I was literally just talking about this yesterday with my fiance since I'm on a work trip and have been playing a lot of Shards of Infinity with a co-worker during lunch. Personally, the only digital plays I've ever logged was a bunch of Carcassonne that I had played with someone on Tabletop Simulator (which would be my #6 with 55 plays). I don't log plays from specific app versions of games like Clank!, Mystic Vale, etc. But, I haven't gotten into using BGA and don't know how much it "feels" like a "real" board game to me. No shade, just a personal thing.... Anyway! This would be my Top 5 Most Played: 1. Pathfinder Adventure Card Game (388 plays across all sets, Skull & Shackles having the most at 223) 2. Onirim (197 plays between my copies of the first and second editions) 3. Aeon's End (100+ plays, don't know the exact amount because sometimes base sets are mixed and played together) 4. Gloomhaven (94 plays) 5. Shards of Infinity (64 plays)
Marvel Legendary is mine too. My best friend and I have played every Tuesday night since 2018. Even through the pandemic we would play over FaceTime since we had all the same expansions.
My number 1 played is definitely power grid, my group has played it every week for at least 5 years. Second at this point is probably M44 because of the number of games of it I can play on BGA
My most played games (of the last 5 years since I started tracking): Boggle - 69 So Clover! - 68 Thunderstone Quest - 39 Scout - 35 Terraforming Mars - 30 Brass Birmingham - 28 Seas of Strife - 25 Take 5 - 23 Blockbuster - 21 Ark Nova - 20 P for Pizza - 20 Anno 1800 - 19 The White Castle - 19 Dead Reckoning - 18 A lot of party games unsurprisingly
Dominion was my most played game for a very long time (I started logging plays in 2008). My #1 game of all time, Terraforming Mars recently overtook it though. Of recent releases Imperial Miners have speeded up my list since it's such a great solo game. I only log IRL plays, should I count online plays then it would be Can't Stop. I've played it over 4000 times on BGA and Yucata (it's not on Yucata anymore). But should I include games before I started logging, then Magic the Gathering, Chess and Bridge would be way ahead of Terraforming Mars.
Innovative is my most played by far. I have probably played it over 100 times. What seems so chaotic and one sided initially has a swingy depth of strategy. It's a game in which if you hang in there and seize your opportunities when they arise you can prevail. I only play it two player.
Radlands me and my gf where playing it two or three times a night for a while. Definitely have over a hundred plays just with her. And with friends who knows at this point. Can't wait for the camp expansion 🎉.
We've put it down from time to time, but Dominion is probably our all-time most played. The base is awesome, you can get so much out of it alone. But add in an expansion or two and it just changes the strategies and tactics so much. Such a fun puzzle each time through. Unless there's Sea Hag in the mix
The thing with Turing Machine is that you don’t know what exactly the verifier does. It may check yellow < purple, yellow = purple or yellow > purple and you have to check which one it is, and once you know you can then deduce the number sequence 🙂
