Nina has aced it again. Thank you so much for these beautifully current ideas... It just dosent get better than this . Makes other standard design kitchens look boring. I love the aesthetic here .
Dear Nina, I just discovered your channel a few weeks ago and I love it! Please 🙏 I need more videos about kitchens, because I'll be moving to a typical european row-house where you enter the home through the kitchen ( sigh).
Love, love, love the heavy moldings with the minimalist cabinetry and furniture. And a close second comes the cantilevered island. These trends would be gorgeous in a kitchen together. Great video! Thank you.
Gosh I loooove all the trends presented here!! It’s impossible to pick my favorite. I, too, love Joseph Dirand’s work and have been following him for a couple years. I love them all, depending on the space and the functional preferences of the client. Thank you for another great video!!
Juxtaposed!!! With book matched marble backsplash, cantilevered island, and a massive statement light. Love that perpendicular island idea. It’s nice to see some new shapes in the kitchen. Also, that curved marble island was fantastic.
The kitchens are beautiful no doubt. But as a professional chef --- I would want my kitchen to have a lot of cooking stuff I want - I want a pizza oven, a tandoori oven, a griller, a combitherm, a satay griller, a shawarma griller, a griddle, a salamader broiler, a fry area, a wok/stir frying area, a small air-conditioned chocolate room. I have yet to see a kitchen that is modernly beautiful and one that is indeed fully functional, like ones in restos. Most of the kitchen here are for aesthetic --- I want a chef's dream kitchen. Nina do you have a video for a chef's dream kitchen I would love to see one if you have. Thanks =)
Hi Nina, I just found your channel and I'm loving it! My family and I will be moving to our first house (with garden) in 2023. And made a few design mistakes in my current kitchen, which I dont want to repeat. My best friend and I love to spend time in the kitchen, so that room is very important to me. I saw some very interesting italian kitchens, where you could pull down a cover to hide all the working area...and hide the mess. Is that something you would recommend?
Those floating shelves / slabs I have seen in my grandmother's kitchen ( which is more than 100 years old house) made out of wood. Trends from old to new... Interesting❤️
Nina, It’s so exciting to see where design trends are taking us! You have given us all food for thought. I’m very intrigued by the no kitchen look; especially for a space that needs to serve more than one function. Thanks for sharing your perspective and expertise! Best, Karen
Hardly any of these designs would work in an everyday small kitchen. I would love to be able to totally clear my worktops but it’s just not feasible due to lack of space but also not practical. A heavy lined marble top & cabinets just assaults my brain! Too much. I appreciate some bits would work in a utility room or butlers pantry if one is lucky to have one but it would be great to see small kitchens. To me the test of a good designer is not how he/she designs a large kitchen but how he/she designs a small kitchen that is functional as well as beautiful & preferably doesn’t cost a small fortune to achieve.
Your favorite is my favorite! Traditional mouldings (Neoclassical, French Empire, cove mouldings, panel mouldings etc) Mixed with contemporary can create timeless, cutting edge kitchens!
I love your videos. I watched another one of your videos tonight, you used RH furniture in a Beverly Hills home. How do you feel about the quality of RH furniture? I want a sofa and chairs by them but the reviews for their sofa’s are terrible made in China. Please advise. Thank you.
Thank you, for your top 10 IKEA must haves. I ordered a few ideas you recommended and love them. I have never shopped at IKEA and I am pleased. Bless you.
Brilliant presentation! Great style and you're so easy on the eye and ear. It goes without saying that your ideas are fantastic- definitely going to incorporate the marble hood in my kitchen.
Love the first, Kitchens by Paul🤩the marble is stunning & the drawer fronts (how do the drawers withstand that weight?) That wood herringbone floor😍 Fabulously moody, no kitchen/kitchen w/niche & beautiful lighting-including LED strips; I think he had many of the new trends or maybe, HE SETS THE TRENDS😉 Love the Parisian molding/modern kitchen & marble/plaster hoods, too! Clearly I like most everything!❤️
These kitchen are beautiful, stunning even, but they are for people that DO NOT USE them as kitchens. Anybody that cooks knows that open shelving are the worst. Layers of grease and dust and grease accumulate on everything, cabinets, items displayed, lighting...
I have become a huge fan of you and your videos . You look as amazing as ur interior designing style !! I am going to take the marble hood idea . Loved it !! Is ty something that I need to talk to the fabricator about ? Do we do the regular hood first and have them do the marble on top ? Thanks and keep more videos coming our way :-) I have finished watching all of urs already and waiting for more 😄
Love the plaster hood trend and the last trend of mouldings with the modern cabinetry. Stunning! Please can you let me know where to get a hood like the one behind you in this video? Is it gold?
Hi Nina, Thank so much so sharing your world with us, however the suggested items on your outfits are not anything like what you are wearing , can you please tell us whom the designers are ?? Banu
Thank you so much! It’s on my list Check out this list Beauty Obsessions from Interior Designer www.amazon.com/shop/ninatakesh?listId=30RCQOBXAMABK&ref=inf_list_own_ninatakesh
what a great video. I can't afford anything these days but I love to watch. You have great style. will you be working on a line of your own products. You should!
Hi Lisa, I have black cabinets myself and love the "drama" but they are high maintenance unless you have a more flat or stained finish which is easier to keep clean. xx
@@asashandukirabali7596 Hello, I think it shows the oils from your hands etc. Kinda like a black car you see all the spots when it gets dirty and you don't notice on the white as much. : )
With 4 kids it’s not convenient for me to have shelves instead of cabinets. We have dishes, spices and trays that won’t look good showcasing and I will loose a lot of space
Stunning ideas. Love the no cabinets look. My fav kitchen look for now is Athena Calderone’s @eyeswoon on insta. It’s very similar to the one you’ve shown here too😊 thanks Nina you’re always so divine 💖
Lots of European designs are trending in the U.S. except we don’t really use marble that much here. My kitchen is 20 years old and due for a make over.....but according to what I’ve just seen my kitchen is cutting edge.......🤔please don’t tell my husband or else I’ll be stuck for another 20 years🥴
Obviously, to each his own. I’m not a fan of modern because it lacks character. Those beautiful Parisian moldings that you showed in the end prove my point. Also, too much black is depressing, so is gray. I know fashions are constantly changing but what is beautiful will never be outdated. What is boring and blah will always be outdated, eventually, think avocado colored appliances of the past.
Nina Takesh You are a classy lady and I’ve enjoyed your tips. However, I hope you will incorporate more traditional decor along with these modernistic styles. As I’ve said before, traditional is beautiful and timeless. Modern can be boring if not done lightly.
