I also don't understand the hate with Last Jedi, I loved it! And that's coming from a life long Star Wars fan who grew up watching the originals on VHS in the 90s before the prequels. It avoided expectation and that's one of the aspects I loved about it.
I agree with most of these but not The Last Jedi. People complain about Jar Jar Binks being a bad character, but Rose is by far the worst Star Wars character of all time. Snoke had the potential to be an interesting villain but they just kill him off for no reason and don't even explain any of his backstory that was hinted at in The Force Awakens. Luke's character development from the original trilogy just gets thrown out the window. The soundtrack is boring and forgettable. Finn's character gets sidelined and none of his scenes really have any purpose in the grand scheme of the plot. Laura Dern's feminist purple-haired character was toxic and annoying and put in just to please SJWs. All of Disney Star Wars is garbage with the exception of Rogue One.
I can understand people not liking some of the choices but saying Rose is worse than Jar Jar?? And like I said, I hated that she saved Finn at the end. Also I thought Laura Dern was excellent in the film and had one of the most badass moments in any Star Wars film
@@tanstopten7758 Yeah Rose uninteresting, poorly acted, and worse than Jar-Jar. And the force voodoo that Luke uses and force facetime between Rey and Kylo Ren makes no sense. It's hard for me to speak negatively of a Star Wars movie because Star Wars is my favorite film series of all time and Episodes 3-6 are my Mount Rushmore of favorite movies. But that being said, I find The Last Jedi and Rise of Skywalker practically unwatchable.
