I think Elysian is the most powerful character even though we barely read anything about her. She must be powerful for the council to lock her away like that.
This is my theory about Elysian: Alright so my theory is that Elysian is an experiment by the council. Keefe’s mother said the ancient council hid a great power that allowed for elves to reach their full potential. I feel this great power was unlocked when the council tried to master the roles of the other species. Such as caving (Dwarves), growing (Gnomes), gold making (Goblins), microbiology (Ogres), and this experiment has to do something with the Noxflares. The gnomes thought the Noxflares were a failed experiment but what if the council uncovered something else and after a lot of tests they decided how about we try this on an Elf. But they soon realised the Elf was way too powerful and unstable/didn't follow their orders so they locked her away. The council were looking into what happens when you combine Shadowflux, Quintessence and perhaps that secret 7th element. The combination gave Elysian her powers. The council hid this so now Lady Gisela wants to make this public and make eleves powerful. Now Noxflares were considered a failure by the Gnomes but it must have a bigger role. I think Noxflares absorb the light of the 6th unmapped star and store it inside of them. Fintan might have been burning them to figure out how to “Open them” and to get their power. The flowers produce bright light/energy which shows there must be great energy inside of them. Burning them releases the light or energy back to the star.
This is literally the best theory I’ve ever send in the kotlc fandom. This literally makes so much sense, I completely agree. I’m also rlly interested in who Elysian is and I feel like it’s a character we’ve seen like maybe a councilor? Or someone working with lady Gisela.
I think Elysian is the Keeper of the Lost Cities. I think she was the first elf, therefore she has all the special abilities. The ancient council might have worked with her at some point, but decided that she was way too powerful so they locked her up. Another theory is that Elysian is the living embodiment of the land they called Elysian. That might be how she managed to appear out of thin air, and it might be why it seemed like the land was alive. Because it was
I agree that Elysian is super powerful because the word 'Elysian' translates to "relating to or characteristic of heaven or paradise" and a synonym of he word is Divine.
I find it amazing that half of the people on this list are still teenagers compared to all the ancients and mentors and councilors in the Elvin world but I guess this is mainly about the important-ish characters and a lot of the older powerful elves aren't people we know that well
I really like the idea of listing whose the most powerful because you can actually do a lot of thinking and then make different arguments for different abilities. I like thinking of the possibilities and things like that. Have a dinosaur 🦕
I think elysian is like sort of a person whose abilities are created by accedental experiment. (aka lady gisela) Lady Gisela is playing with this discovery to help her take over the lost cities.
tbh i think linh should be at like the #5 spot, just her pwoer and incredible control she’s shown, i personally think she should be higher than forkle and marella bc if her control and the ways she’s been able to use her ability
Ik this is unrelated, but my copy of Stellarlune FINALLY arrived! And its a paperback. I preordered it it was supposed to arrive in november but it came in february
i think definitly Keef, obviously sophie. Tam and Linh have incredable abilitys but are so underated. and Fitz is a stong telepath. and don't get mad but i think lord cassius is pretty powerful .and alden, prentince, and terigen.
@@kotlcfanbase Only 1 named Mesmer but Marella said in the first book that Mesmer is rare but not as rare as Inflicting so mean more then 1 atleast so it would tie with inflicting but I am pretty sure there are more.
I think this is a pretty good list although i do have some other opinions.Firstly, I don't think Maruca should be on this list.If she's just a beginner psionipath and on the list, where's Ruy?? He's more experienced in the ability and has had the ability much longer than Maruca who got it in Legacy. And don't say the shade hand thing Tam did is why he's not here. If he did that to Maruca, she would be out too. I also think that Marella shouldn't be that high on the list.I think that Tam and Linh are both more powerful and Lady Gisela is arguable. Tam is the most powerful shade in the all the books and was the replacement for Umber, the most powerful shade at that point in the books. Linh saved Atlantis and flooded Ravagog and puts out Marella's flame's all the time. Grady is in the perfect spot but i feel like the Keefe ability is pretty similar. He said that Grady WOULD be one of the most powerful IF he used his ability more.Well, Keefe WOULD be up there IF he used his ability more. I know those are slightly different situation's but the argument can be made. And lastly, I don't think Elysian should even BE in the top 10. We know NOTHING about her and for all we know, she's talentless!! I know that very very unlikely, but its possible. Theses are all personnel opinion's and no hate to the vid. I love Kotlc fanbase and watch it a lot.
Joey, I think Ruy should definitely be top 10. If Maruca is in 10th, Ruy should be top 8; he’s one of the most powerful imo and can control his powers a lot more than Maruca
I just thought of something. What if the council makes everyone in the lost cities go to the same place for a important announcement, then the council and Sophie‘s friends all put ear plugs in then keefe comands the whole lost cites to sleep for idk whatever reason the council wants him too. But like just imagine that
My top 5 (haven't read Stellarlune yet) 5 : Keefe (maybe he will be the first in the end I don't know) 4 : Bronte (because nobody knows how much he's really powerful) 3 : Grady 2 : Sophie 1 : Fintan
I love your vids ! They are Soooo cool! I personally would have put Bronte at probably 7 or 8 because he us really powerful. But that's just me. Also I started laughing when you said Bronte's name. Cuz, I KNOW your supposed to pronunce it B-R-O-N-T-A-Y but I have always and will probably always pronounce it B-R-O-N-T
I agree with the first three, but Tam and Linh should probably be higher up on the list...We repeatedly see how people keep remarking about how powerful they are, and even Lady Gisela keeps rambling about Tam's potential...Bronte and Grady are super powerful, of course, but that is only with experience, not raw power...Also, I'm not even sure Elysian is an elf at this point...She could be a freaking goddess for all we know, so our Mysterious Miss F might still be the most powerful elf in the Lost Cities
On the subject of the Neverseen. The people there are impressively strong like Umber and Vespera like come on! Her illusions? And Linh being a hydrocanectic dose that mean she can blood bend?
If vespera hadnt died she'd honestly be the most powerful character. Although her ability isn't very powerful, she has control over an army (the Neverseen) and she has the illusions
I thought that Fitz would ATLEAST be in the top 5 since he's the second strongest telepath after sophie in my opinion and even ytough he's a jerk, he's extremely powerful
