The great thing about these vlogs is that they answer the questions that everyone always asks.....How far down the Soi is the hotel? Or ......How far is the walk from the hotel to Sukhumvit Road? Great vlogs.
Cheers James. Yes I am hoping these videos will be as informative as possible. The location issue as you say is probably the main thing people consider or are disappointed about when booking/having booked hotels. I remember many times in the past when i thought I had booked a good hotel at a good price only to discover its location was a real hassle.
Hi Smelbo - No I am still in Yangon. With this lockdown I suppose it doesn't matter much if you are in Yangon or Bangkok as you are homebound. I am hoping to go to Bangkok to make more videos when the lockdown ends.
Well spotted - yes the video footage I use in the beginning of the video is a few years old. Noticed quite a few changes since I shot that footage such as new hotels appearing. Both Key Premier and Syama Nana have opened after I filmed that footage. But all the details about the hotels is up to date.
True Tim. I did think that making a video about hotels at this time is a bit pointless as people are no longer travelling. On the other hand I am stuck at home in lockdown so this is the only sort of video I can make at the moment. I am hoping it is a video that will outlive the corona virus so when people begin travelling again they may still see this video and find it useful.
