@@helo793 Yeah I'm crying my eyes out right now because I didn't waste my hard earned money on something with a shiny logo on it because I could get something similar if not better for 10% of the price. Owning luxury brands is alright, as long as you buy what you can afford and don't make it your entire personality because that makes you an unlikeable person.
Well he wanted to control social media and narrative of people online kiddo it’s not always about money it’s about your power and influence at that level money doesn’t even matter to a centi or a double centi billionaire with a wealth of 245 billion dollars like Elon musk!
@@chipsishealthyNot really he could have made another let’s say 10-20 billion dollars additional of his net worth but doing that couldn’t have provided him something which twitter can lol!
Luxury brands are for the poor. Yet those luxury based on their very poor nature western world, very average mediocre western world 😅 Even Oud/Agarwood in Louis Vuitton "Ombre Nomade" is so fake, Louis Vuitton cannot afford real ingredient 😅 Louis Vuitton cannot afford the real original Oud/Agarwood age hundreds of years old like mine 😅 Very poor Japan and France, even your Oud/Agarwood are all fake 😅 Nippon Kodo, a 450 Years Old Incense Company Has Fake Oud/Agarwood 😅 Don't be surprised why those well known artisans and brands worldwide never showed you the tree source but only calling every dark brown oil as Oud/Agarwood, as because they're all using is so random injected young Oud/Agarwood trees (fake oud) injecting with random man-made formula in a bottle into very young trees, raping the very young trees or from illegal hunters with doubtful quality, all they're using is cheap substitute because they cannot afford the real very old pure wild Oud/Agarwood like mine age hundreds of years old on our family private lands inherited for generations. None of them on the equator line, even equator line Africa and America cannot grow Oud/Agarwood but only native to Equator line Indonesia. Perfect looking Oud and must be separated from the rest of the wood = 100% Fake Oud Cultivated Inoculated, Modified, Artisanal, Very Young Tree Injected Unnaturally Adulterated Forcefully To Get Dark Resins = Raping Very Young Trees. Must be separated because the rest parts of the trees are unnatural injected with their self-made formula into the young trees to get resins unnaturally. Hating on them wouldn't exactly help you but yeah, I agree that people turn toxic because they can afford something *branded * which is dumb. People shouldn't judge based on brand name.
It’s satisfying using luxury brands, or having items that are expensive. There are some differences, such as hand made, not outsourced etc. But brands like Louis Vuitton is a scam, you can pay $3000+ for a duffel bag that’s made from a Vinyl, not even leather
Saint Laurent and Gucci are both owned by Salma Hayeks husband and the company he inherited from His father Kerig they also have Balenciaga, Alexander McQueen Bottega Veneta and i think he owns a magazine and tv channel to name a few
I don't understand why people are hating so much on these brands and mostly Louis Vuitton. They say people buy those bags only for status which is wrong. The high price isn't only for the brand name but mainly for the materials used, the fact that it was handmade in good working conditions etc... It isn't a scam at all
I agree 💯. In my opinion, the ones who hate on so much of these brands and mostly LV are the ones who cannot afford it 😂, otherwise it’s like shut up. I like what I like!
@@fobo3361 oh I don’t disagree with that. They both can be expensive in their own right. But not considered “luxury brands .” “Key identifiers of luxury brands are high quality, expensive and non-essential products and services that appear to be rare, exclusive, prestigious, and authentic and offer high levels of symbolic and emotional/hedonic values through customer experiences.” Some others not within the top 10 that I think of would be Gucci, Versace, Armani, Tiffany, and Valentino. Personally, I think most of these brands sell overpriced garbage and wouldn’t want to wear it, even if I could afford it. Call it clever marketing, but people who wear these brands are looking for an aesthetic that makes it look like they have money, when a lot of times they don’t. They usually PLASTER their logos on everything too, to make sure others know you are wearing it (also part of the marketing). I know I’d take Vans and Converse over these “luxury” brands in a heartbeat lol
@@thecreatedvoid117 yeah i always hated logos, plus the clothes are always so lame, if i had that type of money i'd just get some awesome custom made and fitted stuff that actually fits my style
@@fobo3361 you are so right! I would find so much more worth in buying whatever I actually liked (most likely pretty cheap or moderately priced) and having it tailored. Tailored to fit you makes a huge difference!
