers was a part of his goal. And Zachary Quinto was incredible.

Peter should’ve been at #1. He can copy Hiro’s power and still have all of his other copied abilities.
