A hint for the s&k lava reef boss is that if you pick up the 🔥 shield you find on the way down the lava can't hurt you do it's just his missiles you have to avoid
I think it's weird to say that the developers of Black Knight should have told you how to defeat the boss. Finding stuff out like that is what I enjoy about replaying games
I'm not saying they should have told us how to defeat the Earth Dragon. I'm saying they should've give us a better clue of how to do it. Slashing that nearby pillar is a poorly hinted at clue because in the previous phases, all you had to do was just run up and slash the horn. Not to mention the pillars are on the dead side of the arena, an area where every normal human is not likely to stick to, especially on their first run through on the thing. Heck, I didn't even know that was the way it was supposed to be beaten until another RU-vidr pointed that out.
Did you just say Lyric had a _good_ boss battle? There's no invincibility frames, if you get hit twice in a row, you die. That alone made the boss fight bullshit
10) Haven't played that game, simple on what to do, but not sure on the attack standards on where the arrows come from. 9) Annoying boss with the health on the horn, but was lucky to cut the pillars down as I didn't know that on my first few tries. Guess I got lucky. 8) Short, simple, and to the point. It hardly qualifies as a boss fight. 7) Again, haven't played that game too, and it looks like childs play compare to the lava around you. 6) Definitely a literal time waster, and a bad one at that. 5) Didn't play the game, nor care about the Boom Universe (except for some design). 4) Haven't played, but I can understand why of the lack of health complaint. 3) Haven't played CDs, but really? A treadmill room with spikes walls and balls, and a stand literally on it? 2) Like I said with others, I haven't played Lost World as it looks uninteresting. And considering I heard worst on the 3DS version than the Wii U, yeah... No. 1) The game isn't worth my time and I find it far too late to be in the game with the trilogy finished in the mid 90s.
That was like, 40 yrs ago so it’s not because if you play the game on mobile it TELLS you when the game on console was made & the year the version on mobile was made. I don’t disrespect your opinion Sonic universe world of gaming

If I may ask about the "inconsistent health" of Metal Robotnik, did you count the hits from the launched arm darts, because I don't think those hits count. Just thinking deeply here. I feel bad for you for the major life losses in the fight, i mean 133 lives lost, HOLY CRAP, that is a lot more times than I have ever been stuck on any boss not from Sonic, but I am still going to play Sonic The Hedgehog 4 Episode 1, just to see it for myself. Love your list, by the way and your channel, though I have only watched your videos that contains Sonic. Keep up the good work on your videos in general.
Honestly, I died so many times on that fight I brought it down to an exact formula First you hit him once by just jumping on him and get an extra hit with a homing attack rinse repeat, when he gets to the electric shield phase make sure you charge up a spin dash so you can dash underneath him when he’s freaking out and jumping left to right or vice versa, when he shoots up an arm, only hit it once its stuck in the ground, it doesn’t damage you when its stuck to the floor thus you can just hit it a few times and stun Metal Robotnik, rinse repeat a bit more, once you get to the final phase with the egg viper rip off attack, try following the cursor which signifies where he’ll drop down, if you’re successful, just walk away a bit to avoid getting hit and just do the last homing attack Each and every part of this strategy has been tested by a man who is now insane from fighting this damn thing
I kinda like the music to metal robotnick , it gets me hyped up a little and as of this comment (Since I haven't played Sonic 4 at all) it's probably the only good thing about the boss

133 lives. I didn't even use that many lives to beat Sonic Unleashed Final Boss which was the hardest Sonic boss in my opinion. No platform Sonic game should take you that much.
Oh yeah, that (censored) hand is so annoying...... It's an insta-kill, even if you have rings, the laser and spikes are may be minor threats but still..... It took me about more than 5 hours to beat that😅

There is a glitch I did in the egg and boss fight in flying battery zone when I use the flame boost of the fire shield I got past through the barrier when egg and was there controlling the machine I hit egg and and then it just said sonic got past through act 1
Well, i just fought S4EP1's Death Egg Robot. 3 times. What you have to do is jump at him and then Homing Attack. When it lands, you jump and Homing Attack and stand far away from it to dodge its hand launch attack, because it can do that, walk again or go up to do the stomp again. Ok, now the most important thing that i see people do that's stupid in this fight is: When the hand lands on the ground in the 2nd phase, jump at it, don't homing attack it. People homing attack it which takes really long. Just jumping at it is way faster. And people complain about Sonic 4 Episode 1's gameplay, while in reality, they just suck at the game. But yeah, i agree that this Death Egg Robot is bad. Probably the worst final boss i fought in the Sonic Franchise yet. While the original one is not that great either in my opinion, it has one or more advantage(s) compared to the Sonic 4 Episode 1 version.
There is a faster way to kill Iblis. Of course, it involved a bug; clipping out of the level; and falling so far down to *just* above an arbitary kill plane, then triggering Iblis to teleport to you, where he'll use his 'dive from under you' attack. Iblis spawns below the kill plane and... despawns. And you win because the game goes... 'duh no boss? Boss must be dead.' Sonic '06 is somehow programmed well enough to not fall apart despite all of the bugs in it.
Sonic Ace 24 personally it's kinda what the fans "classics" wanted it's just that sega was focused about modern that they added the homming attack and all about the controls and all
I'm surprised you completed all of these. I'm a big Sonic fan, but I don't continue playing if it's terrible. Like Unleashed. And I didn't even both with Lost World or Boom, except the 3DS one, the reviews were just too bad for me to spend what little money I have. And Hell I couldn't beat Sonic 06 or Secret Rings, there were too many times that I'd get through a really difficult part ...only for it to glitch and start me over in '06, and I just wasn't good enough at Secret Rings. I never bought Sonic & the Black Knight, should I?
My thoughts on each entry 10. I agree that the fight was a bit too easy 9. I love Sonic & The Black Knight, but I hate this boss so much 8. I always thought that fight was a complete joke 7. You should have brought up the flame shield as it makes the fight even easier 6. I don't like this fight, though I use the lava trick to get through it quicker. As for bosses in Sonic 06, I really dislike the fight where you play as Silver while fighting against Shadow. 5. I really like the final boss of Sonic Boom: Rise of Lyric despite it being too easy, but the one in Shattered Crystal looks lame. 4. I remember loathing this fight when I replayed Sonic Adventure 2 last year. 3. I don't have any interest in Sonic CD, & this fight doesn't look good. 2. I have not played the 3DS version of Lost World (aside from the demo) 1. I honestly can't remember if I had ever fought this boss before.
The second Tails vs. Eggman fight isn't too bad. After watching this video, I beat it on my SECOND ATTEMPT and was very disappointed because it wasn't nearly as hard as you made it sound. All you really need to know apart from the basics is how to dodge his BIG FRIGGIN' LAZAR BAAAAHHHHH!!!
I'm lost ten lives on the metal robotnik IT was EASY and NO I wasn't playing on the season 2 I PLAYED on 4 I just re Peter the same strategey dodge his attack but in the mad metal robotnik one I just repeated the same thing non screen IT took ME 28 trys so it was 38 lives not that much eh
You do know Metal Robotnik is from the OVA movie and this is just another death egg robot, right? Also, he isn't even called Robotnik anymore but Eggman so why would he call his machine Metal Robotnik?

you're actually wrong about the second tails and eggman fight. Eggman and Tails will still have his health upgrade even if you don't play as one of them first.