Honestly if I ever became rich, the only things I'd shop for from these brands are perfumes, because I am a sucker for fragrances, and I feel it's one hell of a form of art, the compositions and all and how they combine a bunch of notes, but.... I might be uneducated but I'd never understand the craze for their merch, and bags and other stuff, like yeah I get that designers put in skills too to come up with that stuff, but idk, i can't explain, but it feels like the sort of investment that I can't completely own, I mean, i can tell people will notice a good fragrance more than a branded purse, and honestly a lot of other purses/ clothes do their job pretty fine
When I can afford, I won't buy brand names, I'll buy for the quality. You can't even buy a t shirt that lasts anymore. Would pay £50 for a t shirt that could last me a good few years
The problem is that nowadays brands don't even create quality anymore, so just going for a brand doesn't necessarily give you a better product. Also "made in Italy" often means just having imported a sweatshop in Italy so they can put that label on
@@tomlxyz yep, ive seen so many brands that used to be good, now their clothing is extra thin & full of polyester. Why make a quality product that last years when you can get your customers coming back for the same thing every couple months. Also, people disliking replicas when often they are BETTER quality than the original. And lower quality clothing means more ends up in landfill rather than being recycled.
Go to cotton traders then and get a 100% cotton tshirt! The mistake many people make with items that are polyester are washing them at too high a hear and tumble drying. I found cotton & modal are really good for summer tshirt then in winter I go for 100% cotton Its also how you treat the clothes when you wash them and wear them. Ive got tshirts ive had for 9yrs or more than are still decent. If you like rock band tshirts Amplified make really good ones.. they are usually £25 ish a go but worth it!
This manz really just ignored all the most famous luxury car brands: Mercedes, BMW, Bugatti etc. and APPLE, the largest company in the world, a luxury electronics company (yes, that’s why Apple products are so expensive, Apple products are luxury electronics)
He's only talking about luxury wearables. When people think of the word luxury brands they usually think of clothes and things like expensive watches or purses.
He put in more effort than was necessary, at least he made the effort to go to the stores. I know it probably didn't take much brainpower, but it's just an informative video
I thought that too but really wanted to do top 10 - ran out of time in a 1 min video to say anything else. Another video coming this week with me actually going into these stores.
My dad's fiancee said she wanted something from Hermes for her birthday or something. Me and him thought it was just some average luxury chain. We walked in, looked at the pricing, laughed and walked out. She got a swift "Hell no"
Designer brands = You pay for the brand name, not for quality nor craftsmanship. Rolex on the other hand is hands down a staple of luxury products. Nothing beats a good ol’ fashioned Rolex.
You’ve never owned a designer brand. It’s about 50/50 in what you pay for. 50% of the price is the quality the other half is obviously the brand. They are very high quality and know of Burberry scarfs lasting 30 years and on because of their high quality cashmere and extremely strict QCs
They don’t though. The net worths of billionaires is the valuation of what they own which includes the shares they own. Elon for example holds tons of Tesla shares but can’t sell them all at once because it would cause the price to drop and therefore he would have significantly less money than his net worth and the business would probably suffer as a repercussion
Louie Vuitton is worth like 370 billion. And that’s with the market currently down. Also fun fact Louie Vuitton owns Dior, Givenchy, Fendi, Hennessy, Tag Heuer, Sephora, Tiffany, and many more.
Scarfs tend to be much better from these brands as well. A Burberry scarf will last you 20-30 years, a cheaper scarf will last you 2 before fading and extensive fraying and will most likely have holes by 5 years
