NEW READERS + FF by Hickman ? Mmmh 🤔 something sounds wrong to me, but idk what. I’d rather recommand Mark Waid’s run for new readers, imo it’s a better jumping on point
I've just started getting deep into comics but I'm starting with the first notable runs of all the characters I'm interested in. So for something like X-men I've got almost of the Claremont, Lee, Simonson era.
Have you read Daredevil by Brubaker? I just read Bendis V2 and then Brubaker V1 and I have Brubaker V1 above Bendis 2. I just got in Bendis V1 today and is on my short list to read. Also gotta love uncanny x-force! Surprised you didn’t have Thor by JMS, great artwork and good Introduction to the character for modern era!
You definitely love uncanny Xforce it’s pretty dark. The writing is good and the art is some of my favorite in comics. The Nightcrawler Shark Bamf is EPIC
Great list. If I had to pick one beginner Omnibus it is Annihilation/ Annihilation conquest. The former is my favorite CB event and the book does a phenomenal job going over marvel cosmic; who are the key players and the storytelling is fantastic.
I got Annihilation recently as my second Omnibus (Daredevil by Miller Companion was my first.) I was actually really disappointed with Annihilation tbh considering the hype. Some of the tie-ins were really bad and I am NOT a fan of the art, but Nova was awesome.
Uncanny X-Force was the first omnibus I ever bought. And its still #1 in my collection. No Avengers tho? Lol, I'm a lil salty cause they are my favorite team. The books in your top 10 that I don't have are Cosmic Ghost Rider, Venomnibus, and the Marvel Zomnibus(which is getting a reprint btw), I have Star Wars by Jason Aaron but haven't gotten around to reading it.

Good list. I know you only picked books that you owned but I would have used Spider-Man vs Venom instead of Venom omnibus vol 1. Its a good book but the Spider-Man vs Venom one is great. Also while FF by Hickman is great, my choice would have been FF by Byrne vol 1. That was my introduction to their comic book adventures and it contains some of my favorite FF material ever. Both are great jumping on points for new readers though.
Thanks for the heads up! I’ve been focusing more on my backlog these days and not so much reprints and new releases news. Some good stuff coming from what I’ve heard in the community.
Personally I’ve gotten quite a few books off Amazon and never had a problem. They also have a good return policy if it’s from Amazon and not a 3rd party seller.
Ultimate Spider-Man I still haven’t picked up the art was kind of a turn off for me but I have heard lots of people rave about it. I’ll have to check that one out soon. Thanks for watching 🙏🏻

Venomnibus volume 1 is honestly trash! It’s a chore to read and a lot of stuff that isn’t good really. Apart from nostalgic value, I wouldn’t have it in my collection. Doubt I will ever re-read it. I wouldn’t recommend anyone new read it.
See that’s how I feel about volume 2 I would’ve had Spider-Man VS Venom Omni on the list but I don’t own it yet unfortunately. But that definitely collects better material.
