Number 4 is the highlight of my Morzine holidays. Les arcs is my fav place on the planet. winter for ski and summer for bike. Great vid 👍

Trail-Finder Hard to beat those..... just couldn’t deny the vision line as it is literally perfection or Tignes as it’s so fresh and different!

Had planned an 8 week trip round europe this summer in the camper. A few of these destinations on the list. Pila and the Golfie a couple of my favourites!! 👍

Wow that sounds mega!! It still may be possible if you stick to France and leave late in the season....probably not for 8 weeks though?? Pila is one of my faves too!! love the trail that descends to the carpark!!!

Do you take your bike or rent? Is it simple and reasonable to transport your own? What would you recommend?

I always take my own because i'd rather save the cash and ride what i'm used to. Although If you don't mind spending a few quid then hiring would be a lot less hassle and less wear on your own bike. When visiting the likes of Morzine i always drive so throwing the bike in is no hassle. Flying with the bike isn't too bad and iv'e never had anything damaged but if you go down this route make sure you check luggage/weight dimentions as they can be very strict. P.s Don't fly with Co2 canisters.....

Can you hire bikes at all the Abroad trails if you don’t fancy taking your own bike over ?

Yeah sure, there are plenty of rental shops in the Alps. It can get pricey if you’re hiring for the whole week, but there is something to be said about having a fresh downhill bike to ride hard! I have a discount code on my website with Startline Mtb which could save you a few 💴’s 👍

Can't argue with no.1. Black 8 certainly has evolved in the last 20 or so years. I really hope both our plans for this summer in the Alps don't go down the pan but there's always the Spanish Pyrenees in autumn/next spring as a backup.
