The moment I pulled Charizard and Venusaur SIRs, I just bought the Blastoise and stopped opening 151 😂 Definitely one of the best sets Pokemon has ever created

I got the charizard alt & I didn’t even want it (the regular full art better in my opinion) I want the Blastoise it’s soo beautiful & zapdos! Then I’m done the set is expensive haha

I got the stamped squirtle PC promo with my UPC.. that's shot up in price from about a £15/£20 card to a £65/75 card. Hearing it has a low print run of 8k. Not sure how true that it but could explain price rise

Was lucky enough to pull a Charizard special art from my First 151 pack!! Out of a binder set, no less. But I noticed some prominent print lines, which sucked. I haven’t been into the cards much at all in a few years, but I saw someone post something similar about their special art rares. Have you seen anything like this, Ross?

I've actually got the whole squirtle evolution line so I'm happy they in toploaders and 151 official sleeves (special art rares)

I pulled Blastoise ex SIR from an Alakazam ex box. I favor Charmander over Squirtle but just like Base Set, Blastoise is more playable. Don't forget that Acuity Lake combos with Blastoise ex.

I managed to get both the alt art Zapdos and Blastoise in my New Premium Collection, finally ending the awful luck I had been having. I also have managed to pull the Charmander and the Wartortle... twice.

I have been kinda odd luck. Pulled Gold Mew Full Art Charizard, Erika ( Illustration rare) Ninetales Ex Full Art and Kangaskhan ex Full Art. All from one of each product. Im not sure if I should get the singles or open up some booster bundles

Is it worth it to get 151s psa graded? Getting back into collecting and investing after decades off. Like would a psa 10 SIR Blastoise be more valuable or do people not care as much and just use them to play or complete sets? Thanks 😊

I have 3 blastoises, 3 charmanders and 0 charizard double gold stars. Missing 11 total to complete set, will probably resort to buying singles, especially after hearing the Charizard was nearly 1 in 600 packs.

Grovyle is the exception to the Stage 1 awkwardness issue. Better than Treecko and Sceptile imho.

Tbh I prefer the more serious looking Blastoise and the fancy Venusaur over it but I agree that it's so different from all the other Charizard Cards that it really stands out compared to all the past Charizards that mostly looked the same. Still went with only a single jap. Charizard tho since it being so different from the rest might not be entirely beneficial.
