It absolutely breaks my heart that Woo would have won a million dollars of Kas was one second faster and beat him in that immunity challenge because she absolutely would have taken woo to the final 2.
The Kelley vs Jermey immunity challenge was so iconic cause whichever one won that was winning the game 💔 god the parallels between those two were incredible
Actually, I don’t think so. In Kass’s Jury Speaks segment from Cagayan, she said she felt bad for the viewers that she lost immunity because she would have taken Tony. She felt she lost either way because of her move at the merge, so she wanted to make a “flame fest” and a “hell of a finale to end one hell of a season”! I don’t think the outcome mattered at this point.
@@colleenkyle7741 Not surprising that she said that, but she said the opposite during her Jury Speaks video. She also said in an interview that some jurors said at Ponderosa that they would have given her votes (although I doubt that and I don’t know where those votes would have come from since she didn’t specify who). There’s really no way of either of us knowing where she would have went.
I can only imagine how pivotal and iconic the HHH challenge would have been if the F4 twist didn't come afterwards and completely nullify its importance.
@@connorhickson846 Jeff eventually said that the twist wasn't put in specifically for Ben, but it was put in for players LIKE him so they wouldn't be eliminated on Day 38 just because they didn't win one challenge. I still have mixed feelings about it.
Yeah it was a great play but what exactly makes it so iconic? If things had gone as expected that huge Bayon alliance could’ve voted her out at the very next tribal since her and Abi and Ciera were still very much on the bottom. But Kelley’s play after that idol play was equally as impressive especially with winning two clutch immunity challenges
There are very few final 4s that each have four players that are each individually great at the game. Maybe Micronesia, HvV, and I’d saw WaW if Natalie wasn’t voted out first.
Rich explaining Jeff the game will always be a great moment. Jeff truly thought he was throwing away a million dollars. It shows that the players are always steps ahead of Jeff and production
It’s annoying move on how they did it. I don’t think they just added for Ben I’m pretty sure it was plan for the end BUT I feel like they should of said eariler in the season about the twist like at the merge
Do you think she would’ve beaten Sandra for jury votes? I’m also not sure who would go home if Jerri was immune, because I’m sure she’d keep Sandra and go after Parvati or Russell
@@wills3210 Its hard to know because we dont know what jerri would have looked like in front of a jury, but Jerri was targeted for being a jury threat.
@@gcart8534 totally, I agree with you that she should’ve won I just wasn’t sure how it would go down. She had pretty much all the heroes votes except for maybe Rupert and Colby
Jeremy still wins because Wentworth had so many enemies on the jury, unless she sent Jeremy home, then she wins. Tasha didn’t play a strong enough game and Spencer had even more haters than Kelley did, and Spencer played like a coward and wasn’t as cutthroat as in Cagayan. Jeremy was the best player in the season because he pulled off two amazing idol plays and both idols he hid from everyone, and he earned nearly every jury member’s trust even knowing he was controlling the entire game
So nice to see an upload from you. It really does suck we won't have a season this fall, but I hope we get one next spring. It's something I look forward to two times a year. Anyway, I am binging right now on All Access. :D #10 - This was so intense #9 - This was a good one too #8 - I remember watching this when it aired. This was so intense and I couldn't believe what happened #7 - I was so ecstatic when Rob won the challenge. It was satisfying how he had Ashley help him and then he got it from her. #6 - I felt so bad for Kelly. I was rooting for her this season, but it was a great challenge. #5 - I didn't like the end result but great comeback. :D #4 - Classic Survivor challenge. #3 - Oh definitely one of the best final challenges. This was back and forth and I loved it. #2 - I loved this challenge. So many people were so close to getting it. #1 - I think the challenge before this could be tied with the final challenge. This is a great choice for #1. Great challenge to end the season.
Although Rob was the only one who deserved to win that season, If he didn’t win that challenge and ended ip getting voted out, I feel like Ashley would’ve probably won
Rob would've likely lost to Ashley during RI if she sat at the end with him. A lot of the reason why Rob got 8 of the 9 jury votes was due to lack of better options. Philip's behavior meant there was no chance of him winning regardless (even though he did get Ralph's vote), and Natalie was never going to win after riding Rob's coattails the whole game (especially criticized when she voted for Ashley at the previous tribal).
Here’s what I think; Rob had Natalie and Philip wrapped around his finger, and he could literally play them like chess pieces and make them turn on each other. Ashley votes Rob thinking he’s going home, Philip and Natalie vote for each other, and Rob chooses which of them goes home(they were equally undeserving players) but probably sends Philip home because he at least was willing to make his own moves. I doubt that plan would work perfectly, but I think Rob could’ve convinced them to vote someone else other than himself
It’s crazy to think that if Ben didn’t put the u upside down he would have been one of the most loved winners because no one could diss him for the fire making challenge.
I know it's so disrespectful to say his season was rigged cuz like 1. If fire making was just for him then why make it a permanent format change 2. Maybe the editors should've shown the other players looking for idols more so it would seem like he had stiffer idol competition. 3. Maybe the jury shouldn't have voted for him then
@@cocosolis8240 ya it really hurts that everyone puts so much hate on him when he did what he had to do to win the game and he didn’t know a permanent twist was coming and he shouldn’t get hate for the producers choice
I don't really like that he won but i don't blame him for it, i blame production for changing the format, unfairly so in my opinion. Same goes for Chris Underwood tbh
Can I also just say how much I love the fast paced montage in the HHH final challenge? Overall, that is one of my favorite challenges ever because of how much the lead changes and I only put it behind Cagayan and HvV because of how iconic those two are. Just sucks that the challenge's drama was kind of negated by the "advantage" that Chrissy got at the end :/
Note that I didn't do any repeat challenges, for example: 18, 31, 37, and 40 are all the same FIC, 24 and 33 are the same, 1, 3, 4, and 8 are the same, 30 and 34 are the same, 35 and 39 are the same, etc. It didn't really affect my overall choices for top 10 but I just wanted to make it clear because a lot of those repeated challenges are still really dramatic!
