TOP 10 MARTINIQUE FOODS
Hello my fellow soulmates and food lovers - the last two months on Martinique I gathered my top 10 must-eat foods of this island and put them into this video for you to check out. Hopefully, you will get the chance to watch it before your vacation ends to know exactly what to look out for. I love the food on this island (even though it is quite pricey)! ❤ This will also be the last video from beautiful Martinique as I am moving onwards to another adventure in South East Asia - so exciting. 😃 Merry Christmas to you all and I hope you spend some amazing days with whoever you love and cherish in your life! 🎄🎉
Lots of love,
Eileen

The sauce is called “sauce chien” because of the knife with the dog carved on it, the couteau chien that we use for chopping up the spices

Very good video. It's good to see that visitors from Britain come here in MQ and learn to appreciate local food. 👍👍 If I may, you made a mistake in your video : this coconut based dessert is called blanc manjé coco, not blanc manjé DE coco. Coco has a double meaning in creole, it means coconut but it is also another word that ppl use to designate men's intimate parts, so when you say blanc manjé DE coco it sounds that this dessert is based from that, if you get my point.... 😅

Hi can you make a video about the salads that are made on the islands. I have been to Guadeloupe 2 times with my family and now we are planning on going to Martinique. The blood sausages I thought was made up of cows blood cooked in roll?
@EileensKitchenStories
@EileensKitchenStories 5 лет назад
Hey there, thanks for your comment. 😊 I am not on the island anymore but when I head back I will try the different salads. What do you think is so special about them? 😊 The boudin creole is pork blood mixed with pork fat, bread crumbs, and spices eg cloves, allspice, chilli powder before being stuffed in casings. It's lightly boiled in water before you eat it. 😊 Delicious! Hope you enjoy Martinique!

What the fuck? Haiti doesn’t have a monopoly on cooking. You should know that the Caribbean has a similar culture more Haiti was a French colony, it is logical that it has similarities with other French departments.

At 1:45 : what country is that ? This is NOT Martinique. But Sri Lanka. You could have put a map of Martinique since your video is about Martinique. This map is misleading.
@EileensKitchenStories

Hey there, if you listen closely I talk about Sri Lanka in that part of the video because that is where the Colombo originated from and was brought over, so it made more sense to me to show the Sri Lankan map. :-)
