Hey guys and welcome to todays video.. the eagle eyed amongst you will notice there were only 9 products mentioned here not 10 and I totally missed out the Numbuzin vitamin concentrate serum which would be a great option so please add that to the list of the top 10.. love you all xx
I’m glad you mentioned the Numbuzin no5 vitamin concentrate serum Rob. I started using it a couple of weeks ago on your recommendation and my skin is loving it! ❤
I was a bit suprised you didn't mention Numbuzin no5 because I know how much you love that serum 😄 I didn't notice you only talked about 9 products, I just thought you wanted to focus on being super gentle 😂😂😘
Vegreen vitamin c is my fave, I pair this with the aplb salicylic and arbutin toner and cream, alyernate with the vegreen toner. Love that combo. Skin type dry and mature acne prone❤
To be frank, if your dark marks reappear in summer…the issue is sunscreen not skincare products. Most products that fade marks sensitise your skin to the sun. Up your spf from 30 to 50 and reapply as directed.
Hey Rob! Congrats on the move! Can’t wait to see the new set up. Just wanted to let you know I do like the geek and gorgeous c glow but it’s just not strong enough on the glow for me that the Paula’s choice C15 super booster serum gives my face. Which sucks since the price difference is crazy different but thanks for the recommendation everything else like the Timeless Q10 and YOUR peptide serum are doing my face justice! Thanks again boo ☀️
❄️ Ooh new video! Definitely year around for me - living in Australia, sun care is all the time, as you can still catch the sun in the dead of winter, so I’m paranoid with the spf. My Korean haul is coming in a couple of days- I look forward to sharing my thoughts. I’m getting the Mary and May eye cream, the Skin 1004 sun cream. I also am getting the Medipeel Peptid Ampoule that you recommended. I’m so excited to try that one! Thanks again, Rob ❤
😎😎🌞 Greetings Rob! I have used the Torriden Lip and love it!!!! It has come to the rescue for extreme dryness and discomfort particularly when I'm dealing with ulcers in/near the lip area. Just can't beat the Korean products!💜
Haha I know right I have talked to her about that in the past.. we both film our videos 1-2 weeks before they launch so its total coincidence and I think its just as we both like the same brands and styles of product.. I did a podcast with her and she was so lovely xx
Oh my goodness, didn’t realise that the Seoul 1988 sunscreen had peptides too! To top off my terrible week I have now sprained my wrist and have had to simplify my skin routine. I normally don’t like droppers but for one handed skincare routines they are great!! Loving the Medipeel peptide serum, your recommendations are the best! ❤u xx By the way you are glowing to the gods today!!
Oh no Jan I'm sorry to hear that.. like you say that's the last thing you need after the week you have had.. hope some relaxing over the weekend will help it heal and sending you lots of love xx
Thanks for a great video! This is the first year that I’m struggling with hyperpigmentation /melasma. I use sunscreen all year around ( spf50++++ ) and I wear a ridiculously large hat whenever I’m outside in the spring/ summer. I guess it has to do with my age a bit, I’m turning 49 this year. I’m going to try the ampoule from SKIN1004. I live in Sweden☀️! 💕
Yes unfortunatly we can develop as we age but good news is if you catch it before it becomes a big issue then it is so much easier to maintain so I hope the skin1004 works for you hun.. love to Sweden x
❄️ Hello from Australia. Wish I found your channel earlier! You’re such a skin care guru introducing all the good ingredients and products. Thank you and keep the great work!❤❤
Thank you for tips. But I wouldnt say that Vegreen serum is watery, it is definitely on oilier side f.e. when compared to that of Geek and Gorgeous. And the smell is terrible. Nevertheless it a nice serum, only a bit havier.
🌞 I love Haruharu wonder dark spot go away serum Txa 4% niacinamide 4% and vitamin-c. I use it with Revox azeliac acid and every other day The ordinary retinal 0.2 % emulsion. That's my recommendation. My skin feels like a babys butt.
@@MadAboutSkin It's a little bit sticky, but it goes away when you put azeliac acid or other serums on. I love that it has 4% transexamic acid in it. I hope you'll like it.
