Hey guys, in this video I've shown you the Top 10 Most Unsafe Cars in India. Enjoy :) Don't forget to share this with your friends who are looking to buy a New Car ;) Music : Peyruis: / peyruis
Some of those vehicles actually held up well. The only reason they're unsafe is due to the lack of front and side airbags, airbags for the backseat, and/or locking mechanisms for the seatbelts.
@@srawn12 wonder what rating would have ambassador got. I think it was in 1994, i was a 10yr old kid, we were in a rented Ambassador on our way to Ooty, at Vijaynagar Signal in Bangalore, our Ambassador driver stopped since signal turned red, a truck banged the car from rear at atleast 40-50 speed, i was seated at the back seat with mumma and younger brother, dad at the front with the driver. The Trunk took most of the impact, so much that the rear windshield was all cracked, and the worst that happened was rear passenger doors on both sides got jammed, we jumped the seats and got out from from door. Thats all that happened. Infact after calling the travels they arranged another ambassador and we continued our trip. Such was the chassis of an ambassador. Another car with such chassis was Tata Sierra, those were literally like heavy metal boxes on road.
Save 6:29 minutes of your life 10] Renault lodgy 9] Datsun Go+ 8] Maruti suzuki eco 7] Datsun redi Go 6] Renault kwid 5] Hyundai grand i10 4] Mahindra scorpio 3] Maruti suzuki swift 2] Maruti suzuki wagon r 1] Hyundai santro
I think Redi Go would have scored 2 stars if they offered dual airbag. Also it's chassis performed better than grand i10 which is so sad as people consider redi go to be a bad product and i10 is considered as a well built car
My 2017Ciaz had a small accident with a tuk-tuk. Nothing happened to the tuk-tuk but my right side back door got a big hole and I could insert my hand in that thing.
I’m amazed by the lack of safety standards like none of these cars would be allowed to sell in the US (where I live) considering some have 2 or no airbags.
Don't worry, the Indian government is bringing out it's own NCAP, they've also said that after October, every car will need to have a minimum of 6 airbags.
@@cheeseplate25 yes, they'll call it 'Bharat NCAP' it has been officially announced. As for the 6 airbags rule, it will be mandatory after October 2022.
@@abnrmlshots the nano is the cheapest car ever made, this year's car has optional air conditioning, plus it's super small, looks really weird and has a solid rear end, so you don't even have a trunk. I'm going american, german or Japanese
Check proper website it's fake info actually maruthi swift has 0 rating and hyundai has 3 star - latin ncap crash test results ! Not all videos posted to be real all subjects to conflict of interest
That Was A Grand i10 With NO AIRBAGS, If You Have A Asta Variant Of i10 Then It Has Dual Airbags And 3 Star NCAP Rating.Half Of This Video's Info Is Fake Actually.
Well Renault Triber is a BEAST in front of these vehicles, along with cheapest price of 8 lakhs we get 7 seats with AC on each row and 4 star crash rating with 4 airbags, ABS and EBD and a decent engine. Kudos to Renault for producing such a fantastic car.
Some manufacturers of developed countries often omit safety equipments in regard to some regions. For example, Japanese and European specifications of Suzuki Swift equip side airbags and side curtain airbags which protect vehicle occupants from side collisions in addition to frontal airbags, but Indian specification has only frontal airbags. I hope these manufacturers provide all of regions of the world with identical safety measures. * I'm a Japanese and I'm not good at English.Excuse me, but if you can hardly to understand, please point out mistakes.
Ohhkk...I really thought that what you just said might be a possibility..... Anyways your english is so good...keep learning....I'm also learning Japanese......also just to point out one thing in the last line you should've said......"if you find it hard to understand"...anyways..👍👍
But even in those countries many people can't pay the ridiculous prices even for small econo boxes... How are people supposed to buy them in less developed world regions. I think side airbags and things like this should only be available as an option, if the car is more affordable without them. I feel perfectly safe in a car without them honestly.
One thing made me sad is most of the teachers in my school have these cars and I'm just very much struck that teachers don't even care about their lives
Normaly the entry level cars base model wont get stars as they wont or only have one airbag, its top ends will surely have one star more but saftey not only depend on number of airbag
You indian guys please buy smart fortowo since that is the safest structural car in India here in Europe we have safe structures and mostly 5 star cars and I can bet if smart fortowo is crash tested by Global NCAP it is gonna earn 5 or 4 stars.
NO MATTERS THAT SCORPIO GET 0 STARS. ALL INDIANS LOVE SCORPIO THAN OTHER CARS HE IS THE REAL KING . HE ROARS LIKE A TIGER. WE should PROUD OF SCORPIO . WE HAVE TO GIVE RESPECT TO SCORPIO.
@@ichosingliegise9729 Scorpio is the king of all cars indian I love Scorpio. In the video it shows that 0 stars but in real life Scorpio is Strongest car
Foreign companies:- Employee- boss with good quality and safety our sales are not growing... Boss- okay then reduce the quality and safety ,add some luxury looks then release in Indian market ....
I own a old model Wagon-R. As much as I would love to praise its practicality its literally the UNSAFE CAR ever!!! I'm going to purchase a Tata Nexon or Tigor next...and trust me it's a delight!
@Deathman solo 0005 Playz Yes but the Engine is trash safety is not all needed in car You won’t have an accident daily but u have to drive the car daily My friend owned a harrier and the engine problems started after 2-3 months after driving it
more over people will adjust 'saftey' on fan based vehicles check top offroaders and perfomance cars (which fly at 3digits) .we will say its due to that or this in case of above mentioned ones, but crash test rating for its 'saftey'
0:22 how can these be legal with those ratings, in uk renault always scream about 5 star safety rating but on a different continent they dont seem to care, Its as if they know the vehicle design is not structurally safe so didnt bother fitting a airbag/s because it wouldnt help, Dam thats not cool
The rules do seem very relaxed in India. Obviously vehicle cost and annual incomes are a factor. I do know that Maruti Suzuki use inferior steel to their Japanese made counterparts. There was a bulletin in my country when it was discovered some distributors were selling Maruti panels in the grey market. They didn't meet regulation.
They will sell what people want, here people are bent towards mileage and touchscreen , why any company will invest in safety when people just dont care for it ?
