Welcome to my biggest vid in channel history (by a large margin)
Capcut lagging had me losing my mind, so there's most likely a ton of editing errors, but that's just how it goes sometimes

yeah its really sad to see especially considering I wasn't listening to NCS back when it got those high views, so I wasn't around for the glory days and have to settle for the far less popular version of NCS. unfortunate

I remember the Nurko remix of Paper Crowns took a few months to get a million views. Nowadays it takes a few years for a song to get a million

yeah its wild how fast the view growth of NCS songs were only a couple of years ago, honestly sad just how much it's diminished outside of a few select songs :/ also it's an honor to have you checking out my channel considering the insane vids you've pulled off in the past :)

I was into NCS back when it only took a day or two for a song to get 1 mil. It's really sad seeing just how far NCS has fallen, it was my childhood.

A million views is like 150k-200k nowadays (in terms of how fast it gets reached) basically which is sad Even as recent as 2020 every song got 1 million views within a month or even a week

Really had to admit with my newly passed earphones from my best friend, my music experience has gone up a lot thanks to the atmospheric sound and thick basses these thing give me:) Lost Language and Like Me are exceptionally great with these earphones like wtf, they're so underrated And it seems the views of the least viewed NCS songs every year follows the downward trend, which is sad to see:(

I have been waiting for someone to do something like this, I'm so passionate about the least viewed ncs songs that I made it my megacollab for 2020 lol ranking the least popular ncs song each year: 2013: Skyline - 78/100 2014: Only Us - 94/100 2015: Reflections - 92/100 2016: Moonstruck - 97/100 (most successful year for ncs, view-wise) 2017: TSU - 87/100 2017: (real winner) Higher - 70/100 2018: Paper Crowns (Nurko Remix) - 24/100 2019: dreams but goofily spelled: 3/100 2020: Can't Let You Go - 96/100 - it sounds like another nostalgic song but I can't quite put my finger on it 2021: The World Is Out - 89/100 2022: Wish You The Best - 100/100 2023: 8 Rounds - 79/100 (grew on me massively) how did you collect this data? I might do something similar like this one day ;)

Love to hear that you and I share a passion for it, and love to see the love for Wish You The Best & Moonstruck! I went through every song from every year manually to get the general view count (AKA something like 290k or 1.4M), then if there were songs tied that got to over 10 songs I checked their exact views until I narrowed it down to 10, then I recorded all of them in a google docs with their exact views and likes :) I would love to see you make a video similar to this, as they're really interesting to watch!

yeah i know, but tracking the views of deleted NCS songs is difficult, and views are skewed a lot of the time cause you cant see how they progress over time not to mention even if/when they're reposted on another channel, they dont get even close to as many views as they would've on the main channel, so it would make the video much more uninteresting then just using songs that're still up on the YT channel hope this explanation helps :)

yeah it seems that the later in the year the songs are the less views they have compared to the rest of the songs from the year, especially in the more recent years
