Then that year where you were up 16-0 at halftime and we won in the 4th quarter with a TD and won 17-16. We're a thorn in the foot of FSU and Clemson in football. Just like Wake is a thorn in our foot.
Watching Jimbo Fisher lose those games was a special treat. He thought he was a great head coach just because he road the coattails of a great head coach for so long.
Heck don't blame the kid. He's had enough crap thrown his way. I can't imagine the pressure he could possibly be under and then to have to kick a ball with all that adrenaline rushing through you accurately would be insane. That being said, I think it's a Clemson curse because Dunn did it too and since Hauswashka (Seattle kicker a few years back and I'm totally screwing his name up), he's our best kicker I can remember.
Nate Irving was one of my favorite players to watch. He played INTENSE. We've got amazing linebackers this season that could easily all play on Sundays, but Travis Ingle plays with a chip on his shoulder and is one of the best open field tacklers I've ever seen. Think if we had Nate Irving and Chubb play together. That would be unfair.
I was at that first clip of the bowl game. That was a great one to go to! Then when we beat UL a year or two before they joined the ACC when they had Bridgewater and we stomped them
And wake is our kryptonite in all sports. Like how are they good randomly be the best team in the Atlantic when it was supposed to be Clemson's normal year until we knocked them off and Wake just happened to be a freaking top 10 team this year. Crazy State 💩
