I have never been to Russia before... But after seeing this video, I really want to visit it... Coz all these 10 cities looks soo beautiful... Some cities looks like fairy tail cities... So beautiful architecture, so much Love from India 🇮🇳❤🇷🇺
I am from Brazil, and people always think we are all from Rio - even when our most popular city is São Paulo. Is nice to see various impoertant cities in Russia. Is a big Country. So I bet there is a lot to show that is not advertised .
It is bcoz Russia won't allow the US to take Russian's natural resources. And Russia already developed hipersonic weapons that the US won't have the next 30 years
I am an international student and have been living in Russia for 3 years and visited many cities in Russia , Kazan is the best city for me and I recommend visiting it in summer and the Tatars there are very friendly and so kind with all and the city very modern and clean and very amazing city 😊 Thanks for video ❤
@@xxx-not666 Yes, in Russia there are many nationalities and indigenous peoples who have their own language, the most numerous have their own republics, not only Russians live in Russia
Honestly impressed me Yekaterinburg and Sankt Petersburg. Rostov on Don looking very beautiful too. My friends visited Russia before 4 years,I was invited but I can't get vacation in this time year. Best regards from your little Slavic brother Bosnia 🇧🇦.
@@yearight6294 About 40% of its population is on the other side of the Bosphorus in Asia. Only about 10m live in Europe, which is less than Moscow has.
I have traveled to Russia 10 times over the past 20 years. I have been to Moscow, St. Petersburg, Kazan, and Yeketerinburg several times. I have traveled to many smaller cities of the Golden Ring region northeast of Moscow, which should not be missed on a longer vaction to Russia. - My personal favorite is Yeketerinburg!
St. Petersburg is my choice, I already live in second largest city named St. Petersburg it's the one in Florida so getting a chance to live in the original St. Petersburg would be a dream.
Up until 7 months ago when I first started to watch Russian Plus as well as Yeah Russia and Eli from Russia (and others), the only cities I knew about in Russia were Moscow, St. Petersburg, and Vladivostok. What I really like about these and many other cities in Russia is the blend of old architecture with new architecture. And the fact that these cities are very clean and modern and people friendly. I'm also impressed with the content and quality of the videos produced by Russian vloggers! You guys are spreading good will, as opposed to the news media that tends to spread ill will. This world needs more good news, not bad news, so keep up the good work.
@@TejendraBaruwal Vladivostok, is a port city in Russia. It was named for/after, Vladimir Nikolaev. It over looks the Golden Horn Bay & it's near the borders of China & North Korea. It is also famous for Russia's Far East State University.
@@lataviawilliams8986 Thanks and I knew it already. I was just asking why it's not in top 10 Russian cities. From my childhod I knew Moscow, Leningrad/Petersburg Siberia, ,Volga and Vladivostok. Of course everyone knows vodka!
@@lataviawilliams8986 Sorry, but Vladivostok in Russian means "possessing the East", nothing to do with some Vladimir Nikolaev. By the way, who is this enigmatic person?
I visited some of them like Osmk, Yekaterinburg, Nizhny Novgorod, but also Moscow and Novosibirsk. Yekaterinburg struck me for the beauty and care of the urban spaces, very well served and well maintained, besides there are buildings architecturally very interesting. Omsk impressed me particularly because I didn't expect it to be so nice, neat and clean, especially the city center.
Yekaterinburg is an industrial 🏭 sector with extremely unhealthy environment for people living there; Moscow is an administrative centre that robs and regulates the budged of the whole country and looks down at other Russian cities where you have traveled . That’s all one needs to know about Russia.
@@australialife2153 Let me guess. You’re a Russian who was kinda brainwashed by western media and moved to Australia to just hate on anything Russia. Typical 🙄
@@benmm01 I’m American now happily living in Australia . I’ve been living in Moscow for 8 years and that was the most depressing time as the city is boring and ugly .
@@australialife2153 What brought you to Moscow if you’re an American. Moscow has changed a lot in recent years and it’s actually quite beautiful these days)
For me when it’s comes to Russia, Kazan will always be fav for obvious reasons. I lived in Kazan for 1.5 years and loved every moment of it. Couple of fun facts which was not mentioned in this video about Kazan. Kazan is considered as the 3rd capital and the sports capital of Russia. Russia is my Country in Law and Kazan is where I met my wife.
Russia has such beautiful cities! I would choose St. Petersburg as a nice place to live, but they all looked great. Thanks for a wonderful video. I would like to hear more of Russian history, as we Americans don't know much about it and the American media have given us a negative image of Russian life. Thanks again for such a wonderful video!
