Moonflower and Dusklobber is the best combination of plants. Splash Damage, Additional sun produced and attacks in 3 lanes.

TIP: when using parsnips fill a row of them then place tile turnips on the all of the parsnip’s tiles so when there is a big wave use some plant food to quickly clear most of the board

I love thisn list and it is very accurate, but Moon Flower is amazing for what it costs. The plant can make over 100 Sun at the cost of having a 2x5 lane of moonflowers, but it's worth it. I only used it because of how ridiculously good Shadow Peashooter is, but I've moved on to using Turkey-Pult more often, and still have a couple lanes of moonflowers. I will have to test it, or maybe if you want to (or already have), but her plant food power creates a sheild functioning somewhat like Infinut's, and maybe could protect against the same zombies? Not sure but will have to test out. Thanks for informative video, I use Infinut a lot but you taught me stuff even I didnt know :o

I don't get why, but in a lot of instances, it looks like Primal Potato Mine explodes in 3x4 radius or a 4x4 radius, since I saw him killing zombies outside of the 3x3 zone.

I think Puff Shroom deserves an honored mention. Its fast recharge and lack of cost is perfect for stalling while dealing some damage

i freaking love Iceburg Lettuce, i've been using it ever since i got it. Plus, it's freaking adorable

Then you haven't seen the arena plants. Some of the most broken plants ever, they might be even better than premium plants

repeater is quite underrated, it is pretty great overall and i don`t see why people don`t like it. also spikeweed cool too, it is immune to most zombie attacks even skaters and rappers prbo even more and also it cleans out all weaklings if theres no zombie to destroy it

I was definitely expecting Lightning Reed to be on the list, but not this high! I use Lightning Reed almost all the time before I got any seedium/gemium plants. Sometimes when lightning reed doesn't work, I use Rotobaga In Jurassic Marsh I had to completely change my strategy because spamming plants doesn't work, I use Celery Stalker and Bonk Choy and stuff Big Wave Beach I just add Infi-nut and I'm good, and Rotobaga to clear Octopus

Dusk Lobber and Moonflower solos most of the game up to a certain point. Thyme warp for its cost is also by FAR the best free plant. And by quite some bit. While Iceberg Lettuce with a plant food will stun (freeze) all zombies on the board, thyme warp takes this one step further. It takes every zombie from where it was previously, and sends them back to the start. And this is without using a plantfood. Of course, you can also use this plant food to instantly replenish the time it would take for the plan to refresh. The only downside is of course you're not able to use it in much of the game. However, this is probably for balance reasons because it's just a better alternative to every stun plant in the game. And by far. Also what about Tile Turnip? I realise it is very controversial in terms of it's power level, but it is incredibly strong. Let's say you have an Impear and shrinking violet. For the cost of 250 sun, you can allow them to both trigger their plant food abilities after each other. Permanently. In case you don't know, impear makes all zombies boardwide turn into imps, and shrinking violet shrinks imps into nothing (killing them). Another is iceberg lettuce and shadow-shroom. Iceberg freezes them all, and shadow-shroom will then wittle them all down. You can then stack other plants onto the tile turnip train for a super cheap cost. Maybe some dusk lobbers, wintermelon, etc. Also tile turnip is required heavily in arena. Thank you for coming to my Ted-Talk.

When I replayed Plants vs Zombies 2, I didn't use some of the plants that you mentioned. It's because that I think they are still weak, and when I look at it again, Some of them got buffed so much that they can actually become useful on the battlefield

A good damaging plant for those who have way too much sun and an extra seed slot is Maginfying Grass. It costs 100 sun to fire it and from what I’ve seen, it deals a lot of damage by itself. (Can kill a gargantuar (not including imp) in five shots at level one)

It freezes the first zombie that comes into contact with it, exploding in the process. *Iceberg Let Use* is very useful 'cause it allows the player to delay a single zombie, giving them time to produce sun to purchase additional plants.

