I think Trevor's steal vs. the nuggets the inbound play That steal was fucking huge! Got the lakers that trip to the finals he was a huge difference in 2009
So long ariza :( IM gonna miss ur hardwork on the floor, i hope u do good in Houston. ill never forget your steals that lead to wins in the playoffs. On the other hand lakers got the better player and defender, RON Artest, i just hope he doesn't cause trouble in the locker room, and i hope he knows he's not the captain, its always gonna be kobe.
my favorite moments- #1 fishers three to tie it #2 ariza's steals in games 1 and 3 against denver HELLO NBA WHERE ARE THOSE #3 kobe's and-1 against pietrus capped off like 3 or 4 straight plays of magic turnovers and kobe scores #4 kobe's underrated no look to gasol in crunch time #5 fisher's three in overtime for the lead #6 kobe's pass to himself off the glass #7 shannon browns dunk #8 ariza's reverse dunk #9 kobe's shot whilfe falling down #10 ariza's crazy dunk against denver
ON3 WORD REP3AT... this was one of the best finals i've ever seen 4rm my lakers derek fisher always has been the best and kobe the lord of basketball the team played together as one i will miss ariza but we have artest that we just became better on the d: side. can't wait for the season to come.2009
Turiaf was a restricted FA. Golden State had an offer that LA could have easily matched if they let Sasha go in free agency. Instead, they gave Sasha a contract and Ronny is a Warrior now
i like this team too they are the best,,but in my other thought i like phoenix suns too,, idk why but i think i believe in them that someday they will win at playoffs,,they are putting some effort on it,,but still LosAngelesLAKERS still the best...
It would be sad if Ariza leaves. He may not be as diverse as Artest but he is a proven champion. If it wasn't for those clutch plays during the playoffs, the Lakers would not have won the Championship.
I would much rather had LA get rid of Vujacic and kept Turiaf last year. He provided the comedy the Lakers needed. Sasha stayed around because he is Kobe's best friend on the team
LA Lakers goin all the way again this year the repeatin nobody can beat em they got kobe pau bynum odom and artest its a wrap.. cant 4get about the high flyer brown he will dunk on any body and errdody that go up wit him real talk
Ariza is the next Kobe? Woah, woah, woah. Ariza was great for the Lakers, no doubt. He was one of my favorite players, and was clutch many times. He was a great role player, played solid D, and worked within the system. But that doesn't make him the next Kobe. Ariza can't really create his own shot, and relies on double teams against Kobe/Pau to get the open looks / driving lanes that he does. Ariza and his agent made it clear that they didn't want to stay (leverage tour, anyone?). So be it.
Except #1 was a series changer. It not only changed the momentum of the game, but of the entire series. Truly one of the greatest clutch shots in recent memory. #2 was just flashy. Amazing, but fluff.
1._Boston is a Defensive team, you dont expect Each Great Player has 20 or more points 2._Dont compare Bynum with KG (All Star)!! 3._You can't say he is a great player just for a few games !!!!! 4._An injury doesn make "3 Personal foul in 3 minutes" 5._YAO MING INJURY!!!
Lakers were missing Ariza and Bynum in 08. That’s why we lost. Let’s be real. Between that and the refs, we couldn’t overcome the odds for the three peat. Celtics fans will swear losing Perkins in 2010 was the same, but let’s be real. Perkins wasn’t doing shit
the lakers just won a championship. there is no need to defend kobe's greatness anymore. The man is one of the greatest players of all time. please don't argue with kobe haters anymore because they are just going to be wasting your time
Artest is good but Ariza in my opinion had MUCH more potential than Artest. We'll miss your awesome reverse dunks and defense :( Good luck in Rockets!!