Russian history is much more complicated than American history, because it goes back a long way in time and has had an abundance of dynasties, governments and wars. That stated, you are asking a huge favor to have Russian history explained. As a good option, there are really good videos on RU-vid that has well-produced documentaries about Russian history.
Not all cities in Russia are so great. Like for instance, Yekaterinburg is an industrial 🏭 sector with extremely unhealthy environment; Saint Petersburg is depressing, dark, grey and rainy 365 days a year. Moscow is an administrative centre that robs and regulates the budged of the whole country and looks down at other Russian cities. That’s all one needs to know about Russia.
Been to Russia twice, both times I visited Moscow and Samara, beautiful cities with a lot of history. Really enjoy your video's, keep up the good work!
lot of open space for public - it is true for some cities but not for Moscow (I have been living here all my life) - too many people here. There are more people in Moscow than in whole Siberia
@@JM-fo1te we have about 190 LOCAL nationalities there, in Russia... The ancestors of these people lived on the territory of modern Russia for centuries and millennia. Sometimes the inhabitants of the Caucasus are called "black", although people with Asian appearance have the same black hair and dark eyes. But it was the men of the peoples of the Caucasus who most often loved in the 90s totally black in clothes...
4 years ago, in 2018, i wanted to learn about Russia and it's population and geography and where people live. The 2018 world cup really helped me with that :)
I have been to 7 of these 10 cities. I must have visited your home town if Ekaterinburg over 2 dozen times in the last 15 years. They are: Rostov on Don Samara Chelyabinsk Kazan Ekaterinburg Sant Petersburg Moscow. I must say Sant Petersburg was by far the most beautiful, almost like a modern city in Western Europe. It has attractions like Bielly Noches, white nights, Nevesky Prospect and also little satellite cities like Petergof and Pushkin. However, I love Ekaterinburg the most specially after the roads and the cars get cleansed in Spring. Can't put years of travel to such a large and multicultural country with 24 Republics (incl. DPR & LPR) I ❤ RUSSIA. 🙏
Nice Video, Slava! 👍 My favorite is St. Petersburg 🙂Boulevards, canals, beautiful riverside streets and curved bridges. One of the most beautiful cities in Europe!
Very interesting. Many folks in other parts of the world are uninformed about Russia. I've only lately learned a little...watching your videos and those of some other Russian RU-vidrs. Thanks...well done. Also some interesting info in the comments.
ive been in 4 of these cities thanks to my russian friend -moscow,kazan,nizhny novgorod and St petersburg. Each of these cities has its own beauty and i did meet people from moscow,st petersburg and n.novgorod -i really love moscow and st petersburg -its about the people walking really late at night and feeling safe (i was there during mid august 2018)same for kazan. if i had to really choose between these 4 mmm it could be moscow :)
There are many cities in Russia and what they have in common is certainly the cleaning of the streets, besides their beauty. I have been impressed by Nizdji Novgorod. Thank you for this information

Hermosas ciudades, cada una con su impronta.
I am from Warsaw and visited Russia few times but I do love nature so my favourite place will be Irkutsk and lake Baykal! Amazing 🤩 but I did like Vladivostok because of water and the city is very hilly what give lots good impression! Kazan is also is very beautiful 🤩 But for short visit I love Moscow as you said you never get bored in this city !
I couldn't name just one, they all looked so pretty. I wish people knew more about the beautiful parts of Russia and not always about fear mongering. If I had to pick one though it would be Kazan.
Yep, Kazan looks really interesting. Russia is such a wild & beautiful place. Like most other places, corrupt politicians cause problems but the majority of the citizens are good!
Greetings, Slava. Impressive video! I have been watching your channel as far back as 2006 when I used your teaching videos of the Russian language, which at the time I was studying prior to my trip to SPB. (I flew from Canada to SPB in December 2006 / January 2007 to watch friends of mine dance at the Mikhailovsky Theatre. Needless to say, I attended performances at the Mariinsky for the 11 days I was there.) Besides all the other commercial language programs I was using, your videos were the best constructed and conducive to learning the language. You must have been an educator in a previous life because you have the gift of teaching. Bravo to you. I will keep watching you fabulous videos.
Your videos of Russia are all fabulous, with great and pertinent information. The Russians seems so happy, busy and content. Your English speaking is awsome-no accent, excepting a slight US southern accent. David, San Diego
Sadly, during public school attendance here in the USA, I was taught almost nothing about Russia or the Soviet Union. I did have several classes however covering my home state of Texas. Haha. Thanks for addressing my ignorance.
Places I've been to in Russia: Moscow, St. Petersburg, Kaliningrad, Volgograd, Kazan, Nizhny Novgorod, Veliky Novgorod, Yaroslavl, Vladimir, Suzdal, Sergiyev Posad, and Voronezh....... the first half was for the World Cup, but got in some of those golden ring towns too....
