One of my favorite parts of this series is how the school jocks are on Mob's side, encouraging him and having his back, instead of being the lazy school bully stereotypes.
Speaking in the perspective of the jock in school. We're not all assholes. Sure we have our moments, but overall we can be very caring towards our fellow classmates. Especially those that are the most quiet. Because lots of athletes have problems outside of class and school, we just have clubs/sports to vent that not many can be apart of.
im pretty sure it was one cameraman per fight. they had to hire a new guy each time since the old cameraguy would usually get killed in the collateral.
@@ghostd.sattop7052 actually Right Now i have the balck Spiderman logo (u know, that one from the spider-verse) But i think imma change back to my normal appearance And yes, you are right, i am everywhere
Mob finding his “parents” bodies and exploding was one of the most terrifying things I’ve ever seen. I was just thinking if it was real and Dimple didn’t bring him back under control this boy was literally going to blow the entire neighborhood up on accident and then kill every single claw member by ripping them into mist with telekinesis. He was well on his way to 1000% or even ???% pure rage and that is terrifying.
15:00 this dude had my respect every time he did something good, but whrn i saw this moment, he became one of my favourite characters, just like Reigen
I just realized that in the fight with mogami, as soon as he turns into "???%" he literally erases every single structure of the universe, and then instantly brings back a fixed version of it.
@@aprettyfunnyperson4516 That pocket dimension is still around the entire city in scale, Mob "lived" there for a while, going to school and such, so it has to at least be the size of a hospitable area which does check out with what we see him do in other scenes.
It's a reality marble inside a marble phantasm which ???% destroys not an actual universe..... Realistically (pun intended) the girl should have become a vegetable from being possessed by Mogami + her psyche being used to stage a singularity + the final cataclysmic collapse of said singularity
6:07 this scene is so amazing, Ekubo is such an important character in the series.. He did a big role on staying by mob's side! And helping him to control his powers!
I was hoping the Mob vs Mogami fight was gonna be in here. That fight was,,,I have no words. One of, if not the best fight scene I’ve ever seen in any form of media. I can’t describe how- for lack of a better word -awesome that fight scene was. It’s one of the scenes I remembered the most from MP100 and I watched this show back in November of 2019. Literally such an amazing story I love its narratives and stuff. I can’t begin to describe it lol.
The question is; mob vs Saitama, who wins?? Saitama has no real defense against espers. No they can’t exactly damage him per say but mob can delete things pretty much. Hmm no prep I’d say Saitama hands down but with prep insta ??? Then I’m not exactly sure as to the outcome
Anthony Prevost it is fun to imagine who’d win but they’re in different universes (I’m pretty sure) so we’d never know. The fight would look cool though.
Lilly Harris I just wanna see Saitama get actually serious for once. In the animewar they gave him a berserker mode which would be badass to see in a legit format as he gets super buff with a reverb voice effect. Plus he fights smart in that form by repeatedly juggling you with power punches. They made it to were he sends his opponent flying then rushes behind them using their forward momentum to double the strength of his punches. Wash rinse repeat until they cease to exist anymore
Just incase you guys want some timeskip: 0:03 - Reigen vs. The 7th Division 1:40 - Shinra(Dimple) vs. The Dragger 4:02 - Shigeo's Rage 6:39 - Shigeo vs. Koyama 8:52 - Shigeo vs. Dimple 11:53 - Shimazaki vs. Everyone 13:32 - Musashi (Dimple) vs. Shibata 16:33 - Shigeo Awakens ???% 19:04 - Shigeo vs. Suzuki 21:17 - Shigeo vs. Mogami
What i like about the musashi fight is that Dimple only came in at the last second, the body improvement club boss was deadass making rocks levitate by the sheer power of his muscles alone
humans normally can only use 20-30% of their muscle strength. only in life or death situations, with the help of adrenaline, their full potential is released. dimple did just that and nothing more.
For me the best moment is hands down when he’s helping the possessed girl and almost loses his way, he showed us how far he’d come the moment dimple reminded him of what’s really important to him. I felt so proud of mob 😭
Honestly I don't know what it was but for me the top moment of Mob was 100% Sadness. There was something tragically beautiful about Mob putting back everything piece by piece and the narrator explaining, "He wasn't able to change."
I like how in the fight with dimple the animation really shows how they're going through two entirely different thoughts processes. Like the very end of the fight where there is a second of blinding light around his fingers before he kills dimple sort of showing that he's literally blinded by his rage in that moment
One of my favorite things about Mob Psycho is the humanization not only of the powers but also of how the powers, as cool as they are, don't have everything figured out. Muscles naturally gained through hard work are better than psychic muscles because you are forcing the muscles to be stronger. Psychic plants aren't edible or at least poor in nutrients and flavor because they are also forced to grow. The people who embraced their powers and held the painful memories that formed them to heart get stronger, but they risk devolving into man children due to their complexes. Literally the final boss of season two is petty and childish, so much so that his son is literally more mature (though has his own complexes, too.) Since Shigeo, Ritsu, Sho, and his Giovanni-haircut dad have the same stockpile power, it stands to reason that their holding on to their issues and bottling it up causes more power. Ritsu and Sho have a decent bit of power, yet lack compared to their family members due to their trauma. Ritsu seemed to have accidentally suppressed his potential, while Sho was basically training from a young age but likely had his own baggage of perhaps never surpassing his father and changing his mind, but due to his younger age, less experience, and a more focused anger towards his father than most other emotions likely kept him from some of his potential. Granted, he also was in tough with his mom and had a lot more time to simmer down with his rage, which could have been part of it, too. Though it is healthier to have that than not. Mob I think could have been way weaker had he not started to suppress literally every emotion and his.powers for fear of hurting Ritsu again, or his parents, Reigen, Body Improvement/Telepathy Clubs, etc. He has several friends now, but the emotional stunting probably was the thing that truly made him utterly broken. Same with Sho's dad, except he suppressed his power likely to have more petty enjoyment in his tear down of society than if he fully went all out (that and his power seems to have a massive drawback when at 100% Output.)
@@niroqiforever5911 it was the “OVA 27” in season 2, so like the episode after the last one. I’m pretty sure it was a special though. In the episode, Reigan is on a call with a client, and when it shows the phone, the profile pic is Saitama
I always loved that Reigen's coolheadness is what Mob would need to control his powers. He had no issue controlling it without training due to his mentality :D
The Mogami saga in season 2 is one of the greatest sets of episodes in any work of fiction ever imo. It's just so well written and an emotional roller coaster
Pretty much any fight in Mob Psycho justifies why we love it so much. The Mogami fight and the Dimple vs Broccoli fight in S3 are some of the best fights in anime
Reigen: "Wait..." Everyone: "Oh my god he's so powerful." Reigen: _"that katana was made of plastic, so what kind of trick did you use on the floor"_ Everyone: *_"Oh my god he's so stupid."_*
15:00 is literally the definition of a brother fr that is a sign to take someone under your wing and don't belittle someone you are definitely an example for them to become stronger while they help you become stronger.
I likw how its implied countless times that 100 isn't even his max. And especially knowing whatever thing is inside (not talking about the surpressd emotions)
