Wonderful informative video as always. I don’t have any Issey fragrances myself as my old man has several and form most of his signature scents, but so many that do sound amazing that I might steal from him. Now with Miyakes passing I’m sure more people will explore the house such as myself.
OG '94 L'Eau D'Issey is a timeless beast mode fresh scent! The Intense of my favourite atm, perfect balance of yin & yang, light & dark with the smokey undertones under the citrus notes. Just wearing in my Noir Agent to familiarise myself a bit more, but definitely have Noir Ambre & Or Encens on the top of my Issey wish list. Might have to do a bit of travelling & get lucky for that though, from the land down under... RIP Mr Miyake.
Not too many mentions this week among the reviewers here of his passing. Nice to see a video with a good number of fragrances addressed. The OG Pour Homme has been on my wish list for a while now, I guess I'll have to explore a few more of the offerings. Great work as always, thank you
I concur with your articulate descriptions of each fragrance. Precise and not overbearing. However the fit of the mock neck on Mr.Jobs, I beg to differ. Mr. Jobs had a thin wiry build lacking of muscle tone, he often appeared to be gaunt in whatever apparel he wore. I’ve worn the mock and on my muscular frame, it gave me the appearance of a full chest with tapered arms and a less than paunchy midsection. That's a hard question. The original is always good. Polaris and Pulse of the Night, as well as Nuit d'issey parfum, are also amazing for most of the year. They are harder to find, though. This is an underrated brand with many amazing fragrances. Thanks for watching 👊
I have to agree, Issey Miyake is definitely an underrated fragrance house... My first was L'eau D'Issey Pour Homme Intense, then I collected each of the darker fragrances mentioned in this video (except Pulse of the Night). Each are SUPERB!!!

Pour homme has been the best cologne ever made I've owned every cologne on everyone's top ten list and none gets the attention of every female that comes in smelling range if I wear it and I'm looking for a date is guaranteed to get the girls is a girl magnet we used to call it back in highschool El Baja panty or the panty dropper cause you it drives the girls insane not other cologne has ever came even close to it I'm always surprised that not many people know about it the ones that do knows is the best gem ever made
I'm starting on the perfume usage and appreciation, I got my first nice perfume last year, it was L'eau Dissey WoodWood, stunning fragrance, it is now in the last droplets 😂 but I got L'eau Majeure recently, and I felt in love with those fragrances, simply so exquisite and fresh, L'eau Majeure fits well with me, because of the oceanic smells that it carries, since my area of work is ocean centered. I'm really attached to this house of perfumes now, really good for the all year hot temperatures in the place I live.
I was just able to pick up a 6.4 oz bottle of L'eau D'Issey pour Homme for $53 bucks, super excited to discover its scent profile. Issey was really making an attempt to break into the mainstream fashion house world during the 90s, so for these fragrances to be worked on by the modern day director of Louis Vuitton's fragrances go to show how far Issey was silently able to get his foot in the door.
I wish I have seen this video six months ago when, for my 50th birthday, I finally decided to buy a decent perfume. After testing a dozen perfumes I got Eau & Cèdre, but to be honest after 15 minutes nobody but me notices I wear a fragrance. :)

I think Fusion Extreme is an improvement over the original. Similar, but amped up. I love Pulse of the Night, possibly my favourite from the entire line! And on a hot day I'd take Sport, Shades of Kolam, or pretty much any of the summer flankers. R.I.P.

Only tried 4 from the house own 3 issey's though NA, Or Encens, and pulse of the night. Some of my favorite scents in my entire collection have multiple backups of NA. Also have a scentbird decant of l'eau Dissey nuit that I always enjoyed as well. Want some of the summer editions from over the years such a great and underrated house fragrance wise.
I pretty much have most of these fragrances on this list except for pulse of the night I can probably try to grab a bottle off eBay but the prices on eBay are incredibly high for that fragrance It is definitely my unicorn that I've been trying to find for about 3 or 4 years now in my fragrance journey
I have Nuit d'Issey edt, L'Eau Intense, L'Eau Bleue and Pulse of the Night and they are all great quality fragrances, but I have to agree that Pulse of the Night is the best
@@adityashinde7828 It has the same type of mass-appeal as Oud for Greatness and its clones.. Performance is great on me, lasts forever and projects very well, but fragrances typically do better on me than on most people, so take that with a grain of salt... I wear it when it goes below 25 Celsius outside
I used to have Nuit D'Issey Parfum, but I decided it smell too dated for my taste (I'm 28yo) and I liked Pulse of The Night but sold it because of underwhelming performance on my skin. I really liked Fusion D'Issey series, however I'm not often at the beach to justify purchase. ;D Definitely would love to try Polaris, and Noir Ambre. Nevertheless I think this brand is definitely worth checking out and it differs from other designer offerings and you inspired me to try fragrances I haven't tried yet. Also - I really like the bottles design tho!

This is a very unique blue fragrance. Nothing smells quite like it. Some say Tom Ford Costa Azzurra is similar. However, it isn't really and it is also much more expensive . 🤙

Which Issey Miyake Fragrance do you think is most similar to Bleu de Chanel / Sauvage ? Some have told me Fusion is with Ambroxan, but the Coconut makes me think no. Not Bleu Dissey because it's a blue - green and no ambroxan. Others have also told me wood and wood , and Nuit Dissey. I don't know anymore. What do you think?
I love how complex Issey Miyake makes their scents especially on a budget it’s hard to find a more complex array of actually wonderful budget scents. I just tried the amazing L’eau D’issey Pour Homme and it blew my mind I have to try the flankers now.
Love the video. Got lots of Issey miyake. Just scooped Polaris this morning on fragrancenet. Wasn't available long... last year got my hands on 2 bottles of noir ambre and a bottle of or encens. Have bleu Astral and nuit dissey parfum as well. The colder weather Issey miyake frags are top notch. Favorite atm is noir ambre. Hopefully I can get a 3rd bottle this year... Hopefully

Fusion Extreme is incredible. Good performance and the blue/coconut combination smells awesome. I bought on sale and immediately bought a back up bottle