When you mention Yekaterinburg, you forgot to mention an interesting event that a Lockheed U-2 was shot down right above Yekaterinburg on May 1st, 1960 and the American polit Francis Gary Powers was captured. ;)
The best place I would like to live be Kazan, but for work purpose I would choose Moscow, however I am so jealous that Russian have a lot of spaces to live in, if I were move to Russia I will certainly build my own castle 😄. But a suggestion @Slava, how good would it be if you include a location for each city showing on the map... Just my thought. Great content overall. Hope to see you soon again.
It's ironic you say that) I just moved from Moscow to Kazan. 15 years in Moscow and a week in Kazan. Moscow is in a decline right now: seriously bad traffic and the ecology sucks. There are fewer and fewer green spaces giving way to apartment blocks. Kazan is one of the fastest up and coming cities in Russia.
@@wellardme Well, I won't agree on "Moscow is declining" at all - the transport infrastructure has doubled if not tripled since the times of Luzhkov, and I can see any problems with green spaces
Awesome video, very informative Slava...I have been to 5 of the cities. Hopefully this summer the family can visit a few more. I would love to visit Smolensk and Veliky Novgorod, Sochi, and Suzdal, but Moscow is my favorite so far.
Love this! My favorite is Novosibirsk, although Yekaterinburg is on my list of (Russian) cities to visit since discoverying your channel. Thx again. Poka-poka ✌🏾
Nice video! As you said people generally think that only Moscow and Petersburg are the cities in Russia . But there are other great cities like Yekaterinburg and Kazan.
Great piece Slava. I visited Moscow and Leningrad in 1991. It was fascinating experience for me. As an American, I appreciated looking in as an outsider but many of the tours only went to Moscow and Leningrad. I would love to visit these cities in Siberia and Volga region. I'm also glad you visit America and enjoy your travels in my country. Please call Vladimir and arrange a ZIL Limo to be sent over and a couple souvenirs being a Federation Council and a Duma Deputy tri-color pin. Spasibo vam Bolshoi.
I love your channel. Good job. Very educational. Please share a lot more. Could you share a lot more about Siberia & Far East region like Kamchatka and Vladivostok?
Nice video, its good to learn about these cities, I travel a lot, well before the pandemic and Russia has always been on my list , planned on visiting during the world cup but missed my opportunity, beautiful country.
I would also add Krasnodar which is named the most comfortable city for living in Russia for several years already and currently the third most popular destination for inter country migration after the two capitals. Also Tyumen is worth mentioning which is the richest large city in Russia with salaries surpassing even Moscow ones.
Samara and Kazan look beautiful. Would love to go Russia, but definitely need to learn how to speak more Russian than just introducing myself first lol
Love your channel, I've been a subscriber for years :) I love that you share so much about Russia. Always unbias and informative. Thanks for a great video. Just a curious question, How did you find the average salaries? and what would you describe as an average job that would pay $669 in Novosibirsk and $1577 in Moscow? :)
Finally the average salaries was a matter of finding the right article. Regarding the salaries. That's something that an entry level sales position would pay you. Say, at a car dealership.
Great video, comrade!)) And amazing comments from foreigners who have never been to our country - as if I'm reading comments about Mars or another planet of the solar system!))) We are smiling with my pet Bear now, he is playing the balalaika, and I am repairing my Kalashnikov assault rifle. And in the evening, we will definitely drink vodka with friends and their pet bears for world peace and for our Western friends!))) Guys, welcome to Russia! You need to know one simple thing about a trip to our country, I'll tell you a secret. How much you are afraid and worried about traveling to Russia - you will be pleasantly surprised by the same amount when you come here! Sorry, I wrote through a translator. Peace to all, comrades! Welcome! Andrey.)))
Very interesting. I had expected to Krasnodar and Kaliningrad to be on the list. I would bet it won't be long before Krasnodar climbs into those ranks.
Love the channel. A solid voice of reason and reality. Wonderful videos, professionally edited. Always informative and entertaining. So different from the propaganda spewed by western media. 👍
You did all the videos? Looks very professional! I would have to go with Rostov-on-Don, looks like a very nice place, and because it is an agricultural city, and the climate is warmest.... -31°C record winter low not my type of warmest 😉, but the general summer temperatures seems to be acceptable. All these are very nice places!
@Akato Packed and on my way!!! Oh no wait, winter temperatures where I am get to 10°C, maybe 5°C on a bad day, Summer is between 22°C - 27°C, very hot day will be 32°C.... summer nights 15-17°C, don't have clothes for that weather.
