Honestly, my favorite shoe from the back to the future series isn’t even the Nike Mag. It’s the Nike Bruins. The white bruins with the red swoosh and backtab Marty Mcfly wears are my favorite Nike shoe of all time and to me, very iconic.
For real bro shoe is super underrated definitely was a shoe that stood out to me the most, had way more scenes than the air mag 2 and the fact that the kicks are part of Marty’s outfit for all 3 movies makes the nike bruin even more iconic. Definitely wish I would have got me a pair when they last released in 2015
Dude, the DTRT 3s are the shoes that started my love for shoes. To this day I STILL don't have them in my possession, but those are my absolute dream shoes. Saw a kid wearing them when I was in middle school, and I instantly fell in love. And the rest is history.

One thing I learn the most on this channel are shoes from the 90s/early 2ks that were collected. I wouldn't mind a video a week highlighting a shoe that is relatively rare/collected that isn't well known. I looked up all the DTRT shoes and enjoyed it.

I had the Nike Ultra Force back in 90. White with black and hot pink. I saved for weeks and went to visit them every day after school until I could buy them. Used to dream about them lol..I wish I could go back and keep (clean) all the shoes I spent thousands on...lol, I’m 44 and shoes are still everything to me...my 2002 Ken Griffey’s were the absolute bomb!

I think He Got Game should have been number 1 simply because of the number of dope sneakers featured in the movie and I also think the Air Trainer 3 "Medicine Ball" worn by Mookie in the movie Do the right thing definitely should have also made the list. Air Trainer 3's are Nike's best kept secret. Hey maybe you could do a feature on them. I have been waiting a lifetime for the Clorophyll's to drop. Anyways Peace !!!

Bill Bowerman didn't steal the design. When Nike was Blue Ribbon Sports, he designed for Japanese company, and then when the Olympics came up in Mexico and Nike formed (around the time) they changed the name to Cortez and made a deal that both companies could have the same design of the shoe but Nike would keep the Cortez :D just a small tid bit

Another movies, we might love and should has iconic shoes is, the wonderfuls Adidas country wore by Eddie Murphy in Beverly hills cop, this pair of shoes were a great deal for early morning runners, now days they were relaunched on mid of 2000's, but hard to find them since Adidas dropped the line on leather, some of them are sold on ebay for more than 800$$, and some made out of fabrics like nylon are sold on between 100 and 200$$. Another pair of shoes are the Nike V-series Pegasus same family of vortex, internationalist, etc used in Karate kid by Daniel la Russo. Also we can say another iconic sneaker is Adidas Stan Smith, used in the movie white nights by Mikhail Baryshnikov, and also used by Kevin Bacon in Footloose, they can be seen in the first episode of designated survival by Keifer Sutherland.

I think, Nike Bruin is as iconic as 2015 future Nike in the movie, in fact their are so, that not also their are known as or associated with back to the future, or Marty Mcfly, but also Nike released them again in 2015 as well along with the future's Marti Mcfly Nike , and some of them are still on eBay for a price from 1,500 to 2,000, ironically before the covid19 they were between 799$ to 1,000 $. The Bruin are the main shoes used in the 3 movies, along with the chuck tailor on the first and second, Marti used when he was told to use 50s current clothes. I am sure due to the fact that futures stuff might have brought curiosity to the movie fans, have made this future's Nike shoes become iconic, among the new fans was me, the fact Nike Bruin were available by the moment of this movie released, they were not so interesting at the end they were just a commonly wore shoes, however the last movie was released into 90s, and the bruins were about to disappear from the shoe market, that could give some thought to some fans who keep the old wore out Bruin safe in some box in deeper spot inside the closet, to bring them back some day in the future, and brag about them. By Forrest Gump release, I ran to some people who believed that Forrest Cortez shoes were the same used in the back of the future movie. By that time I believe Bruin were gone. By the 2000's they were mistaken with the Nike blazer low, Nike Wimbledon and Nike Court Royale, in fact for the back of the future reunion and different advertising, the shoes Michael J Fox has wore are the Nike Court Royale ac due to the resemble of both shoes has had since their release, back in 70's.
