Not gonna lie, Parasites are one of the worst things in the world *but* you gotta admit. Nature has given them some incredibly creative ways to infect and kill.
@@SmashtheCmachine The microwave, which you can warm food with, kills any living organism in it, and you've got chemical preparation, lethal to insects.
@@bheathertt You're not wrong. They swim up unplugged noses. Nothing like slowly dying from a parasite that is currently very slowly eating your brains.
There is a parasite that wasn’t listed here called a hair worm. A hair worm attacks crickets only (Luckily) They lay their eggs in rivers that flow down to any cricket that happens to be drinking at the time. Once a cricket drinks up the eggs, after a while the hair worm hatches inside the cricket, and once they do, they exit through the back of the cricket. This causes some...interesting visuals, If you wanna learn more look up “hair worms” there’s plenty of videos on them
These videos are scary but so interesting. You know it's weird I'm not more scared of these videos I love them, I watch horror movies and scary animals so much.
The idea of a living thing burrowing inside your body and using you to survive is a special kind of disgusting. The tongue eating one is terrible as it literally replaces the fish's tongue with itself.
can you imagine what people is going to do with genetic editing? like taking the worst of all of the above an put them in one single artificial being that spawns from hell?
Hi, Im a professor of parasitology and while im very glad you are featuring parasitology content, many of the images and content is either a complete missmatch (ie showing helminth eggs when discussing toxoplasma) or factually incorrect (i.e Mosquitos have nothing to do with bot fly lavae). While no harm is done, is it really the way we want to go? Missinformation is not education and it does nothing to progess humanity.
I thought that botfly’s leave their eggs on mosquitoes and when mosquitoes bite a human the eggs fall off and the heat makes them borrow into the skin..🤔🤔..if you’re a professor of parasitology I’m sure you’d know that as fact..?🤨 Btw, I didn’t get my information from this video, although they are correct, I’ve researched botfly’s in the past and every source I’ve read said the same thing as mentioned in this video..
Toxoplasmosis is as well a documented factor for development of Retinopathy, speaking of eye conditions and permanent blindness. This makes you wonder if many cases of unexplained dry macular degeneration and normal-pressure glaucoma are related to actual issues caused by these parasites strolling around in our bloodstream. The eye blood supply is among the most finest vessels, so it makes sense that blood borne or carried infections of any kind, affect eyesight.
Layla Yellowknee Ofc America isn't the best, how da hell you get that? Yet you people act like America is this horrible place, especially since a majority of you have never been another continent & can't appreciate how good you have it. Go live in Mexico for a year and let me know how that is. Also, I challenge you to name 5 countries better than USA. Again, not saying US is best but can you even name 5 countries better? Shouldn't be that hard.
Madness Jack Personally I don't even see why would anyone be proud of it. I do play a lot of games but I wouldn't proudly call myself a gamer. Yeah I'm so proud to be snow white basement dwelling no lifer. I'm not but I'm making a point why I wouldn't be proud of it.
Giannis Pan - God created all life on earth. Don't make up things that are not in the Bible. Even a bad guess sends our jealous god into a rage. He is a jealous god remember, so don't give Satan credit for parasites. If you make things up then you are deceiving people.
why have i watched this................................................... thats enough internet today time to snuggle up in a blanket and think about life for 4 hours
