Carrie Underwood singing Pink Champagne. She is the best , and should have been Entertainer of the Year, with all of her shows and Las Vegas Residency. Hardest working gal in the industry and brings it each and everytime. No one is better & more deserving .

It is country music. Just because you deem it not to be does not make it so this is the face of modern country right now if you don't like it feel free to stream Merle Haggard and Jones. But musical genres change throughout the years every form pop and rock and Country all shift all the time. Like I said don't like it they make streaming services for oldies.

These industry shindigs are usually based on chart positions or things like the Ashley McBryde 'Lindeville' album which cannot be ignored despite only being a critical success but I'm not sure how many copies it has actually sold being included in the live show.

I quit watching the ACM's, as well as others a few years back. I caught your top 10 performances and I was reminded why I stopped watching. George Strait and Alan Jackson said it best in one of their country songs, They Committed Murder Down On Music Row!

It's not country music! It's just another award. My time we came up with a good country music Earnest tub Cobb and white twitty Loretta Lynn Tammy Wynette, George Jones etc .... that was country music. Not today it isn't. This is why I don't watch this anymore.
Good God, the people ruining their faces, with facelifts!!! Tanya Tucker was almost unrecognizable!! Trisha Yearwood's weight loss made her look SOOOO FABULOUS---that's not a good color, for her to wear, though. Hardy's performance was H.O.R.R.I.B.L.E---mainly, because there are no strobe lights, in Country music; and, secondly, because he was so drunk or high (or both), off his rocker!!!! DISGUSTING!!! Dolly's performance went to the stratosphere---I don't think I've ever seen her do a production, like that---BEYOND FABULOUS!!!!