Jeremy owned that season Kelley did an amazing job playing from the bottom, but the way Jeremy earned everyone’s jury vote and pretty much used Joe and Keith to get to the end makes him a smarter and better social player
@@wills3210 Woo should’ve brought kassey with him. He brought Tony instead and everybody hated how Woo & Tony teamed. So they would rather have Tony win then Woo.
Thailand had a perfect backdrop as did the whole season as this was a great challenge. the problem was no true competition in the end to solidify it's legacy. if this had a Terry vs Aras or Tom vs Ian this would be remembered a lot more...
I dont know if I agree with that statement. I guess it's because of the Jury pretty much all liking Jerri? Doesn't make for an exciting finale. Seeing Sandra, Parv, and Russell in the final 3 felt right.
My theory is if Jerri won immunity her and Russell would vote for Parvati and Parvati and Sandra would vote for Russell. Russell would win fire making. Jury votes: Coach: Jerri Courtney: Sandra JT: Jerri Amanda: Sandra Candice: Jerri Danielle: Jerri Rupert: Sandra Colby: Jerri Parvati: Jerri
@@SB-jq8jj no way anyone left at that point except parv is working with russell so it definitely would’ve been an all female final 3 with jerri probably taking the W bc the jury wouldn’t have given anyone a second win if it wasn’t russell or someone equally unlikeable sitting next to 2 former winners…my guess is the votes go coach: jerri courtney: sandra jt: jerri amanda: jerri candice: jerri danielle: parvati rupert: sandra colby: jerri russell: parvati
I suppose it wasn't exciting but when Ian jumped off after 12 hours on that buoy I just remember being in utter disbelief. Still the longest challenge to date?
If woo didn’t choose to bring tony in to the top 2, tony wouldn’t be a 2 time champion, if she had made up the half a second difference, she would of chose woo and woo would have won, I’m so fricken mad
During her Jury Speaks video ( ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-RwWfAnFzGeA.html ), Kass actually mentioned that she would've been more than happy taking Tony to the final 2 if she had won that last immunity. She knew that she wasn't going to win anyways, so she would've absolutely enjoyed taking Tony to the Final Two have that Final Tribal Council turn into an absolute flame fest, and watch the fireworks go. Of course, we can only speculate what would've happened given that considering she didn't win that final immunity challenge.
I think kass had a chance against Woo if I were a jurer I would write her name she did a lot and Woo did nothing alone she was a strategist but unlikeable but the jury sucked they were bitter towards her
Really wish Ozzy won that challenge, because no one was rooting for him in the game. Being ousted because of how well he did previously. And think he would have won the season for overcoming those odds. Like he said, "so close, but so far away."
In a challenge like south pacific’s final challenge, I wonder if ozzy is allowed to just run over and look at Sophie’s board after she got a few pieces in? Technically a lot of players look over to other people’s puzzle to get help. Usually it makes little difference but in this case ozzy could have caught up quickly
I seriously considered Palau for the list, but I decided against it since it wasn't too dramatic in and of itself. Just crazy how long it was. I wouldn't say Amazon is super dramatic besides Rob losing.
Survivor Fan yeah probably Ian “quitting” at the last half hour kinda made the challenge a little bit anticlimactic. (Also I have a recommendation for a top 10, the top 10 best winners in your opinion. My list is Tony, Sandra, Parvati, Rob, Kim, Earl, Richard, Yul, Tom, and Brian, Sarah would be 11th)
Only in my memory Penny & the guy with the glasses were a greater competition for Brian. It was his to lose. Like when Ponytail guy (Chris?) was in the final three with Twila and Scout in Vanuatu. Or Sandra v Johnny Fairplay v Lil in Pearl Islands.
My list would be 10. Winners At War 9. Borneo 8. South Pacific 7. Worlds Apart 6. Kaoh Rong 5. Millennials vs Gen X(debatable) 4. Second Chance 3. Heroes vs Villains 2. Heroes vs Healers vs Hustlers 1. Cagayan
I think it was fully intact. That was strategy. I think he distracted Rudy, and that's why he lifted his hand off when moving. He sat out the last immunity challenge and ate an orange and won a million dollars.
I’ve heard she would. The jury didn’t want another winner to win so it wouldn’t have been Sandra or Parvati. And if Jerri won then Parvati wouldn’t have been there. And Russell was never going to win anyway. She had just as good of social game as Sandra to the heroes.
what do you mean jeremy winning was dramatic? wentworth had every right to act however dramatic she wanted because we knew she was going home if she didn’t win
Just remember, if Spencer won the final immunity. Jeremy would have never won and returned for winners at war. Likely would have come back for Edge of Extinction. Wentworth would be on Winners at War.
20:51 HHH We watch Ben rush to correct his upside down "u" and he drops all letter except "HE" and "RS" from Healers and "HU" from hustlers...but in the wide shot, his U has been placed in the right orientation? Conspiracy?
