You've had the 1DC in your kit for years and years now. Curious about your thoughts on it these days... I have one as well but it's getting used less and less compared to my newer Canon bodies. I would have thought that having a flippy screen would help when you're inside in close quarters. Always enjoy the content!
Interesting Shane! I did not know your first name was Luther! On another note, this is a great list! I can see how some might say, "ah, I don't need all that! I've done X number films, and not used a single one of those!" But, can you say you've been a dept head on a feature for a major studio and not used those tools at least once?? So anyway, great info, I'm saving this to my location scouting playlist!
Had a first AC get mad at me for using a green lazer pointer like that saying it could fry the camera sensor. Thoughts? Obviously you had to use it in this video for an example but do you usually use the laser pointer around the camera or is that specifically just for tech scouts?
