I totally agree!!! Even Marshall said “would you have done the same for me?” And Ted looked at him with no hesitation. Marshall knew for a fact that’s how Ted shows love. Whether it’s platonic or romantic.
How is "I want those extra 45 days" not even in there?! Also, as much as i hate Zoey, her first kiss with Ted is much more romantic than most of the moments you listed. Also - Ted listening to Tracy singing La vie en rose; Ted making it rain for Robin; Lilly&Marshall's wedding under the tree; Barney's talk with his mom about how Robin means more to him than kids.
Ted saying "Yes, it's my job to cheer you up and you just have to deal with it". And the christmas lights changing and highway to hell song in background. Could it be any more romantic.
Why would he be better off being with someone who messes hm about all the time, making him wait weeks, then moving 4,000 miles away?! She's so possessive that she says he's not allowed to be friends with Robin.
@@davidz2562 she was right though…Ted was in love with Robin. If he couldn’t give her up… their relationship was never going to work….and it didn’t. Sometimes a woman just knows.
@@jessicaalbright7429 Victoria moves 4,000 miles away & says she wants a long-distance relationship, but very quickly starts a relationship with Klaus when she moves there. She's not in love with Ted.
@@davidz2562 I disagree with your analysis, why should she have to choose a guy she knows for short term over a career she likes so soon after they meet…. It was too soon for that level of sacrifice. When they get back together, she sticks around, she loves him. ….but that’s ok. We don’t have to agree, right? Who really cares? Lol
@@davidz2562 I could be confusing the timeline, but didn’t she put that “ultimatum” in place *after* Ted had already cheated on her with Robin? I get that under most circumstances, it is absolutely not okay to tell someone they cannot be friends with someone - The person they’ve already cheated on you with would be a big exception to that. Of course, again, there were white like 10 seasons of that show? With Ted dating and breaking up with multiple different people at multiple different points, going back to Robin over and over and over. I have no idea if he had already cheated on her with Robin at that point, I just was pretty sure that he had.

Ted literally made it rain so he could be with Robin and u not even mention that but mention two breakups?...
@@AKWolf24 Ted’s epic rant to Jeannette about love…and it’s not about his wife… Ted refusing to take no for an answer more than once (Robin, Stella, even refusing to acknowledge he didn’t check plus one on the wedding invite) The Scuba Diver (and really the whole Playbook concept in general) The gang treating Ted’s high minded interests like immature adolescents Barney’s obsession with Weekend at Barney’s Marshall and Lily’s self image that they’re the Perfect Couple with no flaws Those are some that would make my top 10
For me the most romantic thing about the whole series was the wedding in which Ted met Victoria, the drumroll, how she left, the way he found her again, and just Victoria herself was just.. perfect for Ted
I have no regrets in my life. I think that everything happens to you for a reason. The hard times that you go through build character, making you a much stronger person.
Not gonna lie... 2 Min date was extremely romantic... But still it can't beat the Ted & Tracy's (more 45 Days) romantic heartbreaking 💔😭 painful speech.
I just finish watching how i met your mother. I just want to say thank you to this show. It really help me get through some hard times lately, life lessons taught. It hits really hits hard of tracy n series finale.
Really enjoying your videos, it would be cool to see a video on romantic moments in 'New Girl' and it would be so amazing to see a video on the most romantic moments in 'Brooklyn 99'.
@@davidz2562 I know they are unsuited for each other but the lis there but the list was supposed to be top 10 romantic moments and I felt like how they got together was very romantic
I would rank the Christmas lights and finding the locket over the "2-minute date" because he expected nothing in return. The latter was a bit manipulative if you think about it: "That's how you turn a No into a Yes"
To tell the truth the Christmas episode was number 2. The most romantic scene in the entire show was when Barney just up and went to San Francisco to bring Lily back. End of debate 😃😃 love all the comments.!!
HIMYM moved the goalposts in several respects. For me, Ted and Tracy should have been first. “Funny how you sometimes find… stuff” The writers’ use of the yellow umbrella throughout the series is genius.
How i met your mother had best romantic stories , i liked that we have couple like Marshall and Lily who always wanted to serious relationship and Barney and Robin who totally opposite of them.
@@Mani26031981 When i was rooting for Ted and Robin (before rooting for swarkles), i liked the part when he was secretly in love with robin and that kiss in new year's eve. I don't recall much of their dating period but sure some of them were great like when robin was sick and ted kissed her only to become sick etc.
@@barney4053 and I'll admit that Barney and Robin did have their share of good moments as well. He did save her from getting deported and went all out to help her with her citizenship test while also helping her reconcile with her father.
Victoria should’ve been the mother IMO. Because the chemistry between them was amazing and both kids had blue eyes. But when I watched “Something Old” it gave the best foreshadowing that Ted and a Robin would end up together.
@@dillonberry6540 There are very few babies or toddlers up for adoption in the 21st century & few people want to adopt older kids from very dysfunctional backgrounds. She says repeatedly that she doesn't want kids, so why would she want to adopt them?!
Ted has a very toxic anxious attachment style. I watch this series and think: this is how not to behave when dating. If it werent for Marshall and Lily, i wouldnt have finished this show. Also that unsavory dumb canon ending is too stupid.
"The Robin" is one of the worst and most toxic moments of the show! Can't believe some people still view it as romantic?? How is manipulating your ex into a marriage romantic? He didn't even burn his playbook (and Robin rightfully wanted to break the engagement because of this - shameful she didn't go through with it). She had so many doubts when he proposed, but somehow they didn't matter 🙄 'clever writing' yeah