I've been wondering about the skin1004 brightening serum. I may have to give it a go. And that powder is a definite yes. ! Have you tried the nacific cream toner? It's supposed to be a gentle exfoliator as well as hydrating
San Francisco, Ca Here. There is a new sunscreen by Riemann P20 for Hyperpigmentation that I'm curious about. It's one of those we don't mess around European sunscreens.
Thank you Rob ❄️ could i ask when your copper peptides will be be back in stock excellent serum i like it very much 👍torrinden soild in line is excellent full of ceramides i personally like the essence serum ❤
Thank you so much for your kind words on the peptide :) I'm delighted it's working so well for you.. all the products will be back in stock with the rebranding which is now less than a month away and I can't wait.. xx
I think it was Labmuffinbeauty who said that she doesn't believe tranexamic acid does anything for the skin.. its so confusing when everybody say different things :(
I saw her thoughts on it.. I appreciate her take on things but for me its made a difference, I think oral tranexamic acid makes a bigger difference for sure but application on the skin did work for me.. sending Love x
Oh I am sorry to hear that but it can be so stubborn.. have you ever looked into laser? I only say that as a friend of mine who had resistant melanoma did find it helped a little.. love x
On their official website they claim it to be 2% retinal liposome.. where the truth lays and what's retinal liposome exactly that I have no idea. Sorry if I confused you even more 😆
@@MadAboutSkin it can be but it’s high elevation desert so it always cools down at least 20 degrees at night. We have beautiful Joshua Trees here. You should google that. We have one over 200 years old in our back yard.
Haha thats what I am working on lol.. I actually have a filming room which is being set up and decorated as we speak so cant wait to get into there.. love x
Thank you so much hun and I agree I think when it comes to hyperpigmentation we need to use multiple actives together to get the best result for sure.. love x
☀️hi Rob. Thx. Again. Two questions. I followed your recommendation and switched to the Seoul 1988 Retinal. Is this the same strenght as the new Retinal from the Ordinary? Next I did not find the body lotion in the links or am I plain stupid. I replayed and was not able to pick up the name. Thanks in advance.
I think the Seoul 1988 Retinal has a much lower percentage of retinal than the new product from The Ordinary which has 0.2%, which is very high for retinal. The placement of retinal in the ingredient list and the fact that the 2% liposome in the Seoul 1988 refers to 2% of the carrier compound that encasing the retinal makes me guess it is less than 0.1%, possibly closer to 0.5%. I have searched many websites and have not found anywhere that Seoul 1988 reveals the percentage of retinal.
@@agiles6483 I have to agree with you. I also have been searching for information about the actual amount of retinal in the Seoul 1988 Retinal Serum and, according to their own website the 2% is in fact the amount of retinal AND the liposom carrier combined. Another good example of this is the Beauty of Joseon Ginseng Eye cream with 2% retinal. BOJ actually do disclose the amount of retinal and it's 0,02% out of a total of 2% liposomal retinal.
Hi hun, I am so sorry for the missing link it was removed for some reason by RU-vid but its the FLASKIN Protein lotion.. In terms of the k-secret it would be the equivalent strength to the geek and gorgeous retinal which is a little weaker than the ordinary one which just launched.. the ordinary one is super strong but works really well.. love x
☀️I’m in the Midwest of the U.S. and I’m not a fan of summer. It gets so hot and humid here. And let’s face it…sweating is not cute. Another retinal??? But but but, I just got two bottles of the MAS retinal! The Seoul 1988 will just have to wait. 😁 I hope we get a tour of the new digs soon!! 🩵🩵🩵
Hey Amy how are you? Been missing you with no livestreams but they are back this weekend and I plan on having a little tour for you guys then :) love you xxxxxxx
❄I love the thought of gentle skincare. Being a teenager with acne in the 80s was harsh. Thank you for uploading your lovely videos, I really look forward to them. I would love to know what fragrances you like. Take care 💜
OMG I agree with you hun .. if I realised in my teens that scrubbing my skin until it was raw was not the answer I would have a lot less hyperpigmentation now for sure.. sending love to SA x