i agree with lightning being the top here, you can easily plant as many as you can which is devastating,but poison shroom should be added here too, powerful plant food ability and easy strong enemy melter while being a 50 sun cost

Really good and I agree with most of it. But I was really hoping you would mention that if you have 2 infi-nuts it could even completely stop most zombies

I use stallia and that iceberg a lot in early game.so i can plant more sun and if i feel the sun is enough i will put lightning reed edit : i use celery stalker for the second zombie that doesnt got attacked by the lightning reed and in final or mid wave. i will just put cherry bomb i also use infi nut A LOT in neon mixtape tour. but i use it less when im in jurrassic marsh

When you have max mastery iceberg lettuce, pair with imitator, its infinite full board freeze, also winter mint can help

ALSO another Honorable Mention: Magnifying Grass Yes i know it can be expensive in sun but Magnifying Grass can wipe powerful zombies with just a few zap , Magnifying Grass is also useful in some levels where the zombies are hard to kill , Magnifying Grass is also a good plant for Big zombies (i forgot what their called) and yeah

The first five plants and Blover are really the only good ones on this list. Seed packet plants outclass the rest and they’re free if you’re patient

Blover is THE most op plant even compared to premums as with alot of plants like spring bean, chard gard, and primal peashooter you can force zombies to become airborn which you can use to do things like oneshot gargantuars

Disagree about iceberg. Compared to stallia and stunion, the base effect isn’t to impressive. Pf is good, but there are better ones. Plus kernel pult basically has the same pf, and is a good plant. Dusk lobber also needs to be on here. While lightning reed can be spammed faster, it’s efficiency sucks next to lobber. If you stall it can stomp everything just like lightning reed. Also pp is also pretty op, honestly too many op plants. You need like a top 20 to get them all. This game does not have very good balance.

This is my second attempt on getting a shoutout. Also I thought puff shroom will be included. Not only is it spammable but it's plant food activate every puff shroom on the field and is devastating when a puff shroom is high leveled. I guess the downside is that it can die, but it's spammable for a reason

I think Sunshroom is better than Primal sunflower Since you can plant more of them in a shorter period of time and later up they'll provide value equal to sunflowers then primal sunflowers Basically you can plant 2-3 sunshrooms in the same period that you can plant 1 primal sunflower which in a very short period of time outvalue the primal flower

Honestly, Laser Bean deserves a honourable mention - it has infinite pierce AND full lane range, and bypasses almost all immunities, making it extremely good at killing swarms of enemies. However, that isn't the real feature. No, the real feature is that it is a Far Future plant, and thus shares a pinyata with Infini-nut, allowing you to focus a single world and upgrade both the offense and defense of your plants at the same time - and it even happens to both be a world with a fairly low pool of seed packets and a world with a plant that is really good, but only at high Power Plant levels, the Tile Turnip, so you get really good value from your pinyatas if you use it. Oh, and as an added bonus it also happens to be a Spear-mint family plant, and if you could only have one Power Mint, Spear-mint is a serious contender for your choice because its permanent effect when placed is so strong.

Primal potato mine also has an extra rile of range in the north,west,east and south squares

My opinion primal walnut is a must in almost every straight i use because its past refresh speed the zombies cant get to your plants at all

I don’t know how Magnifying Grass isn’t in the list! With lots of sun you can spend on a powerful attack, Magnifying Grass also doesn’t have a cooldown! Plus its cheap sun cost and fast recharge makes it even better.

Heres a cheese strategy to clear the final wave fast, place a minimum of 3 primal potato mines and tile turnips and just have atleast 2 powerups and you can nuke the whole horde fast or a lane of laser beans with tile turnips if you have enough sun

I'm a fan of lightning reed but I definitely dont think it deserves #1. #1 is probably Primal Potato Mine just because of how applicable it is to literally any strategy and how it stays helpful throughout really any level of any world (except big wave beach because of the water and pirate seas because of the boardwalks)
