I remember going to the theater to see Independence Day: Resurgence and I manage to watch it through and at the end they had an opening ending for a possible third one, and I immediately thought to myself that this was the last Independence Day film. And I was absolutely right.

A confession I will take to my grave is that I did not hate “Jack and Jill” I know that’s the definitive worst Adam Sandler movie, and all of my friends who love him could not make it through. I have re-watched that movie.

I HATED ‘Jack & Jill’ when I saw it in theaters. I hardly laughed and talked so much shit about it after it ended. I don’t know why, but I watched it like a decade later, and while it’s still a ridiculous movie, I actually like it now. It’s because I love Adam Sandler and he seems to have so much fun making silly movies, that it’s infectious. The movie does make me laugh more now.

My friends and I asked for a refund when we went to Paranormal Activity only because it was so loud in the theater we couldn’t hear a word of the movie. It was like only 15 mins in though. Asking for a refund because you didn’t like a movie seems like scummy behavior.

I've never asked for a refund, but there were a couple I remember walking out of early. Also, there are few I remember staying until the end and then thinking "What the Hell did I just see?" In the late '80s, during Rutger Hauer's peak of popularity, he made a movie called The Blood Of Heroes. My brother and I were both huge Rutger Hauer fans as was both my parents. My brother had already moved out of the house and was married and I was in my second year of grad school. One weekend, my brother's wife was out of town, and he called me up and asked me if I wanted to see the new Rutger Hauer movie. I jumped at the chance. Boy, was that an awful movie. When the movie was over, my brother and I looked at each other and said at the same time "That sucked!" Hauer was on such a hot streak up to that point, from the late '70s through most of the '80s with great movies and/or character roles he was playing. That movie basically put a full stop to his successful run. Most movie roles that came after that for him were either B-movie roles, direct-to-video movie roles, Made-for-TV/cable movie roles, or just small supporting roles in bigger films. There were a couple movies/roles sprinkled throughout the rest of his career that were decent to good., but they were few and far between. Hell, even his so-called "comeback" movie role in Hobo With A Shotgun in the early '10s, which got critical acclaim, I thought was pure garbage. Nothing like his classic roles from Nighthawks, Blade Runner, The Osterman Weekend, A Breed Apart, Ladyhawke, Flesh And Blood, The Hitcher, Wanted: Dead Or Alive, and Blind Fury. He was really on a roll in the '80s until that movie in 1989, The Blood Of Heroes.

There is a scene in the preview for Jack and Jill when Tim meddows asks if he and his sister are identical or fraternal twins and that was enough for me to know I didn't want to see the movie. My sister who has a twin brother later informed me that people would ask her this all the time and she would respond with no he has a penis.

I saw Jack and Jill on a plane and I thought it was so bad, but yet hilarious. So did the others that were watching.

I took a friend to see The Phantom Menace and Attack of the Clones at the theater when they came out and it was the two worst movie experiences of my life, but he enjoyed them so I guess that's all that matters. Edit; I'm only a fan of the Og trilogy.

Home Alone 2. The movie itself was good, but the theater couldn't get the audio synced. They had to skip about a half an hour of the movie to catch up to the audio for some reason. Didn't get to watch the whole movie until it came out on VHS. Didn't ask for a refund, just never went back to that theater.

... Why people think "live action adaptation" from successful animated series or else are good ideas? Never once someone watching it said: "dang, this is way better than the original". Why producing something that will always be compared to the original, as a sub-product? If the idea was adapting "new content", original stories, from the brand, why not. But remakes live action will always fail, when it's about copy / paste / edit.

The only movie i ever walked out was episode ix of Star Wars The Bullshit Rises and i dressed like Liam Neeson for the Ep1 premiere in 1999 and saw Star Wars in the cinema and the drive in 4x in 1977.

I requested a refund once, but not because the movie was bad. It’s because it was presented in English ads (in Japan) but as I sat down to watch and saw the cast names coming up, I realized it was all in French with Jaoanese subtitles… and was almost four hours long.

i am surprised not to see marvel's the eternals on this list because from what i hear about a lot of people has said it is very boring and some people walking out of the theater because of that.
