Singing like this is totally insane to the vocal cords, he damaged them because he pushed over his limits. Despite this, he's and will always be the only unreachable voice of all the history of the rock music. He supposed to be a baritone or a tenor as well, it doesn't matter. He already sang in female key, that's not a stuff possibile to every tenor. Having a voice like this is a gift, with becoming a singer he decided to gift us his masterpieces and his memory, forever.

@@goldenwolf8081 that actually works....not for the vibrato though that just needs an insane amount of time and dedication to the art.... I can def sing as high as he did, the 'why' from under pressure and most of show must go on. but its the softer and yet vibrant vocals from songs like somebody to love that amaze me. I used to yell and scream as a 15 year old listening to queen and currently i am 18 and my vocal range has very much expanded and i can sing many vocals that were out of my reach back as a 15 yr old with ease. it could also be due to change in voice. I am also not vocally trained (yet), but i am thinking about it to train my vibrato. For now its just mimicking freddie's vocals during performances, i have a long way to go.

The entirety of the Innuendo album is a masterpiece when it comes to vocal power, versatility and emotion. And what about the Barcelona album? "How can I go on?" and "The Golden boy" are pure awesomeness. Or the crystal clear voice of the early days: "Dear friends", "White Queen" or his very first recording, "Going back". So sad he never took lessons in order to take care of his live technique (specially in terms of mix his registers and having a proper breath support). Try to imagine what could have been seeing Freddie with The crazy tour shape all over this live career. Btw, a suggestion: analyze the crazy tour vocal lines. There are some great singing there! 🤗🎤🎶

Freddie could sing live just as good as in the studio, but what makes it nearly impossible to do all the time is the busy touring schedule they were on… Nobody can keep their voice in pristine condition night after night for two months! However, Freddie had so much power that he was still able to rock whole stadiums every time!

I was a choir boy back in high school. I have been practicing and improving my voice for years. To this day, I'm still blown away at what this man was capable of. Some of the best singers alive today can't hold a candle to Freddie's total mastery of his voice. The only one who ever really matched him in raw vocal talent was Michael Jackson, and when the only person who can keep up with you is Mr. King of Pop, you know the bar is pretty fucking high. There's a reason that people call Freddie a legend, and that's because you'd never believe someone that gifted could even exist if it hadn't been thoroughly documented.

Dimash cannot sing rock or opera. Covering a rock song or an opera aria doesn't mean you can actually sing those styles. Dimash doesn't have the aggression and intensity for rock. As for opera, I ve never seen Dimash perform anything without a microphone, so it not opera. Opera is sung without a microphone that is what makes it difficult. He is a good singer but people exaggerate his versatility.

Sorry) Actually, the story about taking a shot and singing - was NOT that song but it was 'Mother Love' and that had to be the most heart wrenching vocals of his life! YOU feel his pain and despair because he knew the end was near (in like a few days actually - he didn't finish the song, Brian did), this is the story that Brian tells. "The Show Must Go On" is the song most dear to my heart due to how it helps me to overcome depresssion from my neurological disability.
