Wow, this video is stupid good. I've been studying a lot the format and even wrote an article about it, and even then I learned some good stuff from this short video. Great content! I'm excited for the videos for the other heroes in the Runaways channel!!
Great list of tips, I was struggling to figure out why I just couldn't get there in my play group, this definitely helps identify the issues in my draft.
Great vid! Can agree with a lot based on my own MON drafts. Although I do think you are a bit too strict on what you want to do with the deck. It all depends on context of the specific draft pod and your opponents deck. E.g. you can easily fatigue chane, if there are multiple chanes in you pod and none of them drafted the nut 20 arcane deck. And also take care about what prism is pitching. They might stack something like warmongers + big non phantasm attack, to get multiple cards from you to block and protect their shields better. But honestly, there are so many gameplay decisions and discussions, this format went way up for me, comparing it to when I last drafted it more than a year ago :)
Nice vid! I've been approaching some of this slowly but I dont get to play often enough. It feels like there's usually less than 25 brute/shadow 6's available in a typical box so should there only be 1 Levia in a pod by default?
The other heroes will have guides soon on the @tcgrunaways RU-vid channel. Great work! Chane suffers the most from bad card quality, so he can def be tough to have a good run with. Look out for extra go again attacks, arcane damage, and a healthy amount of Blood Debt!
A Dread Scythe Chane deck doesn't shackle, just blocks 3 and swings weapon. It's the only real fatigue deck in the format, and it's very hard for Levia to beat. A Levia deck only has two to three plays to get over full blocks, so a deck that doesn't take ever take trades can shrug off that turn and run you out of threat.
@@ManSantFaB Awesome to hear this is a legitimate strategy in draft. I played a deck like this in in a monarch sealed side event at the very first pro tour since I scrubbed out of the calling and managed to win a bunch of tickets for a yorick. Didn't think it would be viable in draft with better decks
Too little to late; I sold everything once they stopped supporting her. Now the local community of fnb is dead and even if I wanted to get back into the game it would be impossible
Agh, really sorry to hear that. It's been tough to believe in her as of late, but I promise you dusk till Dawn is juicing her up! Hopefully you find an avenue back in, the game and community is still great
