Copped the 2002r Black Fig colorway 2 years ago when they were hyping around before the 1906r ones, really comfy and went to my purple shoe rotation, just not very breathable as i though.
Just recently got back into walking again. Getting in about 15k steps per day. All I got is a new pair of 574’s I bought a couple yrs ago that I never wear. I’d love me a pair of those NB with a lot of cushion, as I’m a big guy (6’1 , 330 pounds).
I kind of expected to see the 1000 among these, I have read it is pretty comfortable, and the Reflective Pack that came recently is honestly crazy, specially the one that is black and then turns purple when reflecting, still... Great video!
I don't know why the 1000's isn't even on the list, I know it still has a very limited colorway but I was expecting them to be on top 3 with 9060 and 1906.
I just bought the more v5 yesterday, it has a 43 mm stack height, which is not the highest I've seen by NB, the SC trainer v1 a couple years ago was 47 mm, both those shoes are beasts! 😍
Bought the rebel v4 on a whim because of your most comfortable 2024 video, bought another pair for my auntie so we can match and so she can maybe walk with less leg pain
Been wearing 574s off and on since the 90s. Always appreciated NB. They've always been a solid brand. With that who would have thought 3-4 years ago with all the crazy hypebeast sneakers, Jordans, yeezy etc stuff going New Balance would have a whole video dedicated to them.
I've been wearing 1080 V12's for years now and they are just as good now as they were brand new. I've put at least 2k miles on them. New Balance are the best Shoes I've ever wore. I also have a pair of NB Trail shoes that I've put probably 1k miles up in the hills and they are still in excellent condition as well. I am likely a NB customer for life at this point... cheers!
The Rebels have been my dog walkers since July. 1906r’s have been my go to joints all summer. For $140 for the Rebels V4’s, you’d be hard pressed to find something better for the money. It’s great.
I used to wear 574 when I was in school because it was affordable and in the budget my parents gave me so I would agree that shoe really represents NB!

my NB collection is slowly getting bigger. I have a pair of 550s, I just bought a pair of my first 9060's last week in an AWESOME loud colorway, More Trail V3's, Fresh Foam X Hierro V7 and I just ordered a pair of 990 V6s five minutes ago. I had a pair of 990 V2s when they first came out but got rid of them because honestly, they weren't that comfortable. I'm hoping the v6 is more comfortable but also good and stable.
I immediately cop 993 made in USA when I saw it in Sydney. Its bulky but surprisingly comfortable. I bought 1906R In black/silver/grey when I saw in Manila at 60% off! 😮💨
Coming from a decent 99x and many other NBs collection, I grabbed my first pair of 574s last year out of curiosity and fell in love. Great build quality for price, clean style, pretty comfy and it’s just nice not having to worry about messing up $150-$250 shoes
I have a 574, 2002r, 9060, and 1906r and not a single one of them hurts my feet. What's insane is they cost lees than a Jordan 1 high that has literally just rubber and leather. Crazy what hype does
The 1906 blacksilvergold colorway is the most famous shoe for Kdrama fans. It was featured in 'Queen of Tears' Kdrama and its a big hit. My girlfriend was a big Kdrama fan, but im not. I heard that this pair is very famous in my homeland Philippines (Im currently living in Berlin,Germany. Coincidentally where some scenes in Queen of Tears are also located here). She really wanted to own a pair, then i bought her a pair, and also myself like our couple shoes. Was absolute fantastic, very comfortable and fits to our style and fashion 😁
I tried the rebel v4s in store to wear casually and they were comfy but I didn’t like the rocker feel they had so I think I’ll go with the 1080s instead
I bought the 1906R in that exact colorway for both myself and my wife. We're planning on wearing them for our anniversary trip to Vegas. some style and comfort
I got them a few years ago and rock them from time to time during the summer. I put a $300 bid on them back in 2020 as a treat for myself for my birthday while I was buzzed when they were going for around 400-450 and a few months later after I forgot about them someone actually accepted the bid. I thought someone stole my info and bought something then I remembered after thinking back about that bid😂. In any case it's a great sneaker and I enjoy wearing them!
The NB 550s are fire BUT I have to say many ppl have said they are uncomfortable and need to be broken in, including me. For me it’s only the right sneaker at the big toe knuckle on the ball of the foot. Only wore twice and still trying to get the sneaker to not dig in :(
Check out that 1906U Whitaker Group Blue Steel collab. I got those and the Action Bronson’s Azul at the same time and I prefer the Blue Steels. And they should still be around or under retail.
Not a sneakerhead, just a dedicated NB and running shoe wearer. The construction of the 530 feels very cheap. Especially if you’ve worn the higher models (990 and higher). I’m so used to the quality of the higher models I was very disappointed with the 530s. I know the lower numbers quality isn’t as good but there’s even a steep fall off from the quality of the 530 vs the 574.
I love the 1906r. I have the same color way and I agree with everything you said. True to size. The color way just looks so cool. I get compliments everytime I wear them. It’s very different in comparison to the other NB sneakers.
anybody find the 550s super uncomfortable? I haven't been able to break them in. Had them for a couple of years now and I just can't wear them more than an hour at a time
While I don't disagree with most of your choices my personal favourite ( out of my 30+ pairs of NB ) are the much maligned WRPD Runners . They're very comfortable , look clean and come in a great range of colours ( in both suede and leather ) , Sadly I feel I'm in a minority championing them - but I think that might be because the majority of people haven't given them a try 🤷♂
This list is a good example of this channel’s neglect of any brand besides Nike. It’s missing many ‘top’ models, features the 992 (which can’t be purchased new from NB in 2024!) and feels forced. Why feature a 992 but not the 993, which is actually available? Where’s the MiUK 991v2? Where’s the 1000? The back shelf hasn’t even been changed to feature NB products. All Jordans on there. Feels like a phoned in video. Sad.
The phrase "not gonna lie" needs to be retired if it's going to be used as often as an "um" , as well as the idea that I wouldn't want to listen to a youtuber constantly professing his honesty. Odd phrase for the younger generation . . .
