I have been asked many times to make a video about all my improvements and what makes my helicopter so special.
I tried to make the video entertaining but with a lot of technical information
My 10 most important and useful improvements on my helicopter.
1. Upgrade to my turbocharged inter cooled altitude compensation system with the new Rotorway water jacket kit, inter cooler air intake with a fan for hovering, waste gate indicator, waste gate control
2. Long range tank 35 L with a built in aviation bladder, transfer fuel pump, and separate 10 L reserve tank. Maximum fuel on board 107 L (28 gall.)
3. 4 cargo boxes, large 35 L, medium 25 L and 2 small ones
4. Master switch with outside battery terminals
5. Shaft mounted roller rockers with guided push rods, no more stuck valves and hardly any valve gap adjustment needed
6. Cog belt drive with elastomeric tensioner, anti-oscillating roller
for main belts to prevent belts hitting the air frame
7. Aluminium fuel caps, tanks ventilated in the tail boom and the fuel outlets connection strengthened
8. Extended reinforced skids on both sides and an extra outside oil cooler, thermostat controlled
9. Upholstery with leather seats and 2 fire extinguishers
10. In flight air fuel mixture control, aluminium pedals, hour meter, friction control, exhaust gas temperature gauge, CO2 indicator, ceramic coated exhaust pipes, and many more improvements
