I did not mention that in the video as I was a little unsure of how secure it would be. It has been there for two years now without issue but caution should be taken as it is a lot of weight over your head and if you crash or hit a really hard bump it could come loose. Then I added a curtain rod holder to the front of the speaker box. I cut and painted the the curtain rod and attached it to the front cross member with one of these on each side of the rod... amzn.to/3q1Yy6u and a bolt going through both brackets and the curtain rod as seen in the video. I am no pro so take caution to ensure the installation is secure!!!

I have not had a chance to research the different shock upgrades. I definitely think that shock upgrades are a great idea but didn't feel knowledgeable enough to recommend. I have that on my list of items to research for mine and will probably do a video then. Thanks for the comment!

I have never had an issue with it.

A few small scratches. I just make sure I get the windshield very wet, rinse off anything that will rinse off, and THEN wash gently with a microfiber and car wash solution. Wiping off clumps of mud/sand/clay without rinsing first is what I believes to major scratching.

The soundbar also fits great in the 1000. The rear lightbar is universal. The front light bar is for the 700 but they make one for the 1000 as well.
